Fear and Hunger, Gamer Soul

Chapter 8: Chapter 7

.....

Leon expected this basement to be big and that it would take a long time to explore it.

But he didn't expect that after a month they wouldn't be able to explore the whole place. In fact, if this group were a little more competent, maybe they could, but life really was full of surprises.

Imagine the following situation: you have a group of 25 people who are going to explore a place that looks like a maze and is highly dangerous for most of the group. But as if that weren't enough, now imagine that these 24 people in the group are actually Zoro from One Piece, not in terms of strength, of course, but in terms of his famous sense of direction....

Leon had simply thought about killing himself so many times when he saw them going round and round the same place. It was simply the most absurd thing he had ever seen, but he managed to control himself and hoped that one day they would be able to get out of there.

Yes, this stopped being an exploration and turned into a game of escaping the basement.

In case you're wondering why I don't lead the way... The truth is quite simple, I have no idea where... I mean, I'm a child! How could a small and fragile child risk doing something as dangerous as leading the way in this kind of place?

But seriously... I'm going crazy with this place, it's been so long since I've seen sunlight that I'm starting to talk to inanimate objects.

Take my sword for example, Every night I hear its voice whispering that it's going to take possession of my beautiful body, simply the most perverted sword you'll ever meet in modern times.

'Fuck you! When I take your body...'

'Yes, yes, the same old thing, after that you'll do this and that and everything else, the same old Miasma speech has gotten tiresome.' Leon finished without paying much attention to the whispers of his tsundere sword.

'Now you..., know that as soon as I take control of your body, I won't kill the one you love, I'll kill you immediately, I'll rid the world of your annoying existence.'

'You can tell the truth Miasma, you're just very jealous, you're like a cute Yandere, but don't worry... I can have others, but you'll always be my number 1.'

This human was dead, simply dead, Miasma never thought she would hear so many idiotic things in such a short period of time, this child said so many nonsense and words that she had never heard before, but she was sure of one thing, if the one who said these words was this human, it was definitely not a good thing.

Leaving aside the Yandere personality of this sword and its jealous outbursts, Leon did not dislike Miasma. By chance, Leon discovered something fascinating about Miasma: it had a poison that simply touching its blade left you poisoned, and this poison... It was something that Leon would not describe the effects of at that moment, but let's just say that the unfortunate soldier who touched this blade asked to be killed within the first 3 minutes after touching it.

With Miasma now in his hands, Leon now had a way to kill large enemies. If there were giants in this world, Leon could simply give the giant a few cuts on the leg and then wait for the magic to happen.

Suddenly, a soldier who was ahead shouted.

"I see a light, I think it's the exit!"

Without wasting time, Leon overtook everyone in the group and ran ahead.

'Please be the exit, I can't take this anymore, I just want to take a bath.'

Just as Leon was approaching the sudden light, the space in front of him began to tremble.

Ignoring this, Leon continued to follow his path, running towards where the light was.

Until suddenly an old woman appeared in front of him. Before she could do anything, Leon passed by her.

Without understanding anything, she looked back, looking at the boy who simply ignored her and passed by her.

Before she could complain, she saw her vision begin to spin.

Without understanding anything, she was alarmed to suddenly see her headless body...

"Yes! Yes! I'm finally out of this damn place!" Upon seeing the brightness of the sun, Leon couldn't help but shed a few tears.

[You received 100 experience]

Soon after, the entire exploration group that was behind Leon began to leave the basement, each with tears of relief streaming down their faces.

"Oh, mighty gods! Thank you for such mercy, I swear I will never forget this."

Hearing this, Leon glanced at the soldier who was kneeling and thanking him.

A smile couldn't help but appear on Leon's lips, trying his best not to mock the idiotic faith of some insignificant extras.

It's as if any god would help them, all you can count on in this life is yourself, Leon had thought he was some kind of protagonist or something and that by having caught the attention of an Ancient God he would have some kind of protection that would be useful at some point....

But when he really needed help, no God looked in his direction, they didn't owe him anything and he wasn't a protagonist, he never really tried to be a religious person in this world, even though he knew that several gods really existed.

The one thought that always lingered in Leon's mind when he thought about the information about various gods that he had learned while playing was....

'How many attribute points would I need to have to kill a God?'

'How much XP would I gain from killing a God?'

'How much XP would I gain if I killed him over and over again?'

'How hard would I have to punch to rip off one's head with just one punch?'

While Leon was lost in thought, all the soldiers had left, leaving only Leon and two other people.

"Hey brat! What are you waiting for? Let's go, I'm dying to take a shower and get some sleep." Trish, the red-haired knight, said as she ran her hand through Leon's hair.

Rudimer, who had not left either, asked.

"Leon, I was thinking for a while and decided to give you a raise, what did you do? You really earned it and many lives were saved thanks to your strength."

Rudimer spoke enthusiastically, trying to cheer Leon up, despite the tiredness evident on his face.

"Rudimer..." Leon spoke in a whisper with his head down.

Rudimer looked at Leon worriedly.

"You can speak, Leon, if you don't want to go back to..."

Not letting Rudimer finish speaking, Leon asked, raising his head, showing his face that was red with a genuine smile.

"Do you think the Gods feel pain? If I dismembered their legs and arms and then made them die slowly..."

Rudimer didn't know what to answer for a moment while Leon didn't stop asking increasingly absurd questions....
