Chapter 33: Chapter 33

Are you okay?" Alastor approaches the clumsy Sister and gives her a hand so she can stand up.

Asia looked up at him, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment. "Auu… Why do I keep on tripping over…" she mumbled to herself, clearly frustrated by her own clumsiness. Her green eyes met Alastor's, and she quickly tried to compose herself. "Oh, I'm sorry. Thank you very much~," she added, her tone full of gratitude as she reached out and took his hand.

Alastor gripped her hand firmly but gently, helping her to her feet with ease. "It's no trouble at all," he reassured her, his eyes scanning her for any signs of injury. "Are you hurt?"

Asia shook her head, a small, shy smile playing on her lips. "No, I'm okay. Just a bit clumsy, that's all. Thank you for helping me."

Alastor chuckled softly, noticing her slight nervousness. "It looks like you're new to the town," he observed, his tone light and friendly.

Asia nodded, her smile widening a little as she looked up at him. "Yes, I am. I just arrived here recently. Everything is so different, and I'm still trying to find my way around."

"Oh, where to?" Alastor asked but he can already guess the answer to that.

But since he is playing same role as issei for the anime he need ask that question.

Asia hesitated for a moment, looking a bit uncertain, but then she nodded. "To the church," she confirmed, her voice soft and sincere. "I'm supposed to meet someone there."

Alastor nodded, "I figured as much," he said warmly. "The church is a bit tricky to find if you're not familiar with the town. I can show you the way if you'd like. I know this place like the back of my hand. "

Said Alastor who just came a month ago.

Asia's eyes brightened with relief. "That would be wonderful! I was worried I might get lost again."

"No worries," Alastor assured her. "I'll make sure you get there safely."

She smiled at him, her eyes filling with tears of gratitude, he felt an unexpected tug at his heart.

"Y-You do! T-Thank you~! This is all thanks to God!" she exclaimed, her voice full of genuine emotion.

Alastor couldn't help but chuckle softly. This girl is really something, he thought, a mix of amusement and concern running through his mind.

She was so sincere, so unguarded, and that made her... well, cute, in a way that was almost disarming.

But then his gaze drifted to the rosary hanging from her neck, glowing faintly against her chest, and he felt a wave of discomfort roll through him.

Even when he saw that light spere from the fallen angel he didn't get this discomfort.

Of course, he thought, as a devil, it was only natural for him to feel a negative reaction to a holy object like that.

She was the kind of human he should avoid, someone who was naturally opposed to his very existence.

And yet, he couldn't just leave her on her own as he need a good impression.

I am really staring feel like a brain death, novel protagonist now, He thought.

Of course, he can only think that way because if he took his "I don't give a fuck" Personality then Asia will die, it's confirmed event.

Since Alastor has took Issei's sacred gear, in this world there is no protagonist. And Asia was supposed to saved by Issei but that won't happen now.

So, despite the warning bells ringing in the back of his mind, he continued walking with her toward the church.

They passed through a quiet park on the way, the peacefulness of the surroundings interrupted by the sudden cry of a young boy.

"Uwaaaaaah!"

Alastor glanced over, noticing a small boy who had tripped and fallen, his mother rushing to his side. "Are you alright, Yosh-kun?" she asked, her voice full of concern.

He'll be fine, Alastor thought, ready to continue walking, when he noticed that Asia had stopped.

She had a look of deep concern on her face as she watched the boy, and without a word, she turned and walked toward the park.

Ah, Fuck.

"Hey," Alastor called after her.

But she didn't stop.

He followed her as she approached the crying boy, who was clutching his scraped knee. The mother looked up, startled, as Asia knelt down beside the child.

"Are you okay?" Asia asked, her voice gentle as she patted the boy's head. "Boys shouldn't cry over a little injury like this."

There was a calm, soothing presence in her actions.

She was completely focused on the boy, her worry for him overshadowing any concern for herself.

It was the kind of selfless behavior that both baffled and intrigued him.

Alastor stood a few steps behind her, watching the scene unfold. He couldn't help but wonder how someone so naive, so unguarded, could survive in a world as dark as this one.

But there she was, completely unafraid, driven by her compassion and kindness, qualities that Alastor found both admirable and somewhat troubling.

Troubling because Alastor need to work hard to make Asia someone more than this navie, innocent girl, who doesn't know that the very person she help can backstab her.

She was the type of person who could easily get hurt, and for some reason, that thought didn't sit well with him.

Still, he kept his thoughts to himself,
