Fairy Tail: Jinchuriki

Alex still can't believe they actually remove his clothes in front of everyone just to make him take a bath. It reminds him of how Ur would just strip him during their training so he could get used to the cold.

"Until when will you sulk?" Makarov who sits on the bar beside Alex is asking as if he is innocent.

"You could've just told me to take a bath and I'd do it myself." Alex says with a tick mark appears on his forehead.

"It was faster that way. Also, look at how you silence all the men here."

"Huh?" Alex looks around and sees most of the men seem depressed. "What's with them?"

"They are defeated by a kid, so obviously they aren't happy." Makarov says while sighing.

"Defeated? A kid? Wow, I never knew there was a kid strong enough to defeat all of them in a short time while I took a bath. I didn't even hear the battle."

Alex is genuinely shocked now. He really doesn't know there is a kid that strong in Fairy Tail around this time. It makes him curious about the kid, so he looks around to find the said kid, but he is the youngest person here now.

"No need to look around. The kid that I mean is you."

"Huh? Me? But I don't fight anyone here." Alex tilts his head in confusion.

"You didn't. They were just comparing themselves with you and felt defeated."

"Huh? I don't understand."

"It's fine if you don't understand. It's not important, after all." Makarov stops the talk without clear explanations even though he's the one who starts it.

Alex is still confused, but he doesn't pursue it further. It might not be something important if Makarov dismisses it this easily.

Though Makarov just can't say that the adult men here are feeling depressed after seeing Alex's lower region. He can't say the adults felt defeated by an 11 y.o's little guy.

"Anyway, you want to join our Fairy Tail Guild, right?"

"Yes."

They finally start talking about joining the Guild.

"Alright. We don't have many requirements for people to join. As long as you are a Mage, aren't a wanted criminal, and aren't learning forbidden magic, then you can join Fairy Tail. So, do you have an ID?"

"Yeah, here."

Alex gives Makarov his ID card that Ur made for him in the town near her house.

"Oh? You are from the Land of Isvan? That's pretty far. Are you sure you want to join a Guild in Fiore? You might need to change citizenship later."

"No problem. I don't care about my Nationality."

Makarov gives the ID card to the bartender who then puts it on a device that has a Lacrima crystal ball on it.

"That's a device to check if your ID is real or not. Also it can be used to check your crime records if you have any."

"I see." Alex isn't worried because the ID is real and he never does any crime.

The bartender returns the ID to Makarov while nodding.

"Great, you are clean. Now, regarding Magic, can you already use Magic or do you plan on learning it here? If you haven't learned it, then we'll need to check if you have enough magic power to start practicing magic."

"I can already use magic. Do you want to see it?"

"Of course. Can you do it here or do you need a bigger space?"

"I can show it here." Alex says it while getting down from the chair. He takes a few steps away from the chair before creating a blue magic circle with black writing under his feet.

"Take Over! Beast Soul: Matatabi! Human Form!"

Alex's body glows blue as he transforms into Matatabi's humanoid form. He turns into a 2-tailed cat-man with a body made out of blue fire with black marks all over his body.

"Oh? Take Over magic, huh? I haven't seen it in a while. Also, it's a beast I've never seen before, how surprising."

Makarov is genuinely surprised by Alex's magic, especially the beast he transforms into because even with his decades of experience as a Mage, Makarov has never seen or known this beast.

But he doesn't ask where Alex gets this beast because it's personal information. He'd rather wait for Alex to tell it himself in the future when they've gotten much closer.

After all, Makarov knows that children who join Magic Guilds usually have bad experiences. If they have good lives, then they will stay with their parents instead of working through Magic Guilds like this.

So he never questions them too much and always lets them open up to him. After all, Fairy Tail was built as a place to form bonds, to form friendship, not just a place to get money.

"Should I show my battle skills too?"

"Hmm, that seems necessary to gauge your power so we can assign the correct job to you. Then let's go to the back."

Makarov leads Alex to the back of the building where the training ground is located. Everyone follows them to watch the fight and see how strong Alex is.

"Alright, come at me with your full power!" Makarov stands 20 meters in front of Alex.

Alex nods his head while getting ready to fight Makarov. He knows he doesn't need to hold back against the old man who is one of the strongest people in this continent.

It's a good chance to test his current level too, so Alex plans to go all out. There's no better opponent to test his limit here other than Makarov, after all.

The test starts and Alex immediately charges toward Makarov at a very high speed. He is so fast that most people there can't even see his movements.

They only see him again when his punch hits Makarov's enlarged hand. Makarov tries to grab him, but Alex quickly gets away. He is very fast, so Makarov fails to catch him.

"Fire Release!"

A small red magic circle appears on each of his hands. Alex then stabs the red magic circles with his claws and now his hands and forearms are covered with hot red fire.

"Claws of Hellcats!"

Alex moves at a high speed again and now he appears on Makarov's left side. He swipes his burning claws in a cross shape from above, but Makarov blocks his attack again, now with the back of his enlarged hand.

His attack leaves scorching scratches on Makarov's skin, which surprises everyone including Makarov himself.

The scratches aren't deep, but it's still very impressive that Alex manages to break Makarov's high physical and magical defense.

It makes Makarov really want to know just how strong Alex really is now. So he tells Alex to keep going and show his true power as Makarov grows into a 2 meter muscular old man.

Alex now covers his legs with hot red fire too just like his arms. Then he starts attacking Makarov with the close combat skills he has learned and polished all these months.

Makarov mostly blocks and dodges Alex's attacks which consist of punches, claw attacks, kicks, and knee attacks.

His close combat skills fail to get through Makarov's defense. He manages to injure Makarov when the old man blocks his attacks, but all of them are minor injuries.

So Alex tries to use something else. He makes a distance with Makarov while creating a red magic circle in front of his mouth. A fireball forms in front of the magic circle as Alex opens his mouth.

"Fire Release: Flaming Cat Roar!"

Alex shoots the fireball toward Makarov and it flies at a very high speed. Makarov's eyes twitch as he senses the power inside the flying fireball.

It is small, but Makarov can feel that it's a powerful attack that can't be underestimated. So he enlarges his right arm and covers it with Light Magic as he catches the fireball.

Makarov clenches the fireball, making it explode inside his fist. The fire generated from that explosion passes through the gaps between Makarov's fingers and although its power has reduced a lot, the bursting fire is still strong.

Everyone can see how strong it is from the one that passes the gap and hits the ground. The ground that gets hit by the bursting fire is broken and burnt until they glow red like burnt iron.

"Ouch! Ouch! Ouch! It's so hot."

Makarov reverts his enlarged arms to its original size so he can blow air to cool it down. The fireball is so hot that even with Light Magic protecting his hand, Makarov still feels his hand is burnt.

"Phew, that was a very powerful attack, little Alex. But I think you should only use it as the last resort for now, at least until you have a lot more magic power."

Makarov says it while looking at Alex who has returned to his human form and now lies on the ground. That last attack used all of his magic power, so now he runs out of it and can't maintain his transformation.

"Huft! Huft! I-it's okay. I can reduce its power. I just want to see if I have even the slightest chance to win, but it seems my power is still far from enough."

Makarov is surprised by Alex's answer. But then he grins. "Then do your best to surpass me. I will entertain you if I have time. Welcome to Fairy Tail."
