Since Felix's first birthday, his fantasy was shattered. Felix has fallen into a new layer of anxiety on top of being a 15 year-old spirit in a 1 year-old body.
Even if Felix is easily distracted, he could notice the surroundings of him. Unexpectedly, he was born before Harry Potter could be born, the protagonist of the book he so loved.
Yet that wasn't the worrying fact, he was born before Harry's parents was even born, or even their grandparents. He was actually born in the year 1908 in the backwards society without internet, or any glimpse to the future he a 21st century boy have gotten accustomed too.
At that time he didn't know he was born into the Wizardry World, or that he has magical affinity. What he only knows at that time is that he have been reincarnated in a backwards society.
At first he thought it was a dream, or that he is in limbo suffering from not being either a good man, or a bad man. Thus making his soul stuck in-between heaven or hell. But reality is oftentimes stranger than fiction, and he quickly found out that wasn't the case at all.
When he was 8 years old, nothing yet but a growing boy he felt frustrated in doing a chore. And that'll be controlling the younger children and some older children in the orphanage.
Apparently there have been some disagreements from one group to another, about sports, and then about a girl they liked. The problem escalated and before Felix could stop it, there were already children on the ground, with some bloodied and swollen from punching one another.
This quickly became worrying when no volunteer was inside the orphanage due to a lack of payment, which caused them to revolt. The matron, which was supposedly the head of the orphanage was nowhere in sight, too busy playing with younger men.
Worried, and having the emotion of a child at that time, even though he is 22 year-old in that time, soul wise. With Felix not being able to do anything, he yelled.
His composure that he had cultivated for years breaking in one point, his bottled anger blowing up in one go. Causing the children in his surroundings to unexpectedly stop moving, seemingly stuck in time.
Confused the children who were once punching, kicking, and biting one another at the point of blood stopped. Paused, their eyeballs being the only thing they could move.
They couldn't do a thing but instead stare at Felix, then at the other children who didn't join in the rumble. All of them not knowing what happened, or what was happening.
But to Felix who have abused his time in gaining another life knew what happened. With his eyes seeing treads of thick blue air around the children, then around the surroundings.
Years later he'll find out that this is called Accidental Magic, and a phenomenal feat at that. Usually Accidental Magic is only done at a smaller scale; teleportation, hair growth, and levitation to boot.
But to Felix who have been bottling his emotions since he was a kid, as to not appear weak, this was released all in one go, and that was the scene when the children we're fighting. All of which became tame days, weeks, and years later when Felix had to step up.
The more Felix became angrier, the more he used his emotions, the more he wants something to happen as long as it's possible and imaginable, it'll happen. He used this in his favor as to better the welfare of children around him, the abandoned orphaned children of Saint Jude in the year 1915 became much more educated compared to others because of him constantly forcing them to study.
Even when he received his letter, from the Wizardry World in the year 1918 July 2, he was immediately caught in a wave of unexplainable emotions. The leader of the bandit-like group of children was actually reincarnated into the world that he is very much familiar with. At the Wizardry World.
Excitedly he handed his reigns of work to his brothers and sisters, telling them to expand, and help others in need while he pursued his educational prowess occasionally going back home when available.
The Deputy Headmistress at that time, Mrs. Weasley being the tour guide he had which introduced him into the Wizardry World, about the Diagon Alley, accompanied him to buy supplies, his Wand, trusty friend, and more importantly books.
Who would have known that the Weasley Family that have been so poor in the original works would have an ancestor which would have been so rich, and so kind as to pass down her knowledge and guide him when he was still but a child.
Same year, September 1 he entered the King's Cross train station which wasn't called that at the time — Broad Ford, Bradford Bridge, or even Battle Bridge, those were the names associated with the cross station which lead to Platform 9 ¾.
Running into the platform like what Mrs. Weasley told him, and what the stationed wizard guard told him, he then went past through the walls.
Then everything fell into pieces. Hogwarts Express, socializing, the boat ride into Hogwarts, scolding by the Deputy Headmistress, and then Sorting. He prayed in his heart to be placed in Gryffindor.
Gryffindor please, Gryffindor please, Gryffindor please.
He practically chanted those words when the dusty hat was placed on top of his head, after a ton of bickering he was then placed into House Slytherin, and became a hatstall. Lasted longer than 5 minutes, 5 minutes and 38 seconds in fact.
Many complained, many grumbled, but he didn't care. He quite liked the new house he found himself in, the Headmaster at that time; Headmaster Black is a Slytherin. So the favoritism rolled into his favor.
Other fellow Slytherin didn't like seeing a Muggleborn into their house, bigots really. A few confrontations here, a few confrontations there, he was beaten black and blue. Feeling a sense of shame he practiced magic, Charms to be more specific as to get back at them.
After years of hiding, years of hard-work, years of suffering from insomnia and roaming Hogwarts Grounds at night, he was finally able to set his name in stone in his Hogwarts years — becoming quite well known to the student body as the rebellious snake who hated pretentious snakes.
At the very least in the eyes of the other three houses, and of the Professors. In some senses he unexpectedly cultivated the aura that Tom Marvolo Riddle had when he was but a Slytherin Student, but in his case he wasn't ashamed of his Muggleborn lineage, even embracing it, clinging to it and not throwing it away like other fakes.
Even though he showed this gentleman, quiet, humble, helpful know-it-all persona. Others seem to think differently, one Gryffindor girl the same year as him seems to have developed a strong hatred, or, subtle form of rivalry with him.
He doesn't know if it's because he keeps winning in Quidditch as the Seeker, or if it's about him being unlike the other Slytherins, or if it's about him being the Prefect against the odds. Or if it's about them constantly winning the House Cup.
Or if it's relating to academics — Transfiguration being one of his weakest subjects, which seems to be her forte. Weird girl, really, Felix doesn't completely understand but he likes the feeling, loves it even.
But that's a story for another day. Today he'll have to deliver the first-ever batch of Hogwarts Acceptance Letters.
