Gojo Satoru: The Strongest Sorcerer Among Exorcists

Chapter 14: Chapter 13: Gojo Satoru: "If I give you my social media account, what will I use?"

"Ka…mi?" (God?)

Staring at the devastated land below, as though it had been cleansed by a missile strike, Nino Nakano nervously swallowed, her body trembling slightly.

Her fear wasn't directed at Gojo Satoru himself, but rather at the sheer scale of destruction he had caused.

This kind of power… it was far beyond what a human should possess.

It felt like witnessing a walking natural disaster, or perhaps, a god from mythology descending upon the mortal world.

Taking a deep breath to steady her emotions, Nino turned her head, intending to ask when they could return to the real world.

But as she glanced over, the sight before her left her dumbfounded.

"Hey, hey, can you still hear me? I think you can, right? Well, assuming you're still alive…"

Gojo was crouched down, holding a twig he had picked up from somewhere, poking at the decapitated True Snake-Class Kegare's head on the ground.

"And let me tell you, going around causing trouble this late at night…"

He seemed to be giving the Kegare a lecture.

As he continued to rant, his tone became increasingly annoyed, and he began slapping the head a few times for emphasis.

Apparently, that wasn't satisfying enough, so he started kicking it around like a soccer ball.

He looked like an oversized child, and the scene was absurdly comical.

Seeing this, Nino's perception of Gojo underwent a complete shift.

Initially, when he had saved her, she had been overwhelmed by gratitude and a flutter of girlish admiration. After witnessing his immense power, she had felt awe and a touch of fear.

But now…

She realized that he wasn't some untouchable being.

He was just a regular person—with a surprising childish streak.

"Pfft—hahaha!"

Unable to control her expression, Nino burst out laughing.

Oops!

Her hands flew to her face as her cheeks flushed red with embarrassment.

Why did I laugh out loud like that!?

Hearing her laugh, Gojo froze mid-motion.

"Stare—"

Turning to look at her, he straightened up, his body stiff.

Even though his eyes were hidden behind his blindfold, Nino could swear he was giving her a look of exaggerated grievance.

Quickly pretending to cough, she looked off into the distance, whistling softly as if to say, "It wasn't me. I didn't laugh."

Satisfied with her quick recovery, Gojo nodded approvingly. Deciding to stop playing with the Kegare's head, he gave it a sharp kick.

The head soared into the air before exploding mid-flight, a pentagram briefly flashing where it had been.

"Let's go, young lady. I'll take you back to the real world."

Hands in his pockets, Gojo yawned as he spoke, his tone casual.

I'm starting to feel sleepy… Time for a bath and then bed.

Back to the real world?!

Hearing those words, Nino's eyes lit up. Forgetting all pretense of composure, she ran toward him excitedly.

Stopping in front of him, she hesitated for a moment before wrapping her arms around him in a grateful hug.

Her face, smudged with dirt, turned red from the warmth of the gesture—though the grime on her cheeks mostly hid her blush.

Gojo didn't seem to mind at all.

Using his immense curse energy, he forcibly tore open a rift between the real world and Magano, stepping through with Nino in tow.

As for the traditional Onmyoji charms typically required to open such gates?

Gojo scoffed. "Charms? Too much of a hassle."

About ten minutes after they left…

A figure cloaked in black, wearing a mask, appeared atop a high-rise building.

"Gojo… Satoru."

Gazing down at the ruined ground and sensing the lingering cursed energy in the air, the masked figure fell into deep thought.

If they didn't eliminate Gojo, the Kegare would never stand a chance against the Onmyoji.

His plans would never come to fruition.

Back in the real world, Nino stood outside her apartment complex.

"This is your building, right? Well, I'll be heading off then."

Using his Limitless Technique, Gojo had instantly transported the two of them to her home as she had described it.

"Yes, this is it," Nino replied, her voice soft.

Looking at the familiar streets, her eyes became misty.

I'm home.

"Alright, see you around, young lady," Gojo said with a wave, already turning to leave.

"Wait!"

Nino suddenly grabbed his arm.

"Could… could I get your social media account?"

Her voice trembled, and her heart pounded in her chest.

This was the first time she had ever asked a boy for his contact information.

Her vivid blue eyes stared intently at him, watching as his expression shifted to one of mild surprise and hesitation.

"My social media account? If I give you mine, what will I use? Registering a new account is such a hassle…"

Huh?

Nino froze, her mind blank.

Wait, is it my fault for phrasing it weirdly? Or is this guy just dense?

What I meant was, can we exchange contacts, not start a philosophical debate!

Struggling to keep her expression neutral, Nino took a deep breath, ready to explain.

But before she could speak, Gojo held out his phone.

"Here, just add me."

"Okay!"

Her face broke into a radiant smile, her earlier frustration forgotten.

It was clear he had been teasing her all along.
