Hogwarts Alchemist

After Obelia told Draco all about her Alchemy skills she showed him a few of her artifacts.

"This is my most impressive work, my Diamond earring, able to store almost anything inside." She said pushing her hair back and showing her dangling earring. She then sat next to Draco so he could get a better look. "Take a look at the silver near the earring, it has some runic inscriptions on it."

"I see… if you teach me would I be able to make such a thing?" Draco asked, looking at the gold watch Obelia placed on the desk. 'I'm so interested, but she doesn't seem to want to talk about her watch, no matter how much I try to bring it up, why? Wasn't she the one who brought it up!?' Draco frowned for a bit before turning his attention back to Obelia.

"I know you're interested in the watch, but it's not as amazing as you think," Obelia said picking it up after noticing Draco stare at it. "3 seconds, you only get 3 seconds, and you pay the price for it," Obelia said before watching it vanish into a thin white fog. "But who knows, maybe those three seconds may change something."

Draco looked at the now empty palm before standing up with his notebook, he felt like he just took a very hard class. "If we are done chatting, can we pass by Diagon Alley before heading to Hogwarts?"

Obelia smiled and nodded her head, "Gin, while I'm gone get some strawberry seeds." Obelia said before grabbing Draco's hand. "Make sure to think about Diagon Alley and only Diagon Alley, …you go first this time."

"Ugh, this again…" Draco looked at the purple marble in his hand before frowning. "Let's make this quick…" Draco said before cracking the marble in his mouth and vanishing into purple particles.

"Gin… if Uncle Han comes back tell him I need more medicine …" Obelia said before cracking the marble in her mouth.

"Why are we here again?" Obelia asked lifting her black cloak she had over her normal clothes and glanced at Draco who was leaning on a wall.

"Ugh… how do you not suffer any symptoms after consuming that disgusting thing?" Draco asked holding his head and pressing his back against the wall.

"You get used to it after some time… Anyway can you answer my question? I'd like to head to the library since it's Saturday." Obelia took out her silver pocket watch and frowned. 'I can cover up my tracks just fine, but if Draco causes any incidents while out I'll be punished by the headmaster,… why didn't I think this through?'

"What's wrong? Why the long face? Draco asked noticing Obelia take out another black cloak and draping it over Draco.

"I just remembered the professors have lives too, the odds we run into them are few, but not zero," Obelia said making sure to cover Draco's blond hair completely before letting out a sigh.

"Well, I only plan to get a few potion materials, so we should be in and out before we run into anyone," Draco said moving forward into Diagon Alley and opening the door of an apothecary store. " I was to make a babbling beverage a give it to Harry Potter so he can-"

"Hm? What's wrong Draco? Can get your tongue?" Obelias asked walking in as well only to stop after noticing a tall shadow looming over both of them.

"Maybe if we don't move he won't see us."

Draco said in a whisper, and Obelias couldn't help but smile at the nonsense he was spouting. Obelias grabbed Draco's hand before Snape, the tall shadow spoke and ran out of the store with Draco.

"Let's go back quickly, I doubt he will be saying anything since we are both Slytherin, he might not even recognize us since we both covered our faces," Obelias said, this time not waiting for Draco's answer and handing him another purple marble. "Library, think about the Hogwarts library."

"Library got it." Draco nodded before cracking the marble, and Obelia noticed the tall shadow making there way towards her. 'Catch me if you can~'

"I'm worried…" Draco said, an hour had passed by and he thought he would be brought into the potions class and scolded. "I'm sure he noticed it was us, he isn't blind."

"Ha, you're lingering too much on the past, but if you're so worried I guess I can help." Obelia handed a small silver ring to Draco before continuing, "This prevents legilimency, it contains a powerful occlumency spell, however, it will wear off eventually, so make sure to avoid direct eye contact, that's the easiest way to avoid legilimency after all."

Draco took the ring and examined its inscriptions before placing it on his finger, "what about you?" He asked as he noticed her put glasses on. "… why the glasses?"

"It also prevents legilimency, and makes me feel smart." Obelia looked up after hearing a sound behind Draco. They were both by the window and in a corner of the library. "I heard something… no… someone…" Obelia placed down the book she had on her and walked towards the sound, noticing three students together squatting down.

"What are you three doing here? I doubt it was to study?" Obelia said before waving over to Draco to take a look at the three. 'I just heard them so they must have just arrived as noticed us chatting, but you can never be too sure.' Obelia stared at the three troublemakers who would be known as the golden trio and frowned.

Hermione was the first to get up and speak, "We were taking a tour of Hogwarts, and then we noticed you two chatting and didn't want to bother." Hermione had a very convincing story, but her eyes darted left and right and she spoke in an uncertain tone.

"Is that so, they why were the three of you squatting down?" Obelia asked tilting her head, enjoying the look of embarrassment from the three.

"F-fine, we were spying, but only for a bit!" Ron caved under Obelia's cold eyes and confessed before glancing at Hermione, "B-but it was all Hermione's idea!" Hermione turned to look at Ron, giving him the 'Are you an idiot?' Look and both Obelia and Draco looked at each other.

'What's going on with these three?' They both thought before both received a chill down each other's spine noticing a familiar tall shadow loom over the five of them.

"I finally found you two"

'Oh… so he did recognize us.'
