HI3: I Don't Want to Be a Valkyrie

Chapter 119: Chapter 27: Bonded Twins

"What in blazes is happening...?"

In the Demon Realm, Cellinia, Skyfire, Platinum, and their companions watched wide-eyed as destructive flames ravaged the land before them. The devastation was breathtaking.

Such a colossal upheaval... it frightened even the legendary greatest Demon Lord, said to be responsible for the worst natural disasters.

"Oh no, Lady Liliya and Rozaliya are still in there," Cellinia's expression changed instantly. She couldn't resist attempting to charge towards the inferno.

"Cellinia, don't go," Savage restrained her just in time. "That fire's destructive power is immense. Even its aftermath is beyond what we can withstand."

"But Lady Liliya and Rozaliya are still inside!" Cellinia fretted anxiously. She had completely entrusted herself to Rozaliya and Liliya. If anything were to happen to them...

Cellinia couldn't bear to accept that possibility.

"This blaze is extraordinary... even its peripheral aftermath is hundreds of times stronger than my most potent attack. Going there would be suicidal," the cat-eared girl Skyfire said, turning to Cellinia after glancing at the destructive flames ahead.

"Lady Liliiya... Lady Rozaliya..."

"Don't worry! The Heroes should be fine. Their earlier command for us to retreat must have anticipated this event.

In fact, I sense that these devastating flames were caused by the two Hero Twins themselves." Skyfire rested her staff on the ground, her body trembling slightly. So... so immensely powerful she thought, truly befitting of our Demi-human Heroes—born as two twins from the start.

Their strength surpasses that of other Heroes by countless times. There's a high chance they are the strongest Heroes of this generation. The title of 'Strongest Hero' might indeed belong to the Demi-human this time.

To be following such Heroines is an immense fortune.

"Caused by Lady Liliya and Lady Rozaliya..." Cellinia no longer wished to advance, instead feeling awe and admiration...

After Rozaliya drew upon Shamash's power, all the powerful beings across the continent—demon lords, great dragons, heroes, and others—seemed to sense its presence. They paused their actions simultaneously.

However, not everyone took it seriously; some simply ignored it. Others, after brief contemplation, began arranging their forces in response.

-

"Truly deserving of its name as the most destructive divine key.' Even an incomplete strike possesses such tremendous power."

Liliya had escaped beyond the area ravaged by shamash and now gazed at the slowly dissipating flames before her, couldn't help but marvel.

I initially doubted this divine key was genuine, but now it seems unmistakably authentic.

The attack just now was far from perfect; Rozaliya's strike hadn't fully unleashed its potential when she was extinguished by the sheer terror of Shamash's flames—the unchecked release of Honkai energy, the extreme temperatures...

Only someone with an Emperor-grade body could have even attempted to wield it, and even then, Rozaliya failed to fully utilize its power. If a mere mortal had tried...

Still, even without a complete strike, the display of power was awe-inspiring.

Perhaps when she herself became Kallen or Kiana, Liliya would explore whether she could fully harness the divine key.

In that case... destroying a continent with a single blow, shattering space, or even slaying gods... would truly become a gesture as simple as waving one's hand.

Although...

I have a feeling our class monitor could accomplish the same.

Once the flames had fully dissipated, Liliya ventured into the graveyard.

However, it could no longer be called a graveyard. All the graves, skeletons, zombies, and ghosts had vanished without a trace.

The Fire had reduced everything to nothing.

The once-sinister graveyard lay as scorched earth, emanating a suffocating heat.

When Liliya arrived at the site of Rozaliya's demise, there was nothing left.

The zombie dragon... all completely gone.

Thankfully, when Rozaliya chose death, her body had instantly deteriorated, meaning she likely hadn't suffered much pain.

And neither had Liliya.

Rozaliya... I can tell she passed peacefully.

"Blood... Twin Bond, Revive! Rozaliya."

Using their twin blood bond, Liliya felt her body growing weaker and weaker, as if her very life was being forcibly extracted.

Just as Liliya could barely stand, feeling herself on the verge of collapse—

Rozaliya suddenly appeared out of thin air... no, it seemed more like she emerged directly from Liliya's body, materializing beside her and swiftly supporting her.

"Rozaliya!"

As Liliya beheld her revived sister, she couldn't help but exhale deeply. Though she knew resurrection was possible, worry had still gnawed at her.

"You fool, Liliya," Rozaliya chided softly, "you've even started crying..."

Rozaliya supported Liliya, gazing into her eyes that brimmed with unshed tears. Unable to resist... she spoke with warmth and a smile before gently wiping Liliya's eyes.

"It's nothing, just some dust got in my eyes," Liliya hastily replied, averting Rozaliya's attempt to comfort her further.

"Oh-ho, you mean to say that without me, dear Liliya, you wouldn't have survived this ordeal, right?"

"Of course not, you dimwit..."

"Alright, Liliya, let's head back now!"

-

"What's that?"

Just as Liliya and Rozaliya were about to depart, they spotted a shimmering crystal nearby.

"I don't know." Liliya shook her head.

"Let's go take a look!"

Rozaliya hoisted Liliya onto her back and walked over to the crystal.

Reviving Rozaliya had cost Liliya roughly a quarter of her life essence, leaving her frail body even weaker than before.

Although Rozaliya had just been resurrected and hadn't fully recovered yet, she was still in much better shape than Liliya. Naturally, Rozaliya took on the task of carrying her little sister.

Rozaliya carried Liliya on her back and walked until they reached a sparkling place where she discovered a dark red crystal, about the size of a human fist, with twelve surfaces.

There was also a very powerful energy inside it.

"It feels like some sort of treasure."

Rozaliya put Liliya down and picked up the crystal.

Dragon Crystal discovered.

Do you want to use it? :::

When Rozaliya picked up the crystal, the System's voice spoke to her.

"Dragon Crystal? It feels very powerful..."

"Yes! Use it!"

Usage successful: +1000 Crystals obtained.

"One thousand crystals! So many... I've hit the jackpot!"

Rozaliya had thought she'd be doing well to get a couple of hundred, never expecting a thousand crystals.

This time dying was worth it...
