Chapter 5: ch5

Chapter 240

You know, I'm somehow already used to the fact that the original plan, faced with reality, leads me somewhere wrong... But here's the fact that we will be attacked by the dark Lord's shawks - the Gyvy with his gang of werewolves, while preparing for the attack itself. Yes, it was quite unexpected, especially since our forces were divided into four groups, plus my group responsible for activating and maintaining all the necessary barriers around the Nottt manor... And it was my group that werewolves chose as the main target, despite the fact that we were hiding much more thoroughly than the "assault detachments".

It was time to think about the betrayal of one of the members of the Order of the Phoenix, but I did not think long about this problem. Then, in any case, we will have to analyze the flights of everything that is happening, the benefit of our plan did not go according to the star at all. The attack of werewolves was noticed by my security in time, and Delphina and I very controversially activated a couple of artifacts handed over to us to build the necessary barriers. That's why if someone else was at the Nottov estate, he won't go anywhere for sure.

And there were some doubts about the fact that someone stayed there. Still, if the information about our attack went to the enemy camp, then this whole operation can in an instantant turn into a trap for ourselves... But I still couldn't do anything about it, and therefore calmly fulfilled the task assigned to me, in parallel with this joining the liquidation of the werewolves who attacked us.

Fortunately, there were not so many of them, but the werewolf, whom I initially took for Sivy, turned out to be not him at all. So we had no problems with the elimination of a dozen werewolves. Even though they were able to consciously turn into their wolf form, it's not for nothing that the gray-haired pack is considered the most dangerous in Britain. True, some women who were, just like me, enrolled in this squad only as batteries, were a little shaken by such an attack... But this is not such a big problem. Moreover, Tonx coped with werewolves almost alone...

Yes, this girl, having been involved in the punitive actions of the ministry, within the framework of which the almost complete extermination of werewolves was planned, she got quite well used to letting these creatures go to minced meat. Because of which a couple of waves of her magic wand turned into seven mutilated corpses, with stone peaks that literally tore the werewolf's breasts from the inside... Transfiguration of the stone into the air and back. It's quite a standard prem within the framework of combat transfiguration, but few people can protect themselves from it... True, a few units of magicians are generally able to use this magic, but this only raises the value of Nymphadora in my eyes. Nothing more...

Even if I'm a little jealous, because I can't say that I can easily repeat something like this. Tom took up the transfiguration after his return to England after his trip, which is why his memory and experience were very lacking for the title of master. Well, I can't say that I'm very fond of transfiguration, even though I tried to develop this talent of mine... Still, this magic is a little easier for metamorphs, which is why I, by the way, was able to eventually bring some basic transformations to the stickless level.

But that's not the point, I still suppressed a slight attack of envy towards my cousin very quickly, praising her for her efficiency... At the same time, I asked to send a message about what happened directly to Dumbledore through the patronus. Fortunately, the girl was able to evoke the bodily form of this spell, and Tonks was taught to convey messages with him in Aurorat, which is why there were no problems with this... Because I, you know, don't really strive to show everyone their own patron. The bodily form of this spell is too conky for me.

Fortunately, at least I had no such problems with other spells, which is why I began to cast long-range spells on myself without hesitation. It just allowed you to look at quite wide distances, while ignoring material obstacles and some magical barriers... Of course, I couldn't look at the Notts manor in this way, but it was not required. It was much more important for me to find out how other squads were doing there.

Fortunately, everything was relatively good for those, let some of them also came across werewolves... Most likely, these dogs were a kind of guard of the main base of the Dark Lord, which is not really so important. The fact that we did not know about this protection has already played a good joke with us, forcing us to hurry up events and activate barriers ahead of time, thereby probably stirring up the inhabitants of the Nottt manor.

Fortunately, at least the rest of the detachments perfectly understood the changes in the situation, immediately began to hack the protective contours around the Nottov estate... But this case still promised to be delayed, despite the fact that the director found good specialists, and the defense of the manor still remained in the standard mode. But the standard protection of the ancestral nest of the ancient family of magicians was still enough for even the best curse breakers to suffer with this protection...

Because of this, the enemy in any case got the opportunity to group and prepare for the upcoming battle. Which, by the way, was still part of our plans, no one in any case expected to break through a very serious defense of the manor with a snap of a finger. And the effect of surprise for our attack was not so important... On our side there is a serious numerical superiority, as well as great cohesion, which is basically enough for victory, albeit quite heavy. Still, a pack of werewolves is now setting the target in the manor and almost a hundred not the worst magicians - a serious force, no man-look at it...

But Dumbledore won't even look at all this disgrace. He is a monster from magic, a great wizard and just a very experienced wizard. In theory, it alone is enough to neutralize this whole gathering of Tom's supporters. And when I say "neutralize", that's exactly what I mean, because Dumbledore, unlike the Dark Lord, doesn't really want to kill his opponents. What will happen if this old man abandons his moral principles - I'm afraid to even imagine. Especially after Tom showed Delphine a master class on the destruction of a large number of not the cheapest mercenaries.

Speaking of the Dark Lord, he now, according to Snape's assurances, has gone somewhere in Scotland to negotiate with the local coven of witches. But this does not mean that this information can be trusted one hundred percent. Snape, of course, is unlikely to deceive the order and the director so openly, simply because it is a very serious risk, even if you believe that he, like my father in his time, still serves Tom. But even if the godfather himself did not set himself up so stupidly, they themselves could well play the dark one.

So I didn't relax, still expecting some kind of sneak from all this brewing. Although so far everything seems to have been going according to plan... The erected barriers have steadily blocked various spells with which the Death Eaters tried to contact their master. Although they still let the owls in, not being able to eliminate the magic birds. Moreover, the Notts' postmen were not the most ordinary, a special breed anyway. Which still won't help those catch up with their goal in the next three hours. Scotland is not so close, because the Nottov manor is just near London.

So yes, if Tom is not on the estate, then he should not be expected to return suddenly because of the owls. On the contrary, such a gesture of despair on the part of the Devourers even cheered me up. Moreover, their protection is almost in front of our eyes, and the Order of the Phoenix, together with hired specialists and mercenaries, is already waiting to break into the defenseless estate of an ancient family. And the director himself, what the hell, is not far away from his followers.

Dumbledore hardly resembled himself that day. He had a painfully militant look, his beard was neatly gathered in thick braids, and the usual slyingy mantle was replaced by a thick cloak... Enchanted so much that I got goosebumps when I first saw the director in these clothes. And in it, he and the flame of the dragon are not too much to be afraid of, especially if you remember a good dozen protective artifacts woven directly into the gray beard of the old man...

