As Six and the crew inspected the general store, they found Boxcars, a crippled Powder Ganger, lying on a dirty mattress in the corner, barely able to move due to his injuries. His legs were a mess, swollen and bandaged with what little supplies he could find.

"Who the hell are you?"

Boxcars rasped, wincing in pain as he tried to sit up.

Six crouched beside him, noticing the poor condition of his legs.

"We're just passing through, but it looks like this town didn't fare too well. What happened here?"

Boxcars groaned in frustration, clearly in agony.

"The Legion happened. They came in like a damn storm. We were planning to ambush some NCR soldiers, take 'em out, but instead, we got set up. They knew we were coming. Vulpes Inculta, their leader, and his men—brutal bastards—they forced us all into a lottery."

"A lottery?"

Cassidy echoed, arms crossed.

"What, like some sick game?"

Boxcars nodded grimly.

"Yeah, everyone in town had to pull a ticket. Winner got to walk away. I got second place, which meant I kept my life… but they broke my legs as a reward. The rest? Crucified, enslaved, or killed. Even the mayor, Joseph B. Steyn, got his share of Legion justice."

He spat on the ground, his face twisted in anger and pain.

"They rounded up survivors and dragged them east, off to be slaves or worse. All for some sick lesson. Nipton didn't care who they served, Powder Gangers, NCR, even the Legion… all they cared about was money. So, the Legion made an example out of us."

Rebecca, leaning against a counter, rolled her eyes.

"A lot of talk for a crippled man asking for mercy. Typical."

Boxcars groaned and shifted his weight, clearly in pain.

"Look, my legs are killing me. I need Med-X, something to take the edge off."

After hearing Boxcars' recount of the events in Nipton, Six paused to comprehend the gravity of the situation. The Legion had savaged the town, and the enslaved survivors were now being transported east.

As Boxcars kept moaning about his agony and requesting Med-X, Rebecca had already decided. Without waiting for Six to speak, Rebecca lifted Gutz and, without a second thought, fired at Boxcars' head. His body fell back, devoid of life.

The sudden crack of her shotgun echoed in the small store, leaving the rest of the crew unfazed, having grown accustomed to Rebecca's straightforward approach to scum like Boxcars.

"Well, mercy granted, and that solves one problem."

Rebecca said nonchalantly, holstering her weapon.

"No point in wasting time or Med-X on someone who'll just end up stabbing us in the back."

Cassidy glanced at Rebecca, slightly surprised at the chibi but not entirely shocked.

"Well, he was a Powder Ganger. Probably would've been more trouble than help."

Six nodded in agreement, unfazed by her action.

"Well, he gave us the information we needed. He wasn't going to be much help anyway. So no loss there, now we know what we're dealing with."

The Cowboy began pacing, formulating a plan for how they would handle the situation.

"The Legion is likely still here, and they've taken prisoners east. We have a few options. We can intercept them, or we can take out the Legion presence here and use the information to our advantage."

Boone crossed his arms, his expression hard.

"The Legion doesn't deserve to live, especially not after what they did to these people. We should wipe them out."

Cassidy nodded in agreement.

"I'm with Boone. If there are any Legion left, we need to take 'em down. They're nothing but slavers and murderers."

Six considered their input for a moment.

"Alright, here's the plan. We'll tackle the Legionnaires in the town first. Boone, take a position on the roof of the general store. You'll act as our lookout and provide long-range support. When I draw them out, I need you to target any Legion soldiers you spot from a distance—eliminate them quickly once I give the starting code phrase."

Boone gave a firm nod.

"You got it. I'll start picking them off from up top."

Six turned to Rebecca, Cassidy, and Raul.

"You three will be with me on the ground. When Boone starts firing, they'll panic. That's when you'll move in and take out the rest. Rebecca, I'll need you to deal with any Legion dogs—they'll send them out first, the Legion loves to use those in close combat."

Rebecca grinned.

"No problem. I'll put those dogs down before they even get close."

He continued.

"Raul, keep your shots focused. Take out anyone trying to flank us. Cassidy, stick with Rebecca. You'll both push straight through them once they're disoriented."

With the plan set, Six readied his weapons.

"Remember, the Legion is ruthless. We have to be quicker, smarter, and deadlier than they are. Let's end them before they can hurt anyone else."

The crew geared up, and Boone climbed onto the roof of the general store, positioning himself in a sniping spot. Six, Rebecca, Cassidy, and Raul took their positions outside, hidden behind debris and crumbling walls.

As he approached the town hall, Six spotted a group of Legion soldiers led by none other than Vulpes Inculta, calmly standing near the crucified bodies.

Vulpes noticed Six and raised his hand, signaling for his men to stand down.

"Don't worry, I won't have you lashed to a cross like the rest of these degenerates. It's useful that you happened by… I want you to witness the fate of the town of Nipton. I want you to teach everyone you meet the lesson that Caesar's Legion taught here, especially any NCR troops you run across."

Six clenched his jaw but stayed silent, allowing Vulpes to continue.

"Nipton was a wicked place, debased and corrupt. It served all comers, so long as they paid. The town agreed to lead those it sheltered into a trap. Only when I sprung it did they realize they were caught inside it too. I told them their sins, the foremost being disloyalty. And then, I announced the lottery."

