From the survivor to the vanisher

Chapter 11: Chapter 11: The price of Knowledge

As the curse lifted, the villagers began to stir, their faces blank but slowly returning to a semblance of normalcy. The possessed villagers who had wandered aimlessly now stood still, blinking as though waking from a nightmare.

Aditya wakeup and stood beside Druva, watching the scene unfold. The village was still quiet, but it felt different now—lighter, as if the shadow that had loomed over it for so long had finally been lifted.

But there was something in Druva's eyes that made Aditya uneasy. It wasn't relief or satisfaction—it was something darker, something Aditya couldn't place.

"You did it," Aditya said, his voice quiet.

Druva nodded slowly, his gaze distant. "The curse is broken," he said, but his voice carried an edge of something else. "But the price of knowledge is always high. You've seen what happens when people meddle with forces beyond their understanding."

Aditya frowned. "What do you mean?"

Druva turned to him, his eyes sharp and focused. "You're learning, Aditya. But there's much more to learn. And not all knowledge is meant to be understood."

Aditya's heart raced. There was something Druva wasn't telling him—something important. But for now, he knew he would have to wait. The mysteries of the world were vast, and he had only just begun to scratch the surface.

With the village saved and the curse lifted, Druva turned to leave, his steps silent as always. Aditya followed, knowing that whatever lay ahead, the path would be fraught with danger, darkness, and mysteries beyond his comprehension.

But one thing was certain—he was ready to walk that path, no matter where it led.