Don't want to talk to me about such things, I myself look more like a Christmas tree. He even stuffed a few hairpins and invisible hairs into his hair, calmly borrowing them from Narcissus... From the spare kit. Well, I just didn't have my own hair ornaments, I somehow forgot to take care of this moment, getting used to using my hair only as a disguise for the Kogtevran diadem. It will have to be fixed later...

Chapter 241

The curse liquidators worked quite professionally and quickly that half an hour after the start of the operation, the first main protective barrier of the manor was hacked and dispersed, allowing the main forces to launch an attack. Yes, no one was going to break the defense to the end, especially since having overcome the main barrier, the rest could have been demolished by bare force. What, in fact, was the main shock fist of the order led by Dumbledore.

We can even say that the director almost alone began to demolish the multi-layered protection of the manor, making sure that he himself would not be ended off with his own spells. Fortunately, the old man had more than enough strength for such tricks. Moreover, the old man was supported by a familiar - phoenix, a bird that can overcome any barriers and perfectly helps in their destruction, intensifying the fire attacks of its master. The rest of the magicians in the group, however, had to additionally protect themselves from the heat that came from Dumbledore's spells, but these are trifles.

Moreover, everyone initially knew what to prepare for, and this approach saved a lot of time. And it was still not worth stretching the battle in order to minimize the risk of all kinds of surprises. Yes, the strength limit of the barriers erected around the manor is not infinite. Of course, I will be able to maintain the same anti-apparation barrier for quite a long time, even if they try to break it very actively, but I also have my limits. So yes, Dumbledore's destructive power came in handy.

Well, I got a great opportunity to watch a real master of his craft at work. Of course, watching what was happening through the spell was not very convenient, especially since this spell seriously failed because of serious magical and spatial disturbances, but this observation was still useful. After all, I at least began to understand in which direction I should move for further development in elemental magic.

It's just a pity that the further battle was no longer so rich in details and nuances, merging into one cycle of spells, throwing from one side to the other and very funny attempts of devourers to oppose anything to Dumbledore. Yes, as soon as the last barriers fell, these wizards, don't be fools, hit the attackers with avads and mass curses... Which was really dangerous, and even turned into more than one victim for other strike groups, but in the case of the director.

Yes, against his background even Nymphadora looked quite pale, despite the title of master of transfiguration. It was basically difficult to describe in words what the old man did with one wave of the magic wand, but the fact remains - all the enemy's avads were easily blocked by transfigured objects, and the devourers themselves barely managed to contain the retaliatory attack...

Perhaps the thing is that there was no wizards in the ranks of the main line-up meeting the director, but this does not negate the fact that two dozen not the most ordinary wizards could hardly oppose Dumbledore. Although, I would most likely be able to repeat the director's feat, albeit in slightly different ways, and not with the same ease, but I could. So, all is not lost yet and I also have something to be proud of... Well, or it would be if I really decided to take part in the battle. But I wasn't interested in it.

Although, when I slightly shifted the focus of the spell, and the whole battlefield appeared before my magical eyes, allowing me to see in detail all the chaos that occurs when two not small groups of wizards collide, the blood in my veins almost boiled. I literally felt my body being filled with strength and fighting excitement, awakening the desire to participate in all this mess myself... The damn legacy of the Blacks makes itself felt.

But I'm even happy about such a spontaneous desire to risk my own head for the sake of not very clear goals. After all, it is this desire that now gives me such rich emotions, allowing me to analyze and understand what is happening there in the smallest details, in the meat grinder, which the mercenaries of the Order and the Dark Lord arranged among themselves. And I like this excitement, which pushes me to commit some kind of madness... Even if I won't allow myself to lose self-control. I have a slightly different goal, and you should not forget about additional tasks.

And additional tasks, by the way, will have to be performed quite soon, creating a pair of "holes" inside the anti-apparatation barrier for very specific port keys, which were now in the hands of those mercenaries that Narcissus recently hired. This group, by the way, did not forget about their task for a second, moved quite organized towards its main goal - Bellatrix Lestrange, my aunt and the one whom Narcissus wants with all his heart to pull out of this meat grinder.

True, the woman herself does not really want to leave this holiday of death, having fun in the heat of battle... At the same time, I clearly saw that Bella still has not recovered from her imprisonment, which is why her battle drawing is somewhat broken and torn. There is a feeling that a woman simply does not have enough strength and concentration to implement her own style... And it moves with some stiffness and slowness. Her body is also not yet ready to realize the full potential of its owner. What doesn't prevent her from sending one wizard after another to the other world with crazy fun...

Yes, in this case I'm even glad that my relative is somewhat out of shape. Otherwise, I would have serious doubts that the mercenaries hired by the mother have any chance of dealing with this beast at all. She had too much impressive abilities in magic and curses... In some moments I was even twitched when another victim of a woman turned with a live bomb, threatening others with his bones flying in different directions... Too bloody and I would even say dirty methods is used by Bella.

But their effectiveness was really stupid to dispute, especially when ordinary mercenaries and ordinary members of the Order of the Phoenix were replaced by Narcissus specialists, but still could not take the initiative from this person... A completely crazy person who almost danced, continuing to fight just as effectively. At the same time, her madness and fun were felt by almost everyone who looked in her direction, which she used to openly flaunt and intimidating her opponents. Even veterans who have seen a lot in this life reacted very nervously to such an opponent...

Yes, the aunt is strong. Fortunately, at least I haven't had time to recover yet, but I still won't risk letting Narcissus come to her in the near future... I'll lock the Blacks' family nest in the cells, let him calm down a little in my native house, Bella's blessing has long been cut off from this ancestral source, so there will be no problems with this. Although there is a small chance that she will be able to subjugate one of the Malfoy housewives without any wand, still remains, but I will already control this moment separately.

Well, if the mercenaries can cope with their task. Otherwise, it's not very good yet. Bella is very competently supported by former cohabitants in the cell, or who they are there after Azkaban... Although it doesn't matter, the main thing is that the old guard of death eaters still does not allow the mercenaries to approach their main task, dragging them into a protracted battle...

Well, let's hope for the best. At the very least, I won't be very upset if Bella never meets Narcissa again. I still can't approve of the extra risk for my mother, despite the fact that Narcissa convinced me to capture and kidnap her sister. I still stand by my opinion, and I have nothing against the fact that the same Dumbledore himself dealt with my relative.

