Chapter 1042: Students came together for a moment
From MC's Perspective:
A few moments later, I returned to my usual self and looked at the dean. "The Guest has gone. I can talk him now," I said in my heart.
I asked, "Dean, are there any academies that teach Gravity Magic?"
The old man sighed internally. That had been an intense meeting. He'd been on edge the entire time. Now, having heard my question, he nodded before returning to his seat. "Sit," he told Vincent Carey.
Hearing this, I sat opposite him.
"You have a wonderful opportunity to see a wider world," the dean said with a smile. "The Super Large Nation's academy institutions are many times larger and more powerful than ours. So I'm sure you can learn about Gravity Magic there."
"Dean, does that mean I will be graduating from this academy?" I asked.
The dean's eyes flickered. He knew the Magic Lord could overhear their conversation now that the powerful barrier was gone. "I'm not clear about the details," he replied cautiously. "Once it comes, I will inform you. For the time being, keep it secret."
I nodded in understanding. We spoke for a few more minutes before I left the room. Having been granted special permission, I was able to leave on my own.
The old dean wiped sweat beads from his forehead. He was certain that some of their conversation had been overheard by the Magic Lords. But the information wouldn't remain hidden for long. He believed the Mage Union Messenger's recent visit would create a lot of buzz.
Meanwhile, I returned to my dorm room with determination. I knew people might be gathered outside the Sub-Taboo Hall, so it wasn't the right time to go there.
Instead, I decided to text Senior Gilbert and Carolina about meeting that evening to share the news. Although the dean had advised me to keep the opportunity a secret, I didn't see any harm in telling them.
Soon, I reached my dorm room. After entering, I shut the door and collapsed comfortably onto the bed. Lying there, I began texting Senior Carolina and Senior Gilbert.

Dark League:
The leader, Old Witch Arika, received an important report from the Capital City. It arrived continuously, surprising her at first. But after finishing it, she understood why.
"Someone from the Mage Union has visited the Yellow River Academy," she read, her voice low. "They arrived in a Mega White Aircraft, causing fear and panic among the people."
Her face contorted into a hideous mask of anger. Clearly, she was displeased with the news. It meant they were too late to act. Their target might have already met with the Mage Union ambassador. Without gathering more intelligence, she was unwilling to proceed with any plans.
She had high-level wizards on the ground, ready to take risks to eliminate the threat. However, this new development caused her concern.
Previously, she'd believed there would be ample time before the Mage Union intervened, giving them a chance to kill Vincent Carey before he left the academy.
But now, she realized they'd encountered another obstacle. She issued new orders to her members, forbidding them from carrying out their mission until she gave the green light.

Weapon Palace Academy:
The Elders of the Weapon Palace Academy were shocked. Instead of joy, their faces mirrored concern. While the rest of the Weapon Palace students buzzed about the Mage Union airship and the white-clad wizard, they were unaware of the serious trouble their academy faced.
The Elders had planned a wait-and-watch approach while they reached out to other Magic Lords. This news was a bombshell. The Magic Lords from their academy might not be able to support their plan going forward. Recognizing the gravity of the situation, the Headmaster called for an emergency meeting.

Royal Force Hall:
Like the Weapon Palace Academy, the elders of the Royal Academy were stunned by the news. As part of a government institution, this development held even greater significance for them.
They were uncertain about the nature of the opportunity Vincent Carey had received. If it was substantial, they could no longer afford to offend him.
However, they also considered the possibility of future retribution if Carey harbored resentment. Concerned about the implications, the Dean called for an urgent meeting.

News of the Mage Union's visit quickly spread to other organizations across the country, with varying impacts.
Neutral parties remained unaffected but developed a newfound respect for the Yellow River Academy, anticipating its potential rise to greater power.
They knew to keep a watchful eye on its development.
Allied forces, on the other hand, were undeniably pleased. Any increase in the Yellow River Academy's reputation would indirectly benefit them.
As the news spread like wildfire, Vincent Carey's name once again became a familiar topic of conversation. The Wizard Heart Competition had already introduced him to the public, making his name even more recognizable now.

Yellow River Academy,
More wizard students became aware of the news, particularly those from the Bloodline Hall and Elemental Hall, who were visibly annoyed. The opportunity had clearly been granted to their rival hall, the Sub-Taboo Hall, which was poised to gain even more momentum. Discover more content at empire
Students believed the academy would favor Vincent Carey more in the future, so they concealed their anger and jealousy. Even those who had been harmed by him a few days ago were hesitant to hold a grudge, understanding it would not be in their best interest.

Taboo Hall:
Mike Curtis was equally surprised by the news. When he saw the gigantic aircraft hovering above the academy entrance, his eyes sparkled with interest.
He also saw images of Vincent Carey standing with the Dean and the Mage Union Ambassador.
Curious about what had transpired, a flash of jealousy crossed his eyes before disappearing. "What a lucky b@stard," he grumbled under his breath.
He knew the opportunity must be significant and realized he might currently have a slight edge over Vincent, but he sensed that could change rapidly.
"He won't tell me, even if I ask," he thought. "But I think Alicia will find out soon." He knew women had a knack for gathering information.