His voice dripped with disdain as he recounted the town's fall.

"Each clutched their ticket, hoping it would set them free. But not once did they resist, even when their loved ones were dragged away to be killed. Cowardly, selfish… each cared only for themselves."

As soon as Vulpes Inculta finished his twisted tale of the Legion's brutality, Six had heard enough. The man was a monster, glorifying the suffering he had inflicted on Nipton's people. Six's blood boiled, but he stayed cool on the outside, knowing he had to wait for the perfect moment.

Vulpes sneered, expecting Six to be another helpless observer, but that wasn't going to happen. With a quick motion, Six yelled the code phrase for his crew to begin the assault:

"Bimannan!"

In that split second, Six put a bullet straight into Vulpes' skull, the shot ringing out as Vulpes' body crumpled to the ground, his monologue cut short in the most brutal way.

Boone's sniper rifle echoed through the air. The first Legionnaire dropped to the ground, his skull blown apart by Boone's precision shot. The chaos began immediately.

 The fight was on.

From the entrance of the town hall, the Legionnaires, momentarily shocked by the sudden loss of their leader, quickly recovered barking orders and sending their war hounds into the fray charging toward Six and his crew. Rebecca was ready. With her quick reflexes and sharp aim, she started dropping the dogs one by one before they could even get close to the crew or her man.

From the rooftop of the general store, Boone was in position with his sniper rifle. The crack of his shots echoed through the air as he picked off Legionaries one by one. Each shot was precise, deadly, and swift—just like Boone himself. His cold fury against the Legion burned with every trigger pull.

As the Legion scrambled, Six and his team moved in. Cassidy let loose with her shotgun, the powerful blasts tearing through the advancing soldiers. Raul, calm and collected, took calculated shots, picking off any Legion soldier who tried to slip through the chaos.

Rebecca, wielding her shotgun, blasted through the first wave of Legion soldiers with ruthless efficiency, her instincts from Night City kicking in. She was no stranger to chaos and violence, and it showed as she cut through the enemies like a whirlwind.

Cassidy, shotgun in hand, was right behind her, her fury for what had been done to Nipton driving her forward. Each blast from her weapon was followed by a sharp curse as she vented her rage at the Legion, mowing down anyone foolish enough to get close.

Raul, steady and precise, picked off stragglers with his revolver, targeting weak spots in their armor. Though older, the ghoul had centuries of experience, and it showed in how calmly and methodically he took down Legionnaires, one after another.

Meanwhile, Six, having taken out Vulpes, still with his Desert Eagles, aimed at the advancing hounds. The beasts were fast, but they weren't faster than Six's reflexes. With quick shots, he dropped the war dogs one by one with the help of his wife firing cover, and their hulking forms collapsing before they could reach his crew.

In the midst of the carnage, Six saw the town hall entrance open once more, and a new wave of Legionnaires emerged, led by a Veteran Legionnaire. He was barking orders, trying to rally his men.

Without hesitation, Six activated VATS, targeting the Veteran's head. Time slowed as he pulled the trigger, and the Veteran's head exploded in a shower of blood and bone. The remaining Legionnaires faltered, their morale shattered.

As the fight raged on, the Legion tried to regroup, but Boone's sniper fire kept them disorganized, while Six and the rest of the crew cut down the advancing forces.

One Legionnaire made it dangerously close to Rebecca, but she quickly sidestepped his attack and rammed her shotgun into his gut, pulling the trigger and sending him flying back with a gaping hole in his chest.

"Nice try, asshole! I just gave you another hole to shit yourself."

She muttered.

Within minutes, the remaining Legionnaires were either dead or dying. The once-proud force that had terrorized Nipton was now just a pile of bodies scattered across the burning town. The crew stood victorious, panting slightly from the effort, but otherwise unscathed.

Six stood over Vulpes' body, staring down at the lifeless form of the man who had been responsible for so much death and misery. He spat on the ground next to him, his disgust for the Legion unwavering, and took his head.

Cassidy wiped the sweat off her brow, looking around at the carnage.

"That's for Nipton, you bastards."

Rebecca grinned.

"Now that's how you deal with scum."

Boone, climbing down from his perch, joined the group, his rifle slung over his shoulder.

"It's not enough."

He muttered, his hatred for the Legion burning deep in his eyes. Thinking of what these animals would do to Carla and his two kids.

"But there'll be more of them. This was just a small part of their force."

Six nodded.

"We'll make sure it's just the beginning. Let's gather up what we can and head out. There's more work to be done."

Rebecca smirked, wiping the blood from her shotgun.

"That was fun. Hope the next batch puts up more of a fight."

Six smiled grimly.

"They will. The Legion's not done with us yet. But for now, let's gather what we can and move on. We have prisoners to rescue and a bigger fight ahead."

With the Legion threat in Nipton eliminated, Six and his crew began looting the bodies for any useful equipment. They piled up the bodies for Six to trade later and ensured no Legionnaire remained to tell the tale of what happened.

As the smoke still rose from the burning remnants of the town, Six and his crew prepared to move on. Their journey wasn't over, and with the Legion still a threat in the Mojave, there would be more battles to fight. But today, they had sent a message: no one, not even Caesar's Legion, was untouchable.