Moreover, the old man justifies his own reputation quite well, trying not to kill his opponents, even if he dealt with them very harshly... But he has already done quite a bit, almost automatically dealing with opponents, which in this context is more like annoying flies... In the sense that their "bites" are of little use, but it's difficult to nail them. So they're going to hide somewhere or somehow to stall for time...

Troubled guys who chose the very right tactics in the fight against the director. If they tried to harm Dumbledore, and they would be much less useful... Well, at least they are dragging out, most likely counting on the return of their leader. Well, well...

Chapter 242

Despite some chaos of the ongoing battle, everything in a way continued to develop quite linearly. A certain parity arose between the death eaters and the order of the phoenix, the mercenaries on both sides continued to frantily tear each other, the werewolves raging, trying not so much to kill their opponents as to bite. And only Dumbledore continued to move forward confidently, systematically, albeit not too fast, disabling his opponents... Well, exactly until he entered into a fight with Nott Sr.

Not the strongest magician in essence managed to stop the old man almost alone, tied him in a battle and even managing to mess him up a little... And all because the battle took place just on the territory of the Ancestral Manor of the Notts - a place where the head is practically invulnerable. In the sense that the very magic of this place protected its master, nourished him with strength and prevented his opponents from conjuring normally... A terrible opponent, especially if you take into account that Nott, although not the best, is still a good combat magician.

And even if being just not bad in the battle with the director is too little to become a serious obstacle, but in the case when you can in the simplest protective spell you can instill so much magic that the air sparkles, everything changes somewhat. Which, in fact, Nott Sr. proved, blocking most of Dumbledore's attacks by pure force... Although, as I suspect, if the director had not had such an intrusive habit of saving strength, which I noticed behind him, this whole fight would have ended quite quickly. Still, in skill and experience, Nott was greatly lost against the background of one of the strongest magicians in Europe and even the world.

But that's not the point, the main thing is that this man really managed to tie up the head of the Order of the Phoenix with a fight, actually stopping his victorious march through his territory. And I am never happy with such a development of events. At least because someone straight from the center of the Nott estate is very actively trying to break our barriers with some artifacts. Maybe even - birth relics, as the strength to maintain our insurance is gradually starting to go away more and more. Fortunately, so far this has not become a problem, but this is only for now.

In addition, don't forget that I still have to get Narcisssus's mercenaries with Bella in my arms out of the brewing in which they got stuck... They're exactly caught up, clinging to the old guard of Death Eaters and Bella herself. But the chances of success are still very significant, so I must at any time be ready to open several holes in the barrier for those... And even though I was quite confident in my skills, but the pressure from an unknown artifact made me a little nervous. Suddenly the devourers will be able to expand the vulnerabilities I created in the barrier... It may not turn out very well.

Fortunately, my own reserve was still full, but in general, my well-being was more than optimal. Despite the adrenaline raging in the blood due to the observation of such an exciting battle, I could clearly feel the clarity and clarity in my head. It seemed that no matter how difficult the spell I wanted to use now, I would definitely succeed... At some point, it even began to seem to me that my control over Vite had improved somewhat, I could now give such an excessive level of concentration... In theory. I didn't want to check it unnecessarily, frankly sparing my strength.

However, usually my feelings rarely turn out to be wrong, so I was more than confident in my abilities at the moment. And only the paranoia that had already entered the subcortex of consciousness made me count on the worst scenario, which I actually did, without distracting myself from the main battle. And let me follow mainly the two sections of the "front", not losing sight of the two stars of tonight - Bella and Dumbledore, but I also managed to stealthily observe the rest of the participants of the battle.

So, for example, I clearly saw how Snape even in this situation manages to play the role of a double spy, then killing mercenaries from the side of the Order of the Phoenix, then sending werewolves to their forefathers who flew from cutting... By the way, they were all kicked as much as possible. Still, the dark creatures, who with their bite could turn a wizard in themselves, instilled real horror in all parties to the conflict. Even Bella sent a couple of avads to her master's dogs.

So yes, in which case no one will have any special complaints about Snape. Mercenaries in this war are just a bargaining chip. They themselves put their lives on the stake, wishing the ringing of golden galleons in return. No one will feel sorry for the werewolves, especially since there were enough employees of the current ministry in the ranks of the order, in the ranks of the devourers, who, in general, supported the policy of the ministry itself. Not always and not in everything, since these wizards have generally joined such dubious organizations as the Order of the Phoenix or the Death Eaters, but they still hate werewolves about equally...

Perhaps only Dumbledore did not distinguish between werewolves and his other opponents, but he had every right to do so. With his level of strength and capabilities, it doesn't matter who exactly to be sent into oblivion for the next couple of dozen hours. But Dumbledore... that has already practically dealt with Nott, the owner of this territory. However, here Knott himself was rather exhausted, trivially overloading the body with magic... Unaccustomed to such a powerful and intense witchcraft, the body simply could not withstand the pressure, starting to hint to its master that he was doing something wrong.

And this despite the fact that the magic in Nott came directly from the ancestral source. I'm afraid that if it weren't for that, he would have died from those loads that he took on himself, starting to fight with Dumbledore. By the way, he still attacked his opponent with the same methodical nature with not the most killer spells, spontaneous magic and an endless stream of transfiguration. And it worked, because the old man managed to turn even the simplest spells inside out using those rather non-standard ways... That's what many years of experience and huge knowledge in magic mean.

I definitely watched the old man so closely for a reason. Just watching his battle seriously expanded my idea of many combat and near-combat spells. And I will definitely adopt some not the most standard techniques of transfiguration, having previously worked out what I have just seen. I think I have enough brains and skills for this, well, if there are not enough, it will always be possible to find the right teacher, which will clarify the points I do not understand. Especially since knowing the final result is not so difficult to come to it.

Yes, Dumbledore with his technique and skills literally marked the very ideal that can be achieved in magic at all. Of course, it mainly concerned charms and transfiguration, but even so, I'm afraid to imagine how long the director honed such skills. I myself have never seen such a filigree and... natural use of spells and transfiguration from anyone. Only the teacher of Nymphadora, who this year became a master of transfiguration, having headed a whole guild of transfigurators in France, could show something like this. But even then, it is far from the full extent that the indicator is actually the same.

Although, Tom can somehow compare with Dumbledore. Even if not due to the "naturalness" of the charms, which I can't even clearly express, but due to the strength for sure. Still, the Dark Lord turned to the highest face, magical power at that sea, for a reason during his revival. And I can't say that the skills are inferior to those of the director... They're just not so filigree and elaborate, if I may say so...

