Harry potter:Dark lord

Chapter 3: Chapter 3 Who says you can’t become the Dark Lord if you do good dee

Tom stood before Robert, feeling as if needles were pricking his entire body.

The psychological pressure Robert exerted was overwhelming.

He cautiously glanced at Robert's face and said, "Perhaps my name is too common. Many people are called Tom, so you think my name sounds familiar..."

As Tom spoke, a hint of disgust flashed in his eyes. He truly despised his mediocre name, feeling that his unique talents set him apart from those ordinary individuals also named Tom. The mere thought of sharing his name with them made him feel ill.

"It doesn't matter if you have an ordinary name, Tom. If you become powerful and terrifying enough, your name will naturally become a taboo. How can a name that no one dares to utter be considered ordinary?"

Tom watched as Robert removed his hand from his shoulder and swallowed hard. In Robert's presence, he felt exposed, as if all his thoughts were laid bare. This sense of being seen through made him both terrified and angry.

But... to make his own name a taboo?

Tom pondered Robert's words carefully, his pupils gradually contracting, and his breathing becoming slightly rapid.

'Can I really achieve this?'

Robert's words had undeniably struck a chord with him. He suddenly felt that using his rare talent to bully ordinary people was undignified. No wonder Robert despised him.

However, since Robert could improve his abilities through practice, why couldn't he?

In Tom's view, the reason he lost face today was entirely due to his lack of practice. As long as he trained diligently, he believed he could surpass the pretentious individual before him.

"Just wait, I will definitely..."

Tom lowered his head slightly, his eyes flickering. He was contemplating how to deal with Robert and glanced at him cautiously, only to meet Robert's half-smiling eyes, sending a chill down his spine.

'Damn! What does that look mean? Why does it feel like he knows everything I'm thinking? No... Impossible!'

Unbeknownst to Tom, as a time traveler, Robert knew more about Tom's life and deeds than Tom himself, making it easy for him to understand his thoughts.

Robert smiled again and said gently, "My name is also very common. I'm Robert. Oh, according to your custom, it should be Robert Li. Of course, I don't mind if you call me Robert directly."

'But I do mind you calling me Tom!'

Tom screamed angrily in his heart while struggling to maintain a submissive expression.

He seemed to be born with this ability to disguise himself.

"There was a misunderstanding today, Rob... I mean... Sir."

Tom didn't dare to address Robert by name.

Even though he kept telling himself that Robert was just pretending, the oppressive aura from this man made Tom feel powerless.

At the same time, a glimmer of enlightenment emerged in his heart.

It turns out that as long as you are strong enough and instill fear, others won't even dare to mention your name!

In other words, making your name a taboo is truly feasible!

'One person is enough to make the name a taboo! And this person... is me! It can only be me!'

'Perhaps, I can find a way to learn something from him, and then...'

A barely perceptible red light flashed in Tom's eyes again.

The subtle changes in Tom's expression did not escape Robert's notice. He knew very well that Tom was not someone who would remain subordinate for long.

There was no doubt that Tom would find ways to retaliate for today's events!

However, Robert still allowed Tom to leave his room safely.

On one hand, he didn't want Tom to die in his room and cause unnecessary trouble.

On the other hand, the living Tom was still useful to Robert.

Most importantly, Robert knew that Dumbledore would personally deliver the admission letter to Tom...

Robert also wanted to witness the famous scene where Dumbledore burned Tom's wardrobe.

After Tom left, Robert closed the door again. He looked at the broken door lock and pressed it lightly with his left hand.

Since he knew that the power he held was magic, and he remembered the spells from the novels and movies he had read before traveling, there was no reason not to try!

"Reparo!"

As soon as he finished speaking, the door lock hanging on the door frame made a clicking sound and gradually repaired itself.

Robert looked at the repaired door lock, which still had some obvious cracks, and felt a little uncertain.

He remembered that in addition to spells, magic also involved gestures, pauses in syllables, etc., so perhaps his spell did not work perfectly, otherwise, there would be no cracks left.

However, Robert was not in a hurry about this and put the spell aside for the time being.

Because in addition to learning what kind of world this was, he had also activated a system that he hadn't had time to explore.

Thinking of this, Robert tried to call upon the system that had just been activated in his mind.
