Greatest Streamer System

As the next day arrived, Max wondered again. What should he do to make the concert good? He realized that it lacked one crucial element.

"The MC."

The concert wasn't all about the singer. It needed someone else to make it more exciting between the songs, and that job fell to the MC.

Actually, finding one wasn't his job. His job was only to support Peter to find someone he could consult with regarding the concert, and he had finished that last night. Still, it wouldn't hurt to ask. Who knew whether that siscon already knew they needed an MC or not?

[Breeze: Have you found the MC for the concert?]

Because it was still early in the morning, Peter was still in his apartment and wasn't busy. The reply came fast because of that.

[StoneSword: I have found two.]

'Oh? That's nice.' Max thought, surprised by his efficiency. 'He probably blows money to get them. I wonder who they are?'

And thus he asked, only to be surprised by the next reply.

[StoneSword: StoneSword and Breeze, two popular streamers.]

"…"

Max looked at the hologram screen, speechless.

"What the fuck is this bastard thinking?!" He shouted loudly when he recovered.

He, as the MC? Was that guy trying to ruin the concert?!

Lily peeked from the bedroom looking lethargic. She had just woken up from sleeping.

"What happened, Max?" She asked, rubbing her eyes as she approached him.

Raising his head, Max answered, "N-Nothing. Go back to sleep, Lily. You have a long day later. Have as much rest as you want. We stayed quite late talking to Peachy last night, so you must be still tired, right?"

"Un… I'll do that. Night."

"Have a nice sleep."

With that, Lily retreated to the bedroom again and he sighed.

'StoneSword must be joking. Yeah, that guy surely did that to joke with me. His joke isn't funny, though. But that's as expected from someone like him.' He thought, trying to be positive about it.

[Breeze: Hahaha, that's a nice joke, brother. So, who are the real MCs? Is it Evelyn? Or could it be the famous female artist and comedian Priya? Or probably that girl, Ferin? She will liven Lily's concert for sure!]

Max sent the message, hoping that Peter was still joking. He even added a joke, telling Peter that Ferin, the troublemaker, would liven the concert. That girl was just too random. He couldn't imagine her being a good MC.

However…

[StoneSword: Good idea. Let's make it 3 MC and invite Ferin too.]

… It wasn't a joke.

"I know that he realizes what this means. But…" Max sighed, realizing that Peter was serious.

It became less of a concert and became something like a close family and friend event that got streamed to many people. He couldn't comprehend Peter's way of thinking. Was he that desperate to become one of the main faces in the concert? Just because it was held on his birthday?!

"What a madman."

There was no other way to convince him. All Max could do was learn how to MC correctly and not mess it up.

"Well, let's forget about that now. I have to stream another fun game today. At least until the concert is over."

Today, he had already chosen the game to stream. It was the type of game to release stress and could be played with a viewer.

Yesterday, his plan to use his autograph for bait was a great success. Many people tagged him on Strike and boasted about getting his autograph.

As a result…

"Good morning, guys! Hahaha, we're back again. I want to introduce the game I will play today with you guys, but wow... Seriously, 25K viewers? What's the occasion, guys? We don't play a story-focused game like usual and just a simple arcade game."

And the number of viewers keeps increasing even now.

Obviously, Max was a bit surprised. Even though he knew that his viewers would increase after he gave them a bit of fan service, he didn't think it would increase this much. To the point they created a baseless rumor about him giving an autograph to the viewers who could beat him.

'I underestimate their enthusiasm. I should do this more often.'

But first, he had to fix the misunderstanding. Of course, with a little boasting.

"I never said I would give my autograph to those who managed to beat me. I bet a lot of you guys will be unable to, seeing that I am the greatest of all time."

— Nah, you're the second greatest. Atlas is the greatest of all time

— We don't think you're. Even with LilyPixel or White Lily, you're still the second-greatest

— I think Atlas is the main protagonist of this world instead of you, Breeze.

— Accept your fate, second place.

It backfired. But that didn't stop him.

"Heh, that doesn't matter. I am still the greatest here." He smirked, "Anyway, I never said that I would give my autograph to those who beat me. I will participate in this game, of course. But you will also fight your fellow viewers. Those who get 3 consecutive wins will get my autograph."

A challenge. Max decided to sell his autograph a bit more expensive after he realized how much his viewers wanted it for themselves.