But stop singing praises to our director. Of course, I am impressed to see such a performance almost live - through the long-range vision spell, but you should not forget your task. There, Narcissus' mercenaries just got a good opportunity to dissuade my aunt from the general company of devourers... Perhaps very soon I will have to create a passage hidden from other eyes in the anti-apparation barrier for these guys. Well, I'm going to stabilize the barrier later, because the rest of my "comrades" are unlikely to notice anything at all. It's not for nothing that those who are better not allowed to be allowed to fight in real fights were sent to my squad... And yes, I'm the only one here who was not allowed to fight because of my age.

Chapter 243

As soon as Notta was finally "burned out" from the pressure of her own magic, another significant event occurred on the field of pain - Bella made a fatal mistake... The banal imperfection of her current style made itself felt, allowing the mercenaries to catch a good moment for an attack. And even though I missed the attack itself irresponsibly, too carried away by the director's performance, but the result still pleased me... In the sense that after such an attack, Bella will definitely not really be buoy anymore.

She should stay alive. Because her body flew too quickly into the nearest tangle, of which there were plenty of them on the territory near the Nott estate. And the movements in flight and that were too broken, which hinted at an unusual effect from the received spell... Yeah, after such a thing, even I would be hard for me to get up again. And this despite the fact that my body has not been much like the body of an ordinary wizard for a long time. Too many modifications have accumulated in it after so many years of using metamorphism...

But Bella was able to surprise, quite controversially again taking a vertical position. At the same time, she did it rather on reflexes, which still did not help her to continue the battle somehow. And the three mercenaries struck her in time with their spells, finally disabling the woman. And even the help of the Lestrange brothers, who were quickly oriented, could not help my aunt. They were banally tied up by other mercenaries, while the other three were "packing" the woman.

After that, I had to work opening small puns in the anti-apparation barrier, letting the mercenaries and their victim straight into one of the underground rooms of the Black House. I just put additional enchantments and barriers on the walls and doors of the room, turning it into a full-fledged, but quite convenient, camera. At the same time, the walls of the room were so shielded that even the aunt's husband, Rodolphus Lestrange, would not be able to locate his wife.

And Bella herself, no matter how strong she is, will not be able to leave her room without my permission. The only chance that she can have in theory is the moment immediately after arrival, when the mercenaries will leave her room, but I'm not particularly worried about that. Now Zhou Chang is looking after the room from the outside and in case, she can lock up the mercenaries together with the woman there until they calm her down...

In general, yes, opening the passage for mercenaries, I didn't worry about anything, worrying only about how I would quickly patch the gaps in the barrier I created... And I was worried for a reason, because as soon as the port keys worked, the barrier itself was slightly shaken, as an unknown burglar made himself felt. The pressure on the anti-apparation barrier increased sharply, and the barrier itself began to destabilize. What my assistants immediately noticed, but it didn't do much...

All they could do was feed the artifact with their magic, and also using a wand for this... Naturally, such wizards could not even think about working directly with the spell, which I did myself, trying to patch holes and stabilize the barrier. It turned out not to be very good, but things were going well... I just felt that in a couple of minutes I would finally deal with this problem, which is not critical at all. Still, no one will be able to escape through the existing gaps. They were set up for strictly defined artifacts, so I could not worry about the escape of the devourers...

If after half a minute of work with the barrier, the barrier would not have been shaken by a powerful blow from somewhere outside, which almost immediately knocked me out of the barrier construct... I barely had time to send a sharp stream of my strength into the barrier, not allowing it to collapse at the same moment. But such tricks did not really contribute to the stabilization of the barrier, hinting that in a matter of minutes the barrier will collapse without outside help...

But I already think I didn't care. And all because I felt the echoes of the force that struck the barrier... Very familiar and even native strength. A power that I will never confuse with anything is the strength of Wolandemort, in which there is little left of the Tom I knew through memories and cross. But this power, the magic of Tom, was still recognizable, even though it acquired a lot from Tom's current undead nature...

But something got me to the wrong place. Huh, apparently the shock from such a meeting hit me sharply in the brain, forcing me to get up in a stupor for a couple of moments... But it didn't last long, because the next second the barrier was shaken by another blow, albeit not so powerful. But it was still enough for the anti-apparation barrier to literally crumble, and the hair on the back of my head to move without any metamorphism...

And all because of the fact that with the destruction of the barrier came a distinct feeling of someone else's power and the presence of the undead. And if my feelings don't lie to me, this presence was barely five hundred meters away from me. If there was a small forest between us, I could see Volandemort with my own eyes... Which I didn't really want, suddenly moved closer to my guards and calling Nymphadora to my place with a scream. It was she who kept me from activating the port key to the house on Grimmo right now...

Well, the indignation from the destroyed barrier turned the use of any spatial magic into a real Russian roulette. The risk of leaving the other side of the portal in parts was too high for me to risk using the port key even in such a situation. Moreover, I planned to move not alone, but together with Nymphadora, which I did not really want to throw. I have certain plans for her, you know, and Andrameda, if something happens to her daughter because of my fault, is unlikely to allow me to live quietly on... The blood of the Blacks should not be underestimated.

So, this girl should be taken with you anyway. Fortunately, at least the security I hired did not pump up, also finding a sudden threat in relative proximity. However, I didn't have any special hopes for them anyway, they themselves once told me that in case of a collision with the Dark Lord, the maximum I can count on is a couple of minutes of handicap that they can win for me before they start saving their own skins...

And in this case, I was completely satisfied with such a layout... Well, or so I thought so, until I felt the construction of someone else's anti-apparation barrier, which almost immediately covered the entire territory of the estate... But we had to use a specialized artifact to erect a similar barrier. So Tom also moved in our direction during the erection of the barrier, forcing me to change my own appearance at the same moment...

Appearing before the dark lord in the image of Draco Malfoy is the worst possible idea, but I had at least some chances to go unnoticed. However, it took Nymphadora some time for such an operation, mainly due to the fact that she did not immediately understand the reason why she needed to change her appearance right now. Fortunately, I didn't ask any unnecessary questions, having carried out the order, and only then began to be indignant by my behavior...

Exactly until the moment when a gloomy figure in a raincoat began to dive in our direction, flying over the forest separating us... Yes, and I can't control the magic of the wind so virtuoso. I can't even fully understand how the Dark Lord's flight process takes place. Most likely, there is something else besides elemental magic. Otherwise, I would hardly have such difficulties with the analysis of someone else's spell.

