After returning from his meeting with Ningguang and the chance encounter with Zhongli, Nicholas mentally checks of the list he needs to do before the Fair Lady and Childe appears in Liyue.
He returns to his office and pulls out the debt book of the Northland bank. Nicholas remembers that Tartaglia along with someone forced the owner of Yangshang Teahouse to give the Sigil of permission which the Fatui used to create the fake sigil which unleashed Osial.
Long Feiwei, that's the name. I will send one of my clones to 'persuade' him.
He calls his closest subordinate to arrange a boat to go to Guyun Stone Forest and to contact the Fatui station there.

"So this is the famous seal of Osial" Nicholas murmurs at the intricate design, even though he wasn't into wacky powers like Dottore was he could appreciate the beauty of it
Behind him stood the Fatui cicin mage, the scientist he forcibly took from Dottore's Ruin Guard lab and the corpses of the Millelith Guard.
"Olev, How much power does the sigil of permission need to release to truly release Osial"
The bald scientist hesitantly answers,"Lord Zanni, I don't think we need the real Sigils power. After you bought the sigil we were able to replicate it." He shows the fake one
"You still haven't answered my question, Olev. Last time I took away one of your fingers for disobeying me. Do you want to lose your right hand too" Nicholas calmly said.
Of course Nicholas knew that the fake sigil was enough to free Osial but has anyone stopped to think about how Osial who could match Rex Lapis blow by blow , someone who Rex Lapis couldn't kill only seal him get defeated by a house getting dropped on the head. Some might say Erosion. Nicholas might have agreed if Osial was like Azdhaha, being more ancient than Rex Lapis himself. Besides Erosion causes memory problems not losing power.
So Nicholas decided that the correct Hypothesis was that Osial wasn't fully released from his seal and he wanted to remedy that by releasing Osial and maybe his wife 'Besht'
"My lord, compared to the usual 12 Fake sigil, we only need 5 for it" Olev hesitantly answers trying not to make the Harbringer angry
5 huh, Fatui currently has 3 with them, 2 from the auction and the other from the Feiwei. Nicholas thought while scratching the cold metal surface of his delusion.
"Tell, Anastasia to keep an eye out on any news of the Sigil in the market and buy them immediately"
Nicholas touches smooth surface of the seal tracing the pattern with his hand when he is suddenly transported to a large empty space with waterfall around him
There he sees two thrones, the larger one empty while a woman with sea blue hair and blue Qipao. It didn't take much guess for Nicholas to know the woman was Besht, wife of Osial
He strides towards her maintaining a hint of respect
"Lady Besht, may I know the reason you summoned me"
Besht gives a small smile,"I heard your talk with your subordinate. I want you to seal my husband Osial" Seeing no reaction she continues. "Of course I'm willing to provide help."
"Help, how Lady Besht?" Nicholas asks her, genuinely confused. Even in the game he doesn't remember Besht only acting after Osial gets defeated.
"With my blessing of course. Like how Rex Lapis has adepti, We have Sea Kings and Krakens, though they are not that powerful compared to the adepti, they are useful enough to cause chaos and destroy something."
NIcholas fell into contemplation, and a wicked idea came to his mind. He is going to squeeze Liyue dry.

In a large Courtyard Nicholas is busy training with his sword. Unlike the other members of the Fatui, only he and Pantalone are fully human, so any chance he gets he trains his skill. Right now he is confident in taking on most enemies from the game. It's those above Childe level that will cause him problems especially the Traveller.
He looks at his palm, a tattoo of sorts that was given to him by Besht, which allows him to control most sea life. Of course the first thing he did was to drown a Liyue ship. He didn't care whose ship it was.
As he was thinking about this , one of his subordinate runs up to him
"My lord as you have predicted, our puppet, Fang Yuan was able to convince atleast half the members to use the Fatui to kill the Sea kings." He takes a deep breath then continues. "Lady Signora was able to get the Anemo Gnosis and is heading towards, while Lord Childe already arrived and has taken lodging inside the Northland bank" He hands him the report.
"Huh, have Childe do the debt cleaning work and tell him to look out for the Sigil of Permission. Since Signora is coming, book the meeting with Mr Zhongli." He hands the report back after signing it.
Nicholas looks at the sky and sighs, Canon has started and will he be able to survive the storm that is following the Traveller.
