~ding, ding, ding~

The stupid alarm wakes me up from my enjoyable yet impossible dream, i was minutes away from saying yes to The Shawn Mendes.

I sat up,stopped the alarm and got up for another meaningless day in my life.

I looked out my window and as expected, a pretty looking blondie came out of the house next door, fixing her bra and what not. its become a tradition but who was i to spend another second criticizing him.

I got dressed in my usual white tees and black overall and addidas, put my hair in a messy bun and i was pretty much done, no makeup. I went downstairs to see the welcoming faces of my lovely family...SIKE.

My dad left my mum when i was only 10 and by now, i pretty much forgot his face while my mum tried to, she was broken for a very long time and she had the habit of hiding it but i saw through her. 3 Years later, she married Mr. Williams with his step daughter, Maddison.

Besides maddison's rude and unwelcoming behaviour toward me, this was the closest thing i had towards a happy home after my dad left, my mum was smiling again and Mr. Williams adored her but that only lasted for a year and a half, just like any other business tycoon,he put his career before his family and was hardy ever around which made mum feel insecure but this time she wasnt hiding her emotions instead she hid herself completely, the only time i saw my mum was when she excourted mr.williams to the airport and that was 3 months ago,the only person who got to see her frequently was Mrs. Adlair, she was our house's caretaker and an angel in human form. she and her daughter A.K.A my bestfriend, leah, were the only faces that i wished to see every day, they were like the family i never got to enjoy.

i went downstairs, took some cereals and went on my way to school A.K.A hellhole.

I looked down at my car as i walked over to it. The house next door was auspiciously quiet, he must have gone back to sleep. I got in my car and slowly started reversing it out of my huge driveway when i suddenly heard a bang on my car's boot and a male voice shouting 'hey!'.

I looked at my rear view mirror and saw the only person i'd wished not to see, the mysterious 'he/him' id refused to mention before, Austin McCarthy.

"do you have any driving sense" he said as he walked up to my car. "you know cars have rear view mirrors for a reason, right?" he added, resting his arm on my window and looking at me with the same eyes girls would die for. The eyes of a player.

"i do, but mine is designed to only see smart people who know how to look both ways before crossing" i said. he only smiled at me but for some reason it triggered me and i pressed the window button, ignoring the fact that he was still resting on it. it slowly rolled up and he quickly stepped backwards.

i fully reversed from my driveway and sped off, leaving our highschools heartthrob in my enormous drive way

i know i was a bit mean back there but anything that woukd make me get involved with my schools main attraction including maddison, then count me out. Besides, i havent taken my double chai, extra foamy mocha latte with a tasteful amount of boba marbles. just how i like it. I eventually got to my hellhole/school and walked into the halls of COHS.....nothing changed. it was always the early nerds solving math questions already or jocks making out with cheerleaders and so on. Nothing changed.