Fuck! Again, I'm not thinking about it, the thoughts in my head are slightly confused because of the recent sensory shock from the impact on the anti-apparation shield, which I was very active in supporting. And in general, such abrupt changes in the situation are very annoying, especially since I'm just the most shitty situation right now. The layout, in which the chance to go to the world of gray limits earlier than it should, becomes very serious.

Chapter 244

The appearance of the Dark Lord, contrary to my expectations, turned out to be not too pathetic. Even though Tom liked to show off to the audience, but at the moment he was probably even too angry... It was felt even in the magical background, as the power of the highest face of powerful presses put pressure on everyone around him, I perfectly demonstrate the rage of its owner. Well, for those who still couldn't decipher all his indignation through magical sensitivity, Tom additionally hit the square with hellish flames...

Personally, I appreciated the scale and power of the spell, I do not vouch for the rest - in my opinion, it is difficult for the dead to somehow assess what is happening. Although, among the surviving losers, there was also no special delight, since even the slightest contact with hellish flame caused the most powerful burns... That not only the physical bodies of the owners were injuring. The energy component also got a lot, which is why the wounded wizards, as a rule, immediately lost consciousness from pain.

Only a couple of people managed to get away from the attack, among whom I happened to be Nymphadora and the bodyguards already ready to battle. Actually, a couple of a werewolf-killer and a bodyguard-fighting magician showed themselves perfectly from the first seconds of the fight, shifting away from me and my cousin and starting to distract Tom's attention from themselves. Everything is strictly within the framework of the contract to leave from which those, apparently, were not going to, which I am glad about...

Still, the opportunity to get away from Volandemort is expensive. Moreover, he, as it seemed to me, intended to kill all the members of the order in general, which is why those losers who survived his first attack, the next moment received a finishing spell, from which Nymphadora and I were still able to fight off, even though I had to protect a shocked and frightened girl... And initially it was thought that she would protect me.

But that's not the point, the main thing is that we survived, and the bodyguards didn't risk getting a rollback from the magic contract, honestly rushing to protect my carcass. Special thanks to them, if they survive, I'll give them a magic artifact of the highest class. My own life is still more expensive, and some loyalty of such personalities will not hurt me. Although, all the money for their hire, in any case, they just beat off, allowing me to rush towards Dumbledore before Tom turns his attention to me again...

Fortunately, the director himself felt the appearance of his former student, moving in our direction... It's a pity that the director's phoenix has already left the battlefield, tired after the destruction of the defense systems of the Nottt manor. Well, without him, Dumbledore won't be able to transgress directly to Tom. He erected an excellent anti-apparation barrier, tightly locking everyone on the territory of the Notts. It's an unpleasant layout, especially since I'm almost two kilometers away from the director, and Tom is literally behind my back...

Fortunately, at least my physical condition allows me to increase this distance very quickly, despite how disoriented Nymphadora is on my shoulder. The girl, of course, has already realized the situation, but she has not yet decided what to do in such a situation. And in a way it's even good, because with her inflamed sense of justice, she could have tried to help my security... Which I personally wouldn't want to.

I'd rather literally carry the girl away from the place of the battle, even if it's because of her I have to spend more energy not moving through a small forest near the Nottov estate. If it weren't for Nymphadora, I would move at least one and a half times faster, trivially without fear of stabbing my burden once again, and even without an extra weight it's easier to run. And even though I use all the metamorphism and magic of blood for my physical strengthening, but sometimes even this was enough for me to move as quickly and efficiently as possible... Sometimes I was even frankly outweighed, if necessary, run around another tree or punch through another bush...

Although I still did a good job, surpassing any other wizard in this. After all, the reaction acceleration potion, swelt right on the go, made itself felt, allowing me to almost in a few millimeters to diverge with obstacles on my way... Which, by the way, should also affect the condition of Nymphadora. She could hardly have expected to be on my shoulder at some point. And the shaking there was not weak, yet I moved with sharp and intermittent movements, bypassing obstacles and literally flying over small irregularities in the relief.

To be honest, I myself would have been shaken by such a movement a couple of years ago, but now it's the best way to get away from the Dark Lord. True, it so happens that I'm moving straight into the depths of the anti-apparation barrier, but I'll figure it out somehow. At the very least, the death eaters are not as scary as their master. And Dumbledore, to whom I actually moved, already consider that he dealt with most of the devourers, that gathered from his side of the estate, and in general he was already moving to meet me...

However, I didn't really manage to be happy with this fact, as my security did not live up to expectations, stoping to keep Tom in one place... And let him move not quite in my direction, but it's temporary. I'm sure that in the end he will still head towards his main opponent on this battlefield. That's why I had a small dilemma - to continue moving towards Dumbledore, or to take a risk, moving towards the punishment of the anti-apparation barrier.

- Draco! - Nymphadora suddenly shouted, pulling my hair... Apparently, I ignored her for a long time, because the wind and my own bullet had long drowned out all the other sounds for me. - What the fuck just happened!? And where the hell are you taking me? - Realizing that I did pay attention to her, at the same time, slowing down the pace of running a little, Nymphadora shouted.

- The dark lord made himself felt at the most opportune moment! - I shouted a little evilly to the girl, afraid to catch my breath. - And I'm carrying you away from this very lord... Or do you want to talk to him alone? - Interrupting to take an extra breath of air, I still specified just as maliciously... At the same time, I didn't even think of getting angry with the girl herself, just this whole situation made me incredibly angry. And a slight pain from the fact that I was pulled by the hair made itself felt.

- ... Drop me, I can run myself! - After a second hitch, the girl shouted at me, immediately trying to free herself from my grip. But I never let go with force, squeezing on my shoulder... Of course, I understood that it was hardly pleasant to be in such a position, but in this situation it was trivially faster. Nymphadora itself will never develop such a speed.

- Don't worry! - I barked. - You'd better take control of the territory, the Dark Lord is on our tail, and we still have to run about a kilometer to Dumbledore. - On the exhale, I said, and then fell silent with the ends... Because of the chosen pace and this moron conversation, I still started to catch my breath. And if I didn't want to appear in front of the director in the state of a pen horse, I'd better shut up... Because even my body doesn't really want to work, without a stable oxygen supply.

