Hogwarts: The Unscientific Wizard (TL)

With a thud –

The train compartment door slid open, and Harry and Ron stood in the doorway, each carrying a huge suitcase. Harry looked embarrassed and asked, "Is it okay to sit together? All the compartments were full on the way here."

"Of course!" Hermione gathered her things and got up to sit next to Andy.

"Thanks!" After putting their luggage down, Harry and Ron sat opposite Andy and Hermione.

Andy gave Hermione a look and shrugged helplessly.

He forgot to lock the door.

Hermione raised an eyebrow and said, "You haven't answered my question yet."

"It's not in the book!" Andy helplessly patted his forehead.

Having a serious girlfriend is not a good thing.

"So you're just making it up?"

Hermione said with righteous indignation, "I really had this dream. Andy, magic is a serious discipline; you shouldn't experiment with it carelessly."

"OK! Of course, I won't."

Andy nodded and continued, "By the way, I'm now considered an authority on a certain discipline of magic. Dreams are often the opposite of what they seem, at least in most cases."

Hermione: "…"

Andy is considered an authority on a certain discipline of magic?

In terms of fame and experience, he definitely isn't.

But if you consider his strength—at least in the field of the fusion of mind and magic—Andy can be viewed as an authority.

It's just that...

For some reason, Hermione often feels that Andy is a bit unreliable, and it seems he's lying to her in everything he says.

Until the train started moving, Andy and Hermione continued to argue with references to the classic theories, and neither could convince the other.

In the end, Andy gave in.

There was no way around it; the topic was completely pointless.

"Let's read," Andy suggested.

"Hmph!" Hermione rolled her eyes at Andy and gave a pouty huff.

She felt that Andy had only said that to reassure her.

However, as Andy's girlfriend, she felt obligated to keep an eye on him and stop him from engaging in risky magic experiments.

Andy ran a hand over his nose.

He would never argue with Hermione again.

There was no benefit in winning, and if he lost, he would be laughed at.

No matter how you look at it, it's always a lose-lose situation.

In the opposite seat, Harry and Ron saw Andy and Hermione, each holding a book and reading it. They exchanged a glance, and Ron said with disbelief, "You two are really hard-working, reading even on the train."

"Of course, time is precious," Andy replied without looking up.

Ron looked at Harry for help.

Harry looked helpless and could only make an expression of helplessness.

In this environment, Harry and Ron felt that it was a sin to speak more than necessary.

They couldn't disturb other people studying, could they?

But if they didn't say a word, it would be very awkward.

The train continued on its way.

While Andy and Hermione were engrossed in their reading, Harry and Ron, who were opposite them, felt like sitting on pins and needles and could only look out of the window at the scenery to pass the time.

With a clang –

The compartment door opened again. A train attendant stood in the doorway with a trolley full of snacks. "Would you like to buy some snacks?"

"I'll take them all!"

Harry took out a fistful of gold galleons with a sense of relief. "Andy, Hermione! It's already noon. You must be hungry, right?"

"Has it been that long?" Andy put the bookmark in his book, closed it, and then stretched his arms high in the air.

"Let's eat first!"

Hermione took out some snacks from her pocket and said, "I brought some Muggle snacks. Do you want to trade?"

"Sure!" Ron immediately agreed.

At mealtime, Andy naturally didn't discuss magic.

After glancing at Harry, Andy asked, "Harry, I assume nothing unexpected happened during the holidays."

"What do you mean?"

Harry was taken aback for a moment, then he realised what Andy meant and replied, "Nothing happened. I've been spending all this time training my spellcasting with Sirius."

"Have you been out and around?" Andy asked again.

"No!" Harry shook his head.

That's right...

Andy mused.

"What's going on? What are you talking about?" Ron looked puzzled.

Harry explained, "You know, Voldemort's been eyeing me. Andy was asking about that."

Ron immediately shivered.

Harry continued, "I've been waiting for him for more than ten days, but he's a coward and doesn't dare come and find me."

"This is not a good thing, Harry."

Andy said. "The longer Voldemort doesn't act, the more it means he's planning something big. It means he's more patient than before."

Harry was puzzled. "Patient? Why? Sirius said the same thing, but he was reluctant to tell me the reason."

Hermione explained, "Voldemort is very unstable for some...special reasons. But he's doing nothing, which means he feels that this plan will be foolproof."

Andy also frowned slightly.

The current situation was very different from the original.

Voldemort already had three helpers on the surface, one of whom, Peter Pettigrew, was completely out of control.

Therefore, Voldemort could be resurrected at any time.

Dumbledore is in control of the situation, but there is no way to be completely sure.

Ron finds this hard to believe: "Do you think the Dark Lord is going to try to attack Hogwarts? Dumbledore is there!"

"He did manage to do it last year," Hermione said.

Ron was at a loss for words.

"Forget it! It's no use thinking about it."

Andy said, "The only thing we can do now is take precautions against any possible crisis."

"Especially...after this return to school!"

Harry was startled. "Andy, do you think...Voldemort will be among the students and take the opportunity to infiltrate Hogwarts?"

"No, it can't be." Ron was already nervous.

Andy nodded. "This is the easiest way. All it takes is a single Imperius Curse."

"Just like my pocket..."

As he said this, Andy showed Harry and Ron his pocket. "The Undetectable Extension Charm! On the surface, it's just a pocket. But in reality, it can hold ten people inside."

Harry: "..."

Ron's face twisted with bitterness. "We can't check everyone's pockets, can we?"

Andy shrugged. "That's why the second half of the school year is dangerous, especially for you, Ron."

"Harry will survive! But you...you're not worth much to Voldemort."
