Harry Potter Enshrouded

Early morning on the day of the feast

Amidst the night, through the dark, candlelit passages of Hogwarts, there lay a cloaked figure. The figure's turban shimmering under the moonlight as he stood in front of a wall located deep inside the Hogwarts dungeons. He had discovered this wall during one of his clandestine explorations. "Open sesame," he chanted as a door magically appeared on the wall. This was one of the secret rooms that the serpent had told him about.

An hour ago, he had gone to the secret passage behind the hunchback witch to collect an orb. Now the time had arrived for him to extract the glorious blue orb that would unleash the hidden darkness. Soon, he stepped into the hidden chamber that was warded with intricately carved protection runes and deposited the orb onto a runic circle before sharply stepping back.

He raised his wand, casting an ancient spell as runic patterns began forming in the air and a dazzling yellow beam of light crashed onto the orb. The orb started mutating, and a burst of light came through, blinding everything in sight. The dispersion of light revealed a long fifteen-meter creature that looked like an amalgamation of a centipede, scorpion, and a butterfly. It opened its mouth, revealing its macabre maw, before letting out a terrifying shriek. Just as it seemed like everything was coming to an end, the protection runes came into action. A monolith-sized luminous beam that pierced through the very heavens landed on the creature restraining it. The creature's screech softened due to the impact, and it soon lost its consciousness. By this time, colossal chains had materialized, restraining the creature.

The released creature was an ancient Chimavorax. It was not of this world and was born of ancient and volatile magic. There had only been one record of this entire species within the last 2000 years. 

Meanwhile, the perpetrator of this incident meticulously erased any traces of himself before quietly exiting the room. He now had complete control over the creature. All he had to do now was wreak devastation during the Halloween feast.

Halloween Feast

The sudden announcement had spread chaos amongst the students. Murmurs floated around as the students lined up in nervous anticipation.

Just as the students were lining up, a colossal shriek that terrified the very souls of everybody suddenly erupted.

"Let's go, everybody, said Dumbledore.

All the teachers immediately hurried towards the dungeons, leaving Professor Flitwick in charge of guiding the students to their dormitories.

"That did not sound like a troll," muttered Adrian. "We all are going to be in big trouble today. Thankfully, Hermione is not in the bathroom like the original like the original."

He lined up alongside his fellow nervous Slytherins—they looked paralyzed with dread as though the world was ending.

Malfoy shivered.Adrian, do you think we'll all be okay?"

"I think Dumbledore should be able to handle it. He is the greatest wizard of this generation."Adrian's answer brought a speck of hope for most of the Slytherins.

On the way back to the common room, the Slytherins experienced something unheard of. The beautiful candlelit corridors of Hogwarts had faded into obsolescence. Glasses remain shattered on the floor, the walls smeared and burnt, and the smell of sulfur lingered within the air. It barely felt as though Hogwarts was going to be able to hold on.

Professor's POV

The professors soon discovered a glimpse of the creature on the Hogwarts grounds. Their path to finding this creature so far had remained unforgettable. On their way, they had seen the unimaginable wreckage brought upon by this creature. As soon as the professors got closer to the creature, they sensed a gargantuan amount of magic power from it.

Dumbledore's warning came soon after."Stand by, everybody; this is no ordinary creature."

By this time, the warning had come too late, as in an instant, the ravaging creature spotted them. The hideous being alone bought the creeps amongst everybody's heart."How could something like this exist?" muttered Snape. It was too late to ponder anything right now as the creature let out a titanic screech before lunging towards them, swinging its pole blade. 

"Protego Diabolica," chanted a serious Dumbledore, and out came a huge blue barrier that successfully stopped the creature's pincers.

The unsuccessful attempt frustrated the creature. Before anybody could predict its next move, the creature leaped into the air, revealing its gorgeous, glowing red stinger. It then slammed its magical stinger on the floor.

"Move back, everybody. I, Albus Dumbledore, within the decree of the Headmaster, hereby declare that the anti-apparition wards of Hogwarts be suspended until the course of this battle."

Everybody hurriedly apparated away. The previous location they had been standing on was decaying. It seemed like the creature used a form of decay magic.

The battle continued with Dumbledore using his signature firestorm spell, to which the creature responded with its decay magic. This was a battle that only the Headmaster could fight. If one were to gauge this creature's individual strength, then it would not be far off Voldemort.

In the Ministry

The towering fireplaces within the Ministry of Magic's Atrium roared to life as a panicked emerald flare erupted. A parchment flew out, carried by the enchanted flames, landing unceremoniously on the polished floor. It bore the seal of Hogwarts and was marked "URGENT."

Within moments the assistant to the department read as his face suddenly paled, "Merlin's beard," he muttered, clutching the parchment as he hurried toward his supervisor's office. "A magical creature breach... at Hogwarts!"

The chain reaction did not take long, as within moments the entire department was in uproar. Frenzied gasps echoed throughout the hallway as shock spread like wildfire.

"Something's been unleashed in the dungeons," a gruff wizard barked, slamming his desk. "Dumbledore himself sent a. A creature more dangerous than a troll and unidentifiable? We'll need to investigate this immediately."