Fortunately, Nymphadora correctly deciphered the situation, really stopping twitching in my hands... True, it seems to me that a little later I will still get for such conversations, but these are the problems of my future. Now I need to get to the director as soon as possible... Yes, after a second of reflection, I decided not to risk it, using Dumbledore as a shield. Otherwise, there is no zero risk that in my attempts to outplay Tom, I myself will get in his way.

Well, I'll be under the director's protection in a couple of minutes... The main thing is not to forget to regain a normal appearance before appearing in front of the director. Otherwise, he can start attacking me without recognizing the new role. And it doesn't care that in that case Tom will recognize me too. Against the background of Dumbledore, I'll still be too insignificant a fish for him to seriously pay attention to me...

Chapter 245

- Draco? - Dumbledore stared at me in surprise, pointing his wand at me and watching my body and face change rapidly, returning to normal. Although, the figure did not think to change from such changes, yet I was not quite desperate to change my body so radically, while shifting the center of gravity. And let the changes themselves can't hurt me in any way, but the shifted center of gravity will break all my gross motor skills at once... It's not for nothing that Tonks was a pretty clumsy girl at one time. She trivially changed her own appearance too often and too radically, which led to such a result.

- The dark lord of some kind of shit returned to protect his entourage. - Slightly out of breath, I squeezed out of myself, realizing that Dumbledore already knows about it, but an explanation for my presence here is still necessary. - My squad is already completely destroyed... My security was able to tie Wolandemort in battle for a while, allowing me and Nymphadore to get out of the attack, but this is unlikely for long. - I reported, specifically mentioning Tom's nickname. At one time, with the help of Taboo magic, he imposed on the British Isles some kind of tracking spells that work whenever someone says his name.

It was with the help of this spell that he was once able to make the whole magical world tremble before his nickname. He banally sent the punitive detachments of devourers to any place where his "name" was pronounced. Yes, the brutal massacres of magicians quickly accustomed these very magicians to shudder only at the mention of the current Dark Lord. And let it be a cruel, bloody and in many ways crazy method of intimidation, it worked just perfectly. In this case, it is difficult to deny Tom's tactical genius, even if at that moment no one called him by this name.

Well, in this case, I used his ability to feel "his own name" against himself. I needed the Dark Lord's blood here and now, so that Dumbledore wouldn't ask me too many unnecessary questions when fighting Tom. Now there should definitely be no unnecessary doubts about my person, well, after that I will be able to somehow excuse myself from possible accusations against myself. Even if many may be somewhat suspicious of the fact that I was actually the only survivor from my group.

Fortunately, my little trick to attract Tom's attention worked just fine. The Dark Lord almost at the same moment changed the direction of his movement, moving towards us with the director. And Dumbledore clearly felt it, suddenly changing his face and slightly moving his eyebrows to the bridge of his nose. I think he was even a little angry with me for saying this name out loud... But I pretended to be a felt boots in time, perfectly playing some surprise and misunderstanding of the interlocutor's reaction.

- The Dark Lord is already moving here. You'd better escape as soon as possible, Draco. - Still, the director deigned to let me go, with a smooth movement of a magic wand outlining a circle with himself in the center... Apparently, he is preparing some small strengthening ritual, while there is such an opportunity. Well, let's not distract him. It's better to really get away from the upcoming battle site...

Fortunately, the nearest forest will be a great place to watch the upcoming battle, and Dumbledore, in which case, will not think of anything superfluous, since it will be difficult to see anything with an ordinary look from such a distance. Well, in order to "hide" from Tom, this line is perfect, which will take away all the unnecessary suspicions of the principal... Still, the spells of long-sight are very complex charms that go beyond the curriculum of any of the world's schools. They do not even need to be demonstrated at the master of charms exam, since these charms are too specific magic to remember them at any exams.

In general, yes, I decided on the direction of movement very quickly, immediately starting to change my own appearance and, as far as I have strength, rushing in the direction I needed. Fortunately, Tonks never deigreed to jump off my shoulder, which is why I had no problems with the start of movement. Well, the fact that the director was able to fully assess my physical abilities is not so scary. Rather, on the contrary, in this situation, this knowledge will help the old man get rid of unnecessary questions.

And the fact that metamorphism in skillful hands allows him to significantly strengthen his own body, he simply had to know. Dumbledore, after all, is a master of transfiguration, and these craftsmen, albeit only in theory, are obliged to know something about the transfiguration of their own body, as many magicians also call metamorphism. So he probably guessed about my increased physical abilities, even if in the last few years I hid my training in this direction of magic.

In general, yes, such disclosure of my abilities rather reduced the number of questions to me from Dumbledore than created new ones. At least because now I had a normal explanation of how I managed to survive Wolandemort's attack at all. And a false feeling of control over the situation should have appeared in our director, yet he just declassified one of my main trump cards, which he should understand perfectly...

So yes, I didn't regret my act at all, especially since Tom was already really stepping on my heels, so I shouldn't have stayed near Dumbledore anymore. I already managed to run to the planned prolesch only a few seconds before the gloomy figure of the highest lich appeared above the horizon. I even suspected that he managed to notice me... But it's unlikely, in the current state I would probably be able to feel someone else's attention.

Although, the thought of running as far away from the Dark Lord as possible visited my head again. And she was even too seductive, but I still forgot about it for a while... During the run, I already managed to calm down a little and gather my thoughts to decide to watch the battle of two colossus of the magical world of Britain. And all because of the fact that in this battle I will probably bet on Dumbledore, yet the old man has recently already shown his own power and tremendous experience.

Well, even if Tom wins this confrontation, after the battle with the director, he will obviously not be up to the search for one little Malfoy and no less small Tonks... Especially since with the exhausted Tom, even I had some chances to win, despite the acute lack of combat experience. So yes, I still had arguments to calm my paranoia, especially since this risk was more than justified...

When else will I be able to fully appreciate the abilities of my two main enemies, if not now? I doubt that another battle of this scale is planned in the near future. It and today's clash were not planned, but since this skirmish is still destined to happen, I simply have to catch it with my own eyes. Too great, as it turned out, the benefit is even from a simple observation of how monsters of the same Dumbledore level fight.

The two best magicians who have appeared on the British islands over the past fifty years were also going to strike here... Such a fight could not be overlooked. And I wasn't going to miss him, yet changing my recent plans to run without looking back and save my own skin... Well, I was still pressed on my brains by the same notorious blood of the Blacks and the ancestral gift to combat magic. I was really shivering just from one thought that a battle of this scale would take place next to me.

