Herobrine in Marvel...again

Chapter 39: 29 Noooo! Not again!

(Gaia's Grove)

Ender was looking over his city as his people did their daily routine; suddenly, his eyes narrowed as he felt the surge of psionic energy ripple across the fabric of reality. The energy was immense, raw, and unrefined, potential like this had not been seen in eons, and he also felt a familiar mark, the mark of Phoenix Force.

He knew this would happen soon since the humans started awakening their powers and, like in the modern era, they were abandoned by their people for being different, but for him, these were perfect people to let them live in his place, loyal, powerful, and they understand each other due to shared past.

Instead of sending someone else he decided to go personally as he opened a shimmering portal that led to the aura, ready to step through and personally bring the child under his protection before any other being decides to use it for their purpose. But before he could take a step, a familiar and overwhelming presence filled his surroundings.

The air grew heavy, shimmering with golden flames as the Phoenix Force manifested. It did not take a physical form, but its immense energy coalesced into a swirling inferno of cosmic fire, radiating power beyond anything Ender could yet match.

Giving a mental command to Highwalker to go and pick the child, Ender sighed, as he found himself in a white and blank space, looking at the representation of life and the light of the universe.

(White Hot Room)

"You would intervene, Herobrine?" The Phoenix Force's voice was calm, oddly feminine, tinged with curiosity and amusement. Flames danced around it, a swirling manifestation of untamed power and cosmic purpose.

Ender stood tall, his dark wings unfurling as his golden gaze met the swirling fire. "I cannot ignore a child abandoned to the whims of cosmic beings," he said, his voice steady but laced with an edge of defiance. "I won't let her be a pawn, not even for you."

"Her purpose is far greater than you realize," the Phoenix Force replied. "Her potential is not for you to mold alone. She belongs to the cosmos, to the cycle of life, rebirth, and destruction."

Ender didn't flinch. His voice, resolute, cut through the void like a blade. "She doesn't belong to anyone, not to the cosmos, not to you, and not even to me. Her life is hers, and I will make sure she has the chance to choose her path."

The Phoenix Force regarded him in silence for a moment, its flames flickering in contemplation. Finally, it spoke again, its tone sharper but not hostile. "She is destined to become my host. Her fate is entwined with mine, and you know it."

Ender felt a subtle, invisible pressure settle around him, a reminder of the Phoenix Force's overwhelming power. He acknowledged the gulf between their strengths, but he neither yielded nor faltered. Whether it was pride, principles, or something deeper, he refused to back down.

"Fate is not unchangeable," he said, his voice steady. "If her destiny is to wield your power, let it be by her own choice, not as a pawn to forces she cannot yet understand. Until then, I will raise her like my own. Whether she reaches her potential or not will be up to her."

For a moment, the flames brightened, as though they might lash out. But then they softened, retreating slightly as if the Phoenix Force were considering his words. It remained silent, the air thick with unspoken tension. Then, surprisingly, it relented.

"Agreed," the Phoenix Force said at last. "But on one condition."

Ender narrowed his eyes. "Name it."

The Phoenix Force's flames began to swirl around him, forming a ring of fire that radiated an odd warmth.

"You will raise her as your own, treat her as you would your flesh and blood," it began. "And the mother of this child… will be me."

Ender froze, his mind processing the Phoenix Force's words. Before he could respond, the flames flared brightly, blinding him momentarily.

(Burnt Place-yes this is the name)

In a desolate land where the air itself seemed to radiate despair. The scorched earth, blackened by an otherworldly fire, refused to sustain life. The ground was ash, the trees were skeletal remnants, and bones littered the landscape, a grim testament to the countless abandoned and unwanted souls left to fend for themselves.

It was here that a frail-looking man floated silently above the ground, his robes billowing in the hot, stagnant wind.

Below him, amidst the charred remains of this forsaken wasteland, was a baby girl with wildfire-red hair. She was surrounded by a pack of wolves, yet they bore no hostility toward her. Instead, they played and circled protectively around the child, as if she was their kin.

Highwalker observed the scene with a deep frown. The child's psionic power was unlike anything he had encountered, but it was not the reason he came here, he had a purpose of saving everyone abandoned by their family and tribes due to being different at birth, he was the same, born different, enfeebled, a condition which left him mute and quadriplegic in his early years and led him to be abandoned here.

This place itself was the aftermath of the Phoenix Force's destructive arrival on Earth. Millennia ago, the cosmic entity had clashed with forces far beyond mortal comprehension, leaving behind this scarred and lifeless terrain. Its residual energy had drawn him here at the behest of Herobrine, his lord who had provided him and his people a home.

Highwalker whispered to himself, "So this is what you have felt, Lord Herobrine. A child marked by the Phoenix Force... and abandoned for it."

