As soon as Kaitou heard the prompt of the system, every sign of exhaustion left of the day was blown away instantly. With a hint of anticipation and curiosity he immediately sat upright and tried to connect with the system.

'Now that it is here let's first take a look at my status window, it should after all be the most important part of the system. Status'

With just the thought, a transparent blue screen appeared in front of him.

"Okay, I guess that is more or less right. Everything that should be there, is here. Though, how am I supposed to understand the stats without any comparison?"

"Eh, that's possible? Then, yes please."

[If the User so wishes, then the stats can also be shown corresponding to the general ranks of shinobi]

"Oh, I guess, that would be more helpful to compare myself to others," answered Kaitou with a knowledgeable nod, before turning his attention back to the rest of the screen.

[The stat range for the corresponding ranks is as follows: Genin 10-30, Chūnin 31-60, Special Jōnin 61-90, Jōnin 91-150, Kage 151-200 and Super Kage 201+]

"Hmm… why is the range for Jōnin so much larger than for the other ranks? And what does the number of the Super Kage represent? Does that mean, that everything above those stats is considered in this Range?"

[The range of the Jōnin is generally larger, as the strength could normally be even further subsided, with the Elite Jōnin rank, but this is merely an unofficial rank and was therefore not included in the assessment, Host. And as for your second question, generally yes, but this rank is rarely reached by the inhabitants of this world]

"Alright, makes sense," Kaitou quickly accepted this way and turned his thoughts back to the panel, or rather to the Kekkei Genkai section.

"How can these Kekkei Genkai level up though? And what would be the result of that?"

[The level reflects the proficiency and usage of the corresponding Kekkei Genkai Host. As for what results await the improvement of them, that depends on the Kekkei Genkai itself. For example, the incomplete Sage Body (Chakra Half) could potentially evolve further into the Complete Sage Body. Though, not every Kekkei Genkai can evolve further, if there is no suitable evolution route to follow.]

"Ah, thank you, that was quite easy to understand."

"Then to the next topic, what other functions are there in the system?" asked Kaitou quite hopefully right after.

[All other functions are currently locked, Host. To unlock them you will need to complete quests in due time. The quest function will be unlocked as soon as the user makes a significant change to the original storyline.]

*sigh*

'I guess then there is nothing more to check out for now,' after a long and dejected sigh Kaitou made up his mind for now to focus on the present and to not immediately jump into the cold waters of the current period.

After finalizing his thoughts, his exhaustion kicked in again and he soon drifted to sleep.

The next day came quickly and Kaitou was soon ordered to come to his father's study. On the way Kaitou looked around as that would be his first time actually visiting his father's workspace.

After looking around for a few minutes an alarm of the system rang in his mind. A little startled but enthusiastic he quickly brought up his screen, as he had already tested if other people could see his status screen earlier that day.

The User is able to see information regarding the things he looks at. The higher the level of this skill, the more and detailed information will be accessible.]

'Sweet, so Skills can be just learned through repetitive actions it seems,' mumbled the boy silently in his mind, as he soon reached his destination.

"Father, you have called for me," after a short knock, and upon receiving an affirmative response from within, Kaitou entered the study and stood straight, in front of his father's desk.

"Kaitou, now that you're old enough to start understanding the responsibilities that come with being part of the Uzumaki clan, it's time we slowly begin your foundational education," Kazuto said, his piercing gaze resting firmly on his son. Despite the warmth of a father's pride in his tone, his words carried the weight of expectation.

Kaitou stood attentive, his small frame straight and his expression serious - despite the fact that he was only a year old. Thanks to his [Gamer's Mind], he could easily mask the bubbling curiosity and excitement within.

"Yes, Father. I'm ready to learn," Kaitou replied, his tone steady and respectful.

Kazuto's stern face softened slightly at the response. "Good. You'll first start by learning about our clan's history, traditions, and sealing techniques. Your mother and I will guide you whenever possible, but much of your education will also depend on your own diligence. Laziness has no place here, Kaitou."

"I understand," Kaitou answered with a small nod.

Kazuto leaned back in his chair, regarding his son thoughtfully. "Today, however, is not about heavy lessons. Today is about ensuring you understand the privilege of your lineage. I'll introduce you to some of the scrolls and artifacts in the study. They are treasures of the Uzumaki clan, passed down for generations. As the heir, you must be familiar with them."

Kaitou felt a surge of anticipation. The Uzumaki Clan's treasures? He'd read about the sealing arts in his past life but never imagined he'd get firsthand experience with ancient scrolls and techniques. He schooled his features, his voice calm. "I look forward to learning about them, Father."

Kazuto rose from his chair, his imposing presence filling the room. "Come with me."

Kazuto led Kaitou to a large cabinet lined with intricately carved seals that glowed faintly with chakra, that was hidden with a special mechanism inside of the wall of the office. He made a hand seal, and the locks on the cabinet clicked open, releasing a wave of subtle energy into the room. Kaitou felt a tingle run through his body - the power of the Uzumaki Clan's sealing arts.

"This," Kazuto said, opening the cabinet to reveal shelves filled with ancient scrolls, ornate tomes, and unique objects, "is a repository of some of the Uzumaki Clan's most precious knowledge. Each scroll here contains techniques that helped our clan rise to prominence as the greatest masters of Fūinjutsu."

Kaitou was thoroughly amazed by the pure quantity of the collection, without his [Gamers Mind] he would have surely lost his composure.

"These," Kazuto continued, pulling out a scroll and unfurling it partially, "are just the basics. As you grow and prove yourself, you'll have access to more advanced techniques. But remember, this knowledge is not just a privilege - it's a responsibility. Misusing these arts can lead to catastrophic consequences."

"Yes, Father. I'll be careful," Kaitou said, his voice full of sincerity.

Kazuto studied him for a moment before nodding. "Good. For now, study the seals on this scroll. It's a basic storage seal, but mastering the fundamentals is critical. Practice it with your mother's guidance."

Kaitou took the scroll reverently. His Gamer's System chimed in his mind:

'It really does work for everything,' Kaitou thought, grinning inwardly, as he glanced at the scroll.

Later, Back in His Room

Kaitou lay on his bed, the excitement of the day still coursing through him. He had successfully begun his journey into the world of sealing arts, and the system's reinforcement made it all the more thrilling.

He brought up his system window again to review his progress. The new skill was listed among his abilities, alongside his other new skill "Study".

He stared at the 'Kekkei Genkai' section once more, his thoughts drifting. The Hydrafication Technique, Adamantine Sealing Chains, the Incomplete Sage Body… there was so much potential within him. He just had to unlock it.

A slight smirk appeared on his face as he read the prompt. A ripple in history? He knew exactly what that meant - it would soon come the time, where he himself can influence history. With his knowledge of the future and the unique abilities granted by the system, he could shape events in ways that would bring him further towards his goal in this world.

With that, he drifted off to sleep, his mind filled with plans and the weight of his newfound destiny.