And this tremor was simply impossible to ignore. And Tonks, as I understood, was not even against watching something like this, once again convincing me that she and I are quite close relatives and our jumps are sometimes horribly similar... But let's talk about the sad, especially since the battle between the two monsters of this world is about to begin...

Chapter 246

The collision of two magic monsters - Dumbledore and Volandemort began somewhat differently than I expected. Tom did not force events from the first seconds of the meeting, landing near Dumbledore, who was already ready for battle. And if at first I was even somewhat surprised by such behavior, especially remembering Tom's past actions, then I calmed down a little... Tom just decided to talk a little with his long-time teacher and the enemy of his whole life.

Surprisingly, Dumbledore even responded to his opponent, supporting a small but quite calm conversation... The essence of which I hardly ever find out. The distance was too great for me to understand anything from their words, and I can't read lips, alas. Well, I didn't risk using specialized spells for drying at the moment, knowing perfectly well that spells are quite easy to detect, especially when it comes to Tom and Dumbledore.

I already took a lot of risks, reproducing the long-range vision spell to consider the upcoming battle in the smallest details... I even connected Nymphadora to the spell, not regretting spending some of his magic on the girl. Still, the girl herself hardly knew anything like this, but she really wanted to consider what was happening in all the details... So I didn't disappoint her, especially since the conversation between the two magicians didn't drag on, abruptly replaced by a lightning-fast exchange of blows.

At the same time, in this case, Dumbledore, Volandemort preferred to exchange mainly ray spells and curses. Spontaneous magic and transfiguration somehow suddenly found themselves in the background, only a little helping their masters in the heat of battle. Which was quite strange, given that the opponents were masters of transfiguration, and they understood spontaneous magic just perfectly...

But still, they fought mainly with the help of ray spells, as if trying to demonstrate to each other the power of their sticks... Still, ray spells were created to use those exclusively with a wand. It is often quite difficult to convert them into a stickless version. And to use non-verbal ones is another task... Which the highest lich and the winner of Grindewald easily coped with.

And this despite the fact that I could not identify many of their spells at all, not to mention using them myself. At the same time, it was seen that Tom mainly focuses on instant action combat curses and necromancy, which, in view of his nature, should be given to him just fine. Dumbledore, as if in contrast to his former student... and experimental subject, used mainly combat magic, cunning interweaving of charms and necromancy... That part of him that helps to weaken or completely destroy all kinds of undead.

At the same time, none of the magicians managed to get a special advantage, calmly taking other people's spells on all kinds of shields and arranging a real magical storm around themselves with attacking spells... I even began to suspect that it was for this meeting that Dumbledore was saving his strength all this time. After all, if earlier he dealt with opponents, almost household charms, now his serious approach was already felt. At the same time, the opponents did not really want to leave the positions occupied before, fighting exclusively with magical methods and not even thinking of letting pass other people's spells by.

Idiotic, as for me, but who am I to judge these two monsters? Let them measure themselves with their own strength and knowledge, if they want to. I feel better, because even in these couple of seconds since the beginning of the battle, I have already managed to correct quite a bit in my head the image of the two greatest magicians of our time. In addition, watching such a battle still greatly broadened my horizons, allowing me to look from a new side at very, very many spells, and sometimes whole sections of magic.

Still, the way these monsters used necromancy against each other deserves a separate analysis of a couple of thick volumes of the textbook on necromancy. And I'm even going to do this analysis, having scrolled through the battle of these monsters in my head more than a dozen times. But it will all happen later, now I was delighting in the performance, dispersing my own consciousness to the limit with mental magic. This is the only way I managed to fully realize and just keep up with everything that happens between the two magicians.

But Voldemort and Dumbledore fought not only in the visible spectrum. I'm sure mentally they also try each other with all their frenzy. However, so far the fruits of such an invisible duel have not been noticeable. Most likely, none of them could break through the defense of their opponent. However, the speed of the battle itself because of the mental duel, I'm sure, slowed down somewhat. It's not for nothing that I manage to track every movement of two mastodons from magic with relative ease.

You should not overestimate yourself in this case. I'm sure, throw away those battles in the mental sphere, it would be much more difficult for me to keep up with their actions, not to mention any analysis of what is happening. I even began to slowly disassemble the cunning combinations of Dumbledore's charms, which is quite indicative... Although, I drank a potion that accelerates the reaction, and the gift of combat magic, what a surprise, at the moment I was active. Perhaps that's why I can now relatively easily keep up with the actions of two monsters.

Nymphadora vaughn, as far as I can judge by her emotional state, does not really keep up with the events of the battle. Even my spell doesn't help her to understand what's happening just a couple of kilometers away from us... But the girl is still impressed. Even looking at her, I can feel her body tremble slightly with excitement and fear. Fortunately, I've already managed to subdue such a tremor in myself.

However, it still did not save me from the desire to intervene in the battle, especially when the "warm-up" of the two magicians finally came to an end. And ray spells were exactly the warm-up for such monsters. A warm-up, after which they deigned to show me and each other their fighting styles... Completely unreadable fighting styles for me, which combined too much so that I could fully understand what exactly the opponents are trying to apply to their opponent.

Everything went into play, from transfiguration, necromancy and spontaneous magic, to some very specific spells, the mechanism of which I could not even imagine... The lack of knowledge and experience affects. Although, something in me told me that I could easily resist any of these monsters for a while. Even if only due to metamorphism with the magic of blood, which now, apparently, is inaccessible to Tom because of the absence of Vite and blood itself in him, but he could...

Although, of course, I will not risk my own skin to test these vague feelings. Moreover, before the battle with the same Tom, I will have to throw almost a dozen stimulating potions in any case, which are now hidden in the expanded space of my pocket on my pants. And even if my body after all the improvements will most likely be able to withstand the intoxication from drunk potions, but why rape myself like that? It's better to just watch the battle of two of your enemies in order to deal with the rest in the future...

Logic tells me, but the gift of combat magic and the damn blood of the Blacks, which I now, apparently, will always blame for my own thirst for battles, do not agree with it. So it tears me between two contradictions, and even though so far I prefer to listen to logic and follow my own plan, but that's how it will go in the future... Damn, I've only recently managed to subjugate my own curse in some way, so now there's also this problem.

It seems that I just have to be a little crazy to fully match the Black family, of which I am the head... But somehow my thoughts went somewhere wrong. I already lack concentration to analyze all the moves of two really great magicians, so there's also this. You need to calm down a bit, otherwise Tom seems to be preparing to use the Essence of the element - the highest spell of spontaneous magic, which I couldn't get used to the end, despite the fact that I devoted a lot of time to it...

