Heroic Spirit Deck in Yu-Gi-Oh!

"I actually forgot the third card. What a blunder." Smacking on her forehead, Hoshino glanced at the smug Ozymandias, who stood confidently with the Ramesseum behind him.

[Ramesseum Continuous Trap Effect: (2) While [Ozymandias] is on your field, it cannot be destroyed by effects and cannot be tributed.]

Thanks to this card, Ozymandias not only gained an extra layer of protection but also immunity to destruction by card effects. In other words, even if Emiya Alter fired another Unlimited Lost Works, it would be ineffective.

As Ozymandias returned to the field, Odion declared, "Since the Pharaoh was specially summoned from the graveyard, the effect of my Continuous Spell, Card of Safe Return, activates, allowing me to draw three cards from my deck."

Akasha pressed two fingers to her forehead, deep in thought. "So he resurrects his monster and replenishes his hand. When did Odion get strong?"

"Attack, Emiya Alter! Attack the Tiki Curse!" Hoshino, knowing that while Ozymandias couldn't be destroyed, eliminating one of Odion's monsters would still weaken his field.

After the attack, Hoshino didn't summon any new monsters. Instead, she slid a card into her duel disk.

"I'll set one card and end my turn. I also activate [Emiya Alter]'s special effect to retrieve a spell card with [Heroic Spirit] in its name from my graveyard to my hand."

She declare. "The card I'm adding is the spell, [Salem of the Heresy]!"

Odion sneered. "An ineffective counterattack! My turn—draw!"

He discarded Tiki Curse without hesitation, treating it as a mere pawn.

"Exactly! While I'm on the field, every other monster is merely a trash for the sun!" Ozymandias laughed, clearly enjoying himself.

Hoshino took a deep breath. "Di-Ozy's trap card provides great immunity, but Emiya Alter will be difficult to defeat as well, especially with Rho Aias' protection."

Odion smirked, drawing a card. "You think you can hide behind your defense? Too naïve, Hoshino. Spell card: [Remove Trap]!"

[Remove Trap Spell Effect: Select 1 face-up Trap Card on the field and destroy it.]

"By this effect, I'll destroy [The Seven Rings that Cover the Burning Heavens]!"

The six remaining rings shattered in an instant. The sakura-like shield, which had held off even the sun's rays, dissolved with a simple spell.

Odion continued, "Next, I'll set one card and activate the Equip Spell [Mage Power]! I'll equip it to the Pharaoh!"

[Mage Power Equip Spell Effect: The equipped monster gains 500 ATK/DEF for each Spell/Trap you control.]

"With Card of Safe Return, Ramesseum, Mage Power, and my set card, the Pharaoh gains 2000 ATK!"

Ozymandias's power surged, his laughter growing louder.

[Ozymandias ATK 3000 → 5000]

Odion raised his fist triumphantly. "Absolute immunity and absolute power! This is the Pharaoh's undefeated stance upon the earth!"

"With 5000 ATK! That's stronger than Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon!" Mokuba gasped.

"This is dangerous! Hoshino has only 2600 LP, and Emiya Alter's ATK is just 2400," Yugi calculated. "If this attack goes through, she'll lose!"

Kaiba frowned but thought to himself, You're not someone who would lose here, are you, Hoshino?

"This ends here, Hoshino!" Odion shouted. He pointed at her. "Pharaoh, bring down your divine judgment!"

Ozymandias raised his scepter and ascended, surveying the battlefield. "Witness the power of the Pharaoh and accept your defeat!"

A pillar of light as brilliant as the sun descended, crashing into Emiya Alter. Without Rho Aias, he was defenseless against Ozymandias's overwhelming power and was instantly destroyed.

[Heroic Spirit – Emiya Alter] destroyed

The searing heat brought a surprising warmth to Hoshino, though it felt excessive.

"Ouch, ouch, ouch!" Shielding her face with her arms, she squinted at Ozymandias floating in the sky.

"You really went all out, didn't you, Ozy?"

Ozymandias smirked. "If you cannot endure even this level of radiance, you might as well give up now. The battles ahead will be far more intense."

"Who's giving up?" Hoshino retorted, her voice ringing out against the brilliant light.

Suddenly, a large white figure appeared, enveloping her in a protective embrace.

"I will purge all that is toxic, all that is harmful! For as long as I have this power, I shall lead everyone to happiness!"

Hoshino shouted, "I activate my set Trap card, [Nightingale Pledge]!"

[Nightingale Pledge Trap Effect: If you would take damage equal to or greater than your LP, negate that damage. Then, gain LP equal to 200 times the number of [Heroic Spirit] monsters you control, in your GY, and in your banished Zone.]

"Since I have four [Heroic Spirit] monsters in my graveyard and banished zone combined, I recover 800 LP!"

"Didn't expect my LP to go up instead, did you?" Snug in Nightingale's arms, Hoshino stuck her tongue out at Ozymandias and Odion other side of the field.

