Chapter 359: Asad
In the meantime, while the others were hurrying with their Boss Raid, Asad Seife and his team decided to take a 10-minute break even if they easily finished the first stage of the event.
After all, he noticed that the stage ranking was based on how fast you eliminated the Boss Zombie and not how fast you entered that Stage. Of course, there could be a special reward if they entered without having a 10-minute break, but he believed that this break would allow them to have a proper look at their rewards and reconsider their options.
As expected, as soon as they saw the SWAT Uniform, they immediately decided to change their current set of clothes. They wouldn't be able to notice this if they just continued with the next Stage immediately.
"This set is a lot better than I thought…' Asad thought as he realized how great his defense had increased compared to when he was still using the Dark Magician Set.

Though that set grants him an additional 300 Spirit Points, he wouldn't have a decent defense. It would literally decrease the physical and magical defense of his body, and he'd probably get killed once he got tackled by a strong Zombie.
Perhaps, if he was in an advantageous or hidden position, he would be confident in putting on that set, but this time, he felt that this SWAT Uniform was perfect for the Boss Raid.
As soon as they entered the second Stage, they saw a formidable Armored Tyrant Zombie as the Boss in the Second Stage of the event.
Asad, the Rank 2 Survivor and a Necromancer, quickly analyzed the strength of the Armored Tyrant Zombie.
At this moment, Asad has 2,800 Spirit Points. He believed that he had the highest number of Spirit Points after being able to find a treasure trove of Spirit Enhancement Bottles and Spirit Breakthrough Potions before.
Anyway, Zombie Warriors would cost him 50 SP each, while Skeleton Knight costs 300 Spirit Points. As for the Lich, his strongest summon, they actually cost 1,000 Spirit Points! The good thing about the Lich was the fact that they could summon their own undead creatures.
Anyway, Asad didn't spend all of his Spirit Points and left 600 Points as his reserve.
He only summoned six Zombie Warriors, three Skeletal Knights, and one Lich at his command, spending a total of 2,200 Spirit Points. Anyway, he had enough Spirit Stones to recover his Spirit Points for the next Stage.
"We're only facing one opponent this time… However, it's actually a Tyrant Zombie… and Armored at that."
"They do not have the best agility… We can do this…"
Elias and Mira said.
They were Asad's two teammates and were equally unique.
The first was Elias, who possessed the Talent called Plant Friend. Elias could grow plants with remarkable speed, though his abilities seemed less useful in direct combat against the heavily armored Tyrant Zombie. This was certainly the reason why he was able to group with a strong Survivor.
With such talent, everyone believed, even the people in his clan, that he should be carried in this Boss Raid in order to survive.
However, he wasn't as useless as it seemed. He actually carried special seeds that could grow inside the body of a zombie, potentially turning the tide of battle! It was his trump card!
On the other hand, the second teammate was Mira, a Ranger with exceptional skill in archery. Her skills were as good as those of the Elven Rangers of Shane's Shelter.
Mira was confident that she could hit targets with pinpoint accuracy, even from great distances.
In a few moments, the arena became tense as the Armored Tyrant Zombie approached them; its massive form was certainly intimidating, but thankfully, Asad's undead summons were incapable of feeling fear!
Asad quickly assessed the situation and issued commands to his undead minions.
"Zombie Warriors, engage and distract! Skeletal Knights, flank, and harass! Lich, don't waste your man with summoning spells and support them with dark magic!" Asad's voice was calm and authoritative, his minions moved to obey his commands.
Lich was actually the only undead summons he had that he didn't need to command since they had a certain level of intelligence. However, he still reminded the Lich not to summon some undead creatures just in case it would waste its limited mana.
Soon Zombie Warriors charged forward and their decayed bodies collided with the Tyrant Zombie.
Clank! Clank! Clank!
With this clash, everyone confirmed that the invisible shield of the Armored Tyrant was tough.
Nonetheless, though their attacks were largely ineffective against its armor, they succeeded in drawing its attention. The Skeletal Knights moved swiftly, striking at the Tyrant's joints and weak points, while the Lich then cast several dark spells and confirmed the destruction of the Tyrant's invisible shield!
"Elias, now's your chance!" Asad called out.
Elias nodded, his hands moved swiftly as he planted the special seeds into the ground. With a surge of his Talent, the seeds sprouted and grew, their roots snaking towards the Tyrant Zombie. The roots found their way into the cracks and crevices of the Zombie's armor, burrowing inside its decayed flesh.
Mira, positioned at a distance, drew her bow and nocked an arrow.
She took a deep breath as she focused on the Tyrant Zombie's exposed areas. With a swift release, her arrow flew true, striking the creature's eye!
Bang!
It was then followed by an explosion!
The combined efforts of Asad's minions, Elias's plants, and Mira's arrows began to take their toll on the Armored Tyrant Zombie.
Elias then continuously used the Spirit Stones that Asad lent him to ensure that the Plants would not stop growing.
The roots inside its body grew rapidly, causing internal damage and slowing its movements. The Skeletal Knights continued their relentless assault, exploiting the openings created by the plants.
Asad saw an opportunity and transferred his Spiritual Energy or Spirit Points to his Summon.
"Lich, unleash your full power!" he commanded.
