Chapter 354: Unexpected Enemy?!
As if sensing something, Shisan suddenly looked in a random direction and stopped the ship in the middle of the air.
"Come out!" Yuan Ming and Song Liu tensed, their senses sharpened as Shisan's commanding voice echoed through the air. They glanced around, ready for any threat that might emerge.
From the shadows of a nearby cloud, a figure emerged, cloaked in darkness. Shisan's stance remained unwavering, her eyes fixed on the mysterious intruder.
"Impressive," the figure spoke, revealing herself to the group, her voice laced with mockery echoing in the air. "It's a grade 6 Flying artifact. People from some high-level clan?"
"Who are you?!" Seeing the woman they had never seen in their lives stopping their way, everyone became confused for a second. When Shisan asked sharply, the woman who was wearing nothing but red robes on her body looked at her before scanning the people behind her.
While she was looking at them, Yuan Ming and Song Liu were also looking at her. Although she seemed similar to Shisan in age, there was a hint of calmness and maturity in her eyes that exceeded Shisan's.
"Brown robes, small flaming pill logo... those robes…." Shisan's eyes trembled as she looked at the woman in disbelief. "You are from one of the five righteous sects… The Phoenix Alchemy Pavilion…."
Hearing her words, Song Liu was confused, wondering why the woman was stopping them in their way, but Yuan Ming could tell that the woman did not have any good intentions in stopping them.
"Ho~, you can tell that. So you are definitely someone from a powerful family, and besides, you are this strong at this age." The woman did not look surprised or even bothered that anyone knew her identity.
"Why are you stopping our way if you know that?" Shisan asked sharply.
"Why, you ask?" The woman tilted her head as a huge cauldron appeared beneath her. Sitting on the cauldron, she added, "Just think of it as your bad luck. I was out on a mission from the sect leader and I was in a bad mood that I failed it. So now you all will have to die to make me feel better. As for you being someone from a powerful clan…"
*Woosh!*
Suddenly, the mysterious woman made her move, the cauldron beneath her glowed and spewed flames in that direction. Seeing the wave of flames, Shisan's eyes widened before she slammed her hands together.
*BANG!*
The whole ship glowed before a huge insignia appeared in the air blocking the attack and stopping the flames from burning the ship.
"Stay on guard here, she is in the golden core realm. I will go deal with her, take care of the ship." Without looking back, Shisan disappeared from the dock and appeared in the air behind the woman. She slashed her knives down at the woman with all of her might.
Yuan Ming moved closer to his junior sister to protect her as she was still weaker than him.
"As for you being someone from a powerful family, who can blame me when there is no evidence." Shisan, whose blade was about to reach her neck, saw the woman turning in her direction and backed away in an instant feeling her instincts telling her something was wrong with the woman.
"Hmm~ you have some nice instincts." She replied as the cauldron beneath her stopped glowing. "I wonder what you had to go through to get such good instincts."
Hearing those words, Shisan's grip on her blades tightened unconsciously.

Back on the ship, Yuan Ming looked at the two women floating in the air with a serious look on his face. He could not even see their movements from the place he stood.
"Ughh! What's happening…" While their attention was fixed on the battle, they heard a groaning sound. They turned around to see Tian Heng waking up from his unconscious state.
His major wounds were already healed by now and all that was left were some scars and scratches here and there.
"Where are we?" he looked around in confusion and asked again. Yuan Ming sighed before filling the boy in on the details.
….
"She is lying." Tian Heng looked at the woman in the sky with a serious look on his face. "No matter how confident she is in dealing with us, there is no way she would act like this when all the major sects are on guard against the demon sect."
"You mean she has some other purpose in stopping us?" Yuan Ming asked with narrowed eyes.
"That or she is a maniac who loves to kill people but there is no way someone like that will be kept in a righteous sect." Being the prince of a royal family, Tian Heng knew that image was the biggest concern of every organization.
Enjoy new adventures from empire
Be it a righteous organization or a demonic one, they all care for their image.
"Do you think she is hiding her identity?" Yuan Ming looked back at him and asked with a firm voice.
"To be able to wear the robes of the major like that is no small thing. She is either really from the sect or is too confident in her strength," he shook his head in reply before adding, "I wonder just who she is."
"You don't have to worry about her." The three of them froze hearing an unfamiliar voice. Yuan Ming was the first person to react; he turned around and saw a young woman, similar to their age, wearing the same robes as the woman standing against the edge of the ship.
"How did you get inside the barrier?" Sensing the cultivation of the peak foundation stage from the woman, Yuan Ming clenched the handle of the swords and asked.
"I have been here for a long time." A look of ridicule appeared on her face as she looked down at him, "Just how weak you are not to sense me being here?"
Yuan Ming became agitated at her provocation but Tian Heng stopped him before he could move.
Shisan looked at the young woman on the ship from far up in the sky and used his qi sense and look for other people who could be hiding on the ship. She was so focused on the mysterious woman that she did not even notice the girl.
"Ignoring me in the middle of the battle?" hearing the voice of the woman, Shisan looked back and her eyes widened, "How rude!"
*BOOM!*