"You're really struggling, aren't you, Hoshino? Look at your empty field!" Odion said ignoring Hoshino's expression.

"The justice and resolve of my family are things you will never overcome!"

Hearing Odion's boast, Hoshino put away her tongue, her expression turning serious.

"I've already told you—this so-called justice, stained with blood and tears… I'm going to crush it to pieces by standing on the side of evil!"

"Are you serious, Hoshino? You don't even have a monster left to fight with!"

Odion couldn't fathom where the girl in front of him drew her confidence. The gap between their fields was enormous, yet there wasn't even a hint of despair in her eyes.

"I set a card and end my turn. And since I added a card to my back row, the Pharaoh's attack power increases!"

[Ozymandias ATK 5000 → 5500]

Odion, after much deliberation, set his last defensive trap: Mirror Force. Though he knew filling his back row with five cards would limit his ability to use other spells, Hoshino's confidence make him feel uneasy.

"Whoa, that's a powerful monster! It's got both attack and defense! How's Hoshino gonna top that? She's gotta have something up her sleeve!" Jonouchi groaned, clutching his head.

Seeing Jonouchi's distress, Shizuka also felt uneasy. "Onii-chan, could Hoshino be about to lose?"

"Jonouchi, you're scaring Shizuka!" In a panic, Honda karate-chopped Jonouchi's head, then smiled gently at Shizuka.

"Don't worry. Hoshino won't lose so easily! She's pulled through even tougher spots than this. We just have to believe in her!"

"Honda!" Shizuka looked gratefully at him and refocused on the field, watching carefully. She wanted to see the girl who saved her life display her undefeated spirit in the Duel Arena.

"My turn! draw!" With everyone's emotions gathered, Hoshino made her move.

Her sharp gaze locked onto Ozymandias, who smirked confidently.

"Get ready, because I'm going to beat you down, Egyptian Dio!"

"HAHA… HAHAHA." Ozymandias's laughter began to falter as he sensed her resolve.

"I activate the spell card [Salem of the Heresy], which I retrieved thanks to Emiya Alter's effect!" Hoshino declared, tossing the card decisively.

[Salem of the Heresy Spell Effect: Can only be activated once per turn. Choose one effect to activate: Special summon a 4-star or lower [Heroic Spirit] monster from the deck, then shuffle the deck. During this turn, you cannot perform a normal summon.]

"With Salem of the Heresy, I special summon—[Heroic Spirit – Paracelsus von Hohenheim]!"

In a burst of light, Paracelsus's card was drawn from her deck and materialized on the field.

"When Hohenheim is summoned, his effect triggers, letting me add a [Heroic Spirit] spell card from my deck to my hand!"

A trail of blossoming flowers illuminated the night sky, and at the end of the path appeared a new card in Hoshino's hand.

"—The card I add is [Voyage of the Flowers]!"

"With flowers blooming beneath her, a young girl steps forward, wielding her holy sword!" Hoshino declared.

"The heroic spirit who can face a thousand foes—respond to the call of the holy sword!"

The pure maiden's summoning filled the field with radiant light, and her decisive movements answered Hoshino's call.

"The card I add to my hand with Lily's effect is—[Heroic Spirit – Artoria Pendragon Alter]!"

Jonouchi's frown turned into anticipation. "Whoa, dude! A brand-new Alter monster? Is this Hoshino's secret weapon to turn the tide?!"

"It's pointless! The Pharaoh's power can't be surpassed so easily!" Odion scoffed, confident in Ozymandias's superiority.

"No, this is my true trump card!" Hoshino said, slamming her hand onto the duel disk to reveal her set card.

"Quick-play spell—[Phantasmal Summoning]!"

Yugi's eyes widened. "I remember this card! It's a Heroic Spirit exclusive…"

"That's right. Fusion time! I'll fuse Artoria Alter in my hand, Paracelsus on the field, and Emiya Alter in the graveyard!"

Three beams of dark light shot from Hoshino's hand, field, and graveyard. They intertwined, condensing into a pitch-black dot that seemed to devour everything.

"This is darkness powerful enough to swallow the sun itself—Fusion Summon! [Heroic Spirit – Mysterious Heroine X Alter]!"

Making her debut entrance, MHX Alter struck a idol pose. Then, shivering, she muttered, "Brr! So cold! Don't you have the heater on in here?"

Hoshino chuckled. "Look around. Does this place look like it has heating?"

MHX Alter's expression turned serious. "No choice then. I'll finish this in five seconds, and then we're going home!"

Odion sneered. "After all that, 3000 ATK is your limit? That monster couldn't even touch the Pharaoh's feet!"

MHX Alter's tone sharpened, though her expression remained calm. "Master, is the target that Egyptian guy up there?"

Hoshino smirked. "Exactly."

Ozymandias laughed. "What a fun idea—darkness that can swallow the sun! Come then, show me this clash of sun and darkness!"