Although young Tom couldn't really cast a spell either. Now he has already managed to become a real monster, instilling his spiritual beast directly into the elements, giving it great power, while not losing control...

Chapter 247

You know, the spell "The Essence of the Element" is a rather "young" spell created on the basis of Patronus, but if Patronus himself is not very demanding to the wizard's control, then this is the Essence of the element... Honestly, I used to think that Tom was not doing very well with the control of his own magic, but he practically does not develop his sensitivity to it. But now I have some doubts about this. Especially after a huge fiery snake almost swallowed Dumbledore, which is far from a beginner in magic.

And I honestly didn't really understand - to be happy that I learned about such opportunities of the Dark Lord in advance, or to grieve because he has these opportunities at all. It's a difficult question, but it was he who made me think that Tom's very long stay in spiritual form should have somehow affected him in terms of strength and capabilities... And if the mind of this magician during this time only plunged deeper into madness, gradually degrading, then here's the power...

Most likely, Tom should have gained his strength. And even if at the moment of the emergence of this idea, there was no special confirmation of this theory, then in a couple of minutes... Dumbledore began to slowly surrender. Surprising, but true! The old magician began to gradually lose the initiative in this battle, increasingly going on the defensive and using increasingly risky maneuvers in his own style. True, it happened so slowly as part of their battle and so imperceptibly for an outside observer that I did not immediately realize what was happening.

And if it weren't for my ability to analyze information at a really exorduous speed, I would never have understood the real state of affairs. The battle of two monsters was too impressive, and the incessant stream of all kinds of spells, including from the highest transfiguration, greatly blurred my eyes, not allowing me to adequately assess the situation... But Dumbledore at some point really began to give up positions, confirming my worst fears.

Although, there was also an option in which the director himself somewhat decreased in strength... Because of the same disease that Snape told me about earlier, so the outcome of this battle still does not speak so clearly about Tom's development. Although it doesn't calm me much, because he has already shown his strength anyway. Well, now I am sure that it will be almost impossible to win this monster in a direct clash. The difference in pure strength and skills between us was even greater than I originally thought.

Although the fight between the Dark Lord and Dumbledore still began to seriously drag on. Especially if you take into account the pace of their battle, which forced a couple of magicians to use three spells of different elements or simply orientation almost every second... But at this pace I would burn out, starting to make mistakes, well if in minutes. These magicians have been fighting for the third minute, let these minutes have long since stretched out for a good hour according to a subjective assessment.

- It's time for us to go, Nymphadora. - I said softly, feeling how much my throat was dry in these few minutes. And the sticky sweat on my back kind of hinted at the level of tension that I experienced in such a short time. Still, the use of mental magic to the maximum was so much a burden on my brains and nerves, and the whole kaleidoscope of emotions that I experienced during this time has already begun to make myself felt.

- Okay. - The girl didn't argue with me, struggling to break away from watching the battle. And even then, she was able to break away only because I disconnected her from my spell, and Dumbledore's battle with Wolandemort began to shift in our direction. A little more and we would be in dangerous proximity to the epicenter of the battle that we had only observed before. And I don't really want to experience the power of Tom's fire spells and the power of Dumbledore's water attacks... Especially since I used water from local decorative ponds for his witchcraft... Even if they were at a respectful distance from the place of battle.

- Just don't rumble this time. - I grinned dryly, trying to relax at least a little before the next stage of the race. I didn't do it very well, especially since Nymphadora, I think, ignored my words, even if she allowed me to calmly throw myself on my shoulder. Apparently, after a recent spectacle, he still doesn't think well. Well, or I just resigned myself to what was on my shoulder - it's faster than running away from the angry Dark Lord in my own way.

In fact, all this was not so important, if only because I already got the opportunity to move normally anyway. And the girl, surprisingly, did not lie on my shoulders with a simple log this time, controlling the surrounding area for possible threats... And not in vain controlling, by the way. During the whole escape, we came across small groups of death eaters, mercenaries or associates of the director more than once.

At the same time, we had to fight almost always. It's banal due to the fact that not one of the groups we met could not identify our allies in us, which led to some problems. However, we were still in no hurry to cancel our own disguise. Well, the fact that a couple of "phoenixes" were a little shabby by us is not so scary, they will be squeeled if no one else gets it. Especially since we still left more beaten devourers behind us.

However, I didn't pay much attention to all this disgrace, still trying not to knock down the pace of my own run, while continuing to watch the fight of two magicians... In this case, just to find out the final outcome of the battle. There was not enough strength and concentration to analyze or at least just understand what was happening in that ill-fated clearing that I had recently run.

But in this case it was not so important, if only because Tom, as if mocking his old enemy, in addition to the battle itself, began to cast some kind of spell on the surrounding territory. Most likely, he was going to help his loyal dogs deal with the enemy... Well, banal mocking Dumbledore, of course. The nature of the Dark Lord just implied some kind of mockery of his opponent, especially since he had already begun to give up positions. Not very active, but started.

In general, yes, I dealt with my opponents rather on reflexes and with the help of pure force, not forgetting to mentally thank my gift of a combat magician, which made my life easier... I literally felt every next movement of my opponent, understood what exactly and how exactly he would do this movement, and also picked up the most convenient means of counteraction from my arsenal... I inherited the amazing gift, even though I had not really developed it yet.

Sometimes it even seemed to me that I spent more energy and attention on controlling my own run than on the skirmishes with devourers and mercenaries. Although, of course, it was somewhat wrong. Just the adrenaline walking on the body, as well as the wild thirst for battle, which had been accumulating since the very beginning of today, created a false feeling of lightness and transience of my battles...

Well, not only being impressed by the battle between two monsters I saw, I seemed to imitate them, put much more strength into my spells than usual, not hesitating to use spontaneous magic... Yes, with such a mood it is not surprising that I sometimes managed to deal with my opponents literally in seconds, continuing to run to the edge of the anti-apparation barrier.

And Nymphadora, what the hell, was not shy about the means, using all the experience gained and her knowledge to eliminate the possible threat that came our way as quickly as possible... We can even say that we managed to complement each other quite well. It was especially good in situations when running prevented me from using the stick normally, and Nymphadora dealt with the devourers on her own...

And I was even ready to bet that my beautiful cousin at some point managed to knock out one of the most famous death eaters - Antonin Dolokhov... Although, maybe it seemed. That devourer put up too little resistance...
