Gojo Satoru: The Strongest Sorcerer Among Exorcists

Chapter 2: Chapter 1: Umaru

Tokyo, Chiba Prefecture.

Sobu High School.

Although its facilities and curriculum might not match up to the prestigious Shuchiin Academy nearby, Sobu High is known as a top-ranking school. Unlike typical aristocratic institutions catering to families of high social status, Sobu High admits students purely based on merit.

With one of the highest academic deviation scores, Sobu High rivals Shuchiin Academy in reputation and even slightly surpasses it in student enrollment.

The cherry blossoms blooming along the streets herald the arrival of a new school year. Sobu High welcomes the start of another academic term.

Graduates from the senior year have moved on, while the incoming freshmen embark on their high school journey.

Along the streets, groups of first-year students—most clad in Sobu High's iconic uniforms—walk together, chatting and laughing. Passersby can't help but smile at the lively scenes of youthful exuberance.

Inside a luxury apartment…

Knock knock—

The sound of knocking came from the door.

"Umaru, wake up. Today's the start of your second year, and you've got class placement. Don't oversleep!"

Gojo Satoru, scratching his messy white hair, knocked on the door with a resigned expression.

Judging by the situation, it was clear his younger sister hadn't listened to him last night and had secretly played games again.

And if she was gaming, it was likely another all-nighter.

"Mm… mm… okay," came a drowsy, kitten-like response from inside the room.

Hearing the faint "okay," Gojo's expression turned blank, and he opened the door without hesitation.

After living with her for so long, how could he not know what her "okay" actually meant?

It was obviously just an attempt to brush him off so she could keep sleeping.

Stepping inside, he was greeted by the faint, unique scent of a young girl's room, but that wasn't enough to deter him from his goal.

With practiced ease, he flipped the light switch. The dark room was instantly illuminated.

The sudden brightness caused the hamster pajama-clad Umaru on the bed to flinch. With a groan, she shrank her head under the blanket, rolled herself into a ball, and wrapped herself up tightly.

"Umaru, if you don't get up now, I'll set you on fire," Gojo said suddenly, his voice cold.

From somewhere, he produced a windproof lighter and even flicked it on for effect.

The sight of the flame and the sound of the lighter startled Umaru.

Her "rolled-up-ball" state unraveled instantly. In less than a second, she sat up straight, staring in horror at both her brother and the lighter in his hand.

"Onii-chan, are you a devil? Who threatens to burn their own sister?!"

"Ah, sorry, sorry. It's just that it's the first day of school, and you wouldn't get up. I had no choice."

"Stare—"

Umaru shot him a resentful look.

Though he sounded apologetic, the mischievous smile on his face made her fists itch.

Rubbing her hands together to suppress the urge to punch him, she turned her head away with a pout.

"Fine, I'm getting up, you stupid Onii-chan."

"Good. Breakfast is ready, so go wash up. Today's an important day for you."

Yawning, Gojo turned to leave the room. But as he glanced at the corner, his eyes caught the computer screen still lit up, displaying a "game cleared" message.

He shifted his gaze back to Umaru, who now looked visibly awkward. Without saying anything more, he switched off the computer and left the room.

Bang—

The sound of the door closing brought a sense of relief to Umaru.

"Phew, at least he didn't lecture me further," she muttered, stretching her arms lazily as she prepared to get out of bed.

A new school year. You've got this, Gojo Umaru!

In the living room…

Gojo Satoru leisurely ate a plate of Western-style desserts. Beside him were two cups of tea and another plate of sweets.

As a self-proclaimed connoisseur of sweets, he needed his morning dose of sugar.

"Ah, delicious," he said, savoring the taste.

After a moment of enjoyment, his expression grew calm.

"It's been a year since I crossed into this world," he murmured, gazing into the reflection of his face in the tea.

Yes, he was a traveler.

In fact, this wasn't his first time traveling to another world. This was his second transmigration.

The first time, he found himself in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen, becoming—or rather, replacing—Gojo Satoru.

Armed with memories of his past life, he dominated the Jujutsu Kaisen world.

Tragedies like the Star Plasma Vessel Incident and Suguru Geto's downfall never occurred to him.

He single-handedly intercepted and obliterated countless curses.

As for Sukuna, he had followed the plan: ensuring Yuji Itadori consumed all the fingers, leading to a climactic battle against the ancient King of Curses.

The result? Neither could defeat the other.

In the end, Gojo sealed Sukuna once again.

After resolving every issue in the Jujutsu Kaisen world, Gojo decided to take a vacation in Kyoto. During a routine use of Limitless to teleport, he suddenly lost consciousness.

When he woke, he found himself in another world—this chaotic one.

Here, he realized his strength seemed to grow endlessly, as though some limiter on his body had been removed. He even worried at one point if he'd lose his hair like Saitama.

Fortunately, that didn't happen. His powers—including the Six Eyes and his cursed energy—only grew stronger with time.

Even more bizarrely, this world gave him an established identity, along with a non-blood-related younger sister.

Umaru. Gojo Umaru.

(Note: The protagonist replaces Gojo Satoru from infancy, effectively becoming him.)