(He can speak because Ender has cured him, his frail physique is innate, though not weak)

He descended slowly, his feet touching the scorched ground without a sound. The wolves immediately became alert, growling lowly, but the baby giggled, reaching out toward him. Highwalker raised his hand, expressing his peaceful intentions to the wolves.

"You have survived where no one else would," Highwalker said softly, kneeling beside the child. Her fiery red hair was a stark contrast to her pale skin, her bright eyes brimming with an innocence that belied the immense energy coiled within her small form.

"Your people cast you out," he continued, his voice tinged with sorrow. "They feared your difference, your power. But you are more than what they see. You are chosen. Like everyone abandoned here."

He scooped her into his arms, the wolves howling mournfully

The baby cooed and reached for his face, her tiny hand brushing against his cheek. Highwalker smiled faintly, the warmth of her touch warming his soul. "You shall not be alone, little one. My lord has provided a home to people like us."

As he walked through the barren landscape, he murmured a silent prayer to Herobrine, thanking his lord for guiding him to this child.

As Highwalker carried the baby girl through the desolate Burnt Place, the wolves, despite their earlier retreat, began to trail him at a distance. Their glowing eyes watched silently, their instincts warring between fear and protectiveness. These creatures, similar to humans were affected by the various changes on Earth and had become more than mere animals.

Highwalker glanced back, sensing their presence, but he did nothing to deter them. "So, you choose to follow,"

The baby in his arms cooed, her small hand reaching toward the wolves as if calling them; the wolves quickened their pace, closing the distance slightly.

As they continued their journey, the air shifted, and a low growl rumbled from the shadows ahead. Highwalker stopped, his sharp gaze scanning shadows. From the darkness emerged a massive wolf, its silver-black fur shimmering under the faint light. Its golden eyes glowed with a divine intensity, and the very earth seemed to tremble beneath its paws.

This was Fenrir, who now roamed the world as a guardian and Alpha to all wolves.

The pack immediately dropped to the ground, their heads bowed in submission. Even Highwalker, knowing the companion of his lord, felt awe as the colossal wolf approached, its gaze fixed on the baby in his arms.

Fenrir's growl softened into a deep, growl as he circled Highwalker and the child, his nose twitching as he sniffed the air around them. His eyes narrowed, not in hostility, but in recognition. The Phoenix Force's mark on the child was unmistakable.

"You sense it too," Highwalker said, meeting Fenrir's gaze. "She is no ordinary child. Her destiny is bound to forces far greater than we can comprehend."

Fenrir huffed, lowering his head to the child. She giggled, reaching out to touch his nose, and for a moment, the great wolf froze. Then, with a low, approving growl, he stepped back and turned to the pack. The wolves immediately rose, their postures shifting from wary to reverent.

The great wolf let out a commanding howl that echoed through the barren wasteland. The pack responded in kind, their cries harmonizing in a haunting chorus. Fenrir had claimed them as his own, adopting them into his divine fold.

Turning back to Highwalker, Fenrir gave a final glance at the child before bounding into the shadows. The pack followed, leaving only the faint sound of their howls lingering in the air.

(Ender PoV)

(Ender's POV)

"What the hell was I thinking?" I muttered, flopping onto my bed, I stared up at the ceiling, replaying my conversation with the Phoenix Force, a being so powerful it could rewrite the laws of the cosmos on a whim. And I had... negotiated with her. Successfully. Well, sort of.

I had intended to take Firehair under my wing for a simple reason: to prevent her from succumbing to the Dark Phoenix's destructive path, a path that would almost certainly lead to Earth's annihilation. Raising her seemed like a small price to pay to keep her latent psionic potential and connection to the Phoenix Force from spiraling out of control.

But now, thanks to the Phoenix Force, I wasn't just raising her. I was co-parenting—with HER.

The Phoenix Force. An entity whose understanding of human emotions was, at best, academic and, at worst, catastrophic. Every time she tried to grasp the complexities of mortal feelings, it led to events that echoed across existence. Some were beautiful, others, well… let's just say I had no interest in seeing Earth reduced to cosmic dust because she was manipulated by some 'mastermind' to become his trophy.

I sighed, rubbing my temples. "She probably doesn't even understand what she meant by becoming Firehair's 'mother.'" In her mind, the idea was likely abstract, a way of asserting her role in the child's destiny. But… what if it wasn't?

The Phoenix Force has always been curious—an insatiable hunger for understanding, especially when it comes to emotions. That curiosity had driven her to bond with hosts across the multiverse, experiencing their joys, pains, and struggles firsthand. But it was never enough. Every answer she found only led to more questions, more confusion, and sometimes… more chaos; that is when she isn't dark and when she has an endless hunger for destruction and power.

Was this part of her plan? To use Firehair as a way to explore humanity further? Or was she genuinely trying to forge a connection, something more meaningful than her usual ephemeral (short-time) bonds with her hosts?

The thought of what this meant for us lingered, uncomfortably persistent. If she truly intended to share the role of a parent, what would that look like?

Would she remain distant, observing from the cosmic sidelines as she always did, or would she try to actively engage? The idea of the Phoenix Force attempting "active parenting" made me shudder. I could already imagine her overreacting to something as mundane as Firehair scraping her knee. "Ah, she is in pain. I must burn the source of her suffering to ash."

And yet, there was something oddly... touching about it. For all her power, the Phoenix Force wasn't infallible. She was ancient, incomprehensibly vast, and yet she was still searching for something—connection, understanding, maybe even...nah not that.

Could that desire evolve into something deeper? A relationship between us built on mutual respect, understanding, and… affection? I shook my head. "Nope. Not going there."

But the thought wouldn't leave. If there was one thing I'd learned, it was that proximity breeds familiarity, and familiarity can lead to... well, anything.

Still, I had no illusions about what this arrangement might entail. The Phoenix Force wasn't a being to be underestimated, and the prospect of co-parenting with her was as daunting as it was surreal.

For now, I would focus on Firehair. She deserved a chance to grow, to learn, and to choose her own path. And if I had to navigate the complexities of the Phoenix Force's curiosity, and whatever this "mother" arrangement really meant, so be it.

With that, Ender made plans for his second coming of fatherhood. What he didn't know was that he had to babysit the 'mother' too, while being older than the universe, she didn't have a bit of knowledge of normalcy, even in divine terms.

Suddenly thinking about something, Ender shivers. "How will I explain this to Gaia?"

OMAKE (The Rewards are real, btw)

[System Notification]

Congratulations! You have successfully negotiated with the Phoenix Force and secured an eternal bond!

Title Earned: Cosmic Bridegroom

Reason: The System has acknowledged the Phoenix Force's claim as your partner due to the "co-parenting" arrangement with Firehair. Though initially unintentional, the Phoenix Force's symbolic gesture is recognized as a cosmic union by the System.

Rewards Granted:

Telekinesis: The power to manipulate objects with your mind. Includes fine control and immense strength, scaling with your willpower.

Telepathy: The ability to read, communicate, and influence thoughts. Your potential grows with practice, eventually rivaling that of powerful psionics.

Phoenix Fire: A fragment of the Phoenix Force's infinite flames. Burns with the intensity of cosmic life energy, capable of destruction and healing.

Resurrection Force: You can resurrect anyone you wish with with your energy, as the partner of embodiment of life and death itself. The cost is your energy (Xp/Otherworld Energy)

Cosmic Resonance: Your connection to the Phoenix Force strengthens your resistance to cosmic entities and amplifies your presence on a multiversal scale.

Cosmic Pyrokinesis: You can create 'cosmic' flames under any conditions even the impossible ones such as vacuum space or underwater. These flames do not require oxygen to burn, and burn so intensely that matter is consumed without by-products such as ash.

I stared at the glowing notification in front of me, dumbfounded. "Bride?" I muttered, rubbing my temples as if that would somehow clear away the absurdity. "No, no, no. It was a co-parenting agreement, not—"

My words died as another notification appeared.

[System Clarification: The Phoenix Force's actions during the negotiation have been interpreted as a symbolic gesture of union. Given its cosmic status, this is recognized as a binding partnership. Congratulations, Ender. You are married. Accidentally. Again.]

"Married?! Accidentally?! Again!?" I exclaimed, pacing the room as the implications hit me like a meteor. "To her? The cosmic embodiment of destruction and rebirth?! How does that even work?"

The System, of course, remained unhelpfully silent, leaving me to wrestle with the absurdity of the situation. I sighed, sitting back down. This wasn't just about titles or powers—though I couldn't deny the new abilities were impressive—it was about what this meant for my relationship with the Phoenix Force moving forward.

Would she even acknowledge this? Did she know this was how her actions had been interpreted? I could only imagine her reaction when she found out.

Still, as the energy of the Phoenix Fire surged through me, I couldn't help but feel a strange sense of warmth. This power was life itself, a fragment of the infinite potential that defined the Phoenix Force. And now, it was mine to wield, not as a tool, but as a partner.

~~~~
From the comics we have seen Phoenix Force can be the spark that can give warmth to someone she likes to be the fire that can burn everything if the one she likes is taken from her.
She had expressed her motherly love to Thor, too. Yeah, she was influenced by Firehair, but we know Phoenix Force is capable of love, motherly, and as a partner too.
She also wants to understand the emotions of humans, which led her to be manipulated by different beings like Mastermind, Emma Frost, etc. She can be overprotective to vengeful.
Then there is her 'fear' of Thunder well it is not her fear but more like Firehair's influence, since when Thor cried the thunderstorms used to happen or something like that so you can see the emotional state of Phoenix Force here
