Hogwarts: The Unscientific Wizard (TL)

Chapter 510: Chapter 510: Harry encounters Peter Pettigrew!

"You..."

Andy was about to make a few harsh criticisms, but he decided against it, considering that such a lecture from someone of the same age would be unpleasant and that he had no obligation to admonish Harry.

"Good afternoon, Harry," Andy said in a normal tone.

"Good afternoon, both of you. Sorry to disturb you,"

Harry asked again after the greeting, "Andy, how did you find me?"

"The Disillusionment Charm has many flaws, such as smell, footsteps, breathing, and so on. A wizard with some experience can detect your presence," Andy explained half-heartedly.

Harry had already left the castle, which meant he could be in danger.

Andy didn't want to get involved in this big trouble.

"Okay..." Harry was a little helpless.

He thought he could fool everyone with the Disillusionment Charm, but Andy directly found his presence.

"I won't disturb you. I'll go and explore somewhere else." Harry was sensible enough to know when to leave after a few words.

"Be careful," Andy reminded him.

"Don't worry." Harry looked very confident.

Waving his wand, Harry once again disappeared.

Hermione looked a little conflicted, as if she wanted to say something.

Andy cast a silencing charm and raised an eyebrow. "You want to talk about Harry?"

"He's in danger," Hermione said seriously.

Although Hermione knew that to defeat Voldemort, he must be resurrected once, she was not sure why Voldemort had to capture Harry.

What did Harry have to do with Voldemort's resurrection?

Therefore, Hermione believes Harry is in danger and could even lose his life at any time.

"Gryffindors always want to show off their courage."

Andy also looked speechless and said, "But they can't distinguish between courage and recklessness."

"What do we do now?" Hermione asked.

"I'll go and inform Professor Dumbledore!" With that, Andy waved his wand and summoned the Fat Cat Patronus.

"Go!" Andy said.

The Fat Cat Patronus nodded and flew through the wall toward Hogwarts Castle.

"The Patronus Charm can be used to send messages," Andy explained.

Hermione nodded slightly.

Since Dumbledore had been notified, there was nothing to worry about.

The young witch took a sip of butterbeer and then picked up the thick book, continuing to leaf through the pages.

"Wipe your mouth," Andy reminded with a smile.

Hermione gave Andy a sidelong glance and took a napkin to wipe the foam from the corner of her mouth.

Andy snickered at this.

In fact, Andy already had a guess as to why Voldemort wanted Harry's blood to resurrect himself.

Because Voldemort wanted to decipher the protective charm Lily had left on Harry.

He wanted that power!

As for why Dumbledore turned a blind eye to this and even secretly facilitated it... Andy also had a vague guess.

But this guess couldn't be told to Hermione.

I, Andy, will keep my mouth zipped!

After leaving the Three Broomsticks Inn, Harry wandered around Hogsmeade.

But no matter how interesting a place is, it's not much fun if you're all alone.

Harry soon got bored.

So he decided to check out the Shrieking Shack.

It was the most famous haunted house in the British wizarding world and was extremely popular among Hogwarts students. Every young wizard who visited Hogsmeade for the first time would go there.

Harry was naturally curious about it too.

The Shrieking Shack was located in the north-west of Hogsmeade, a fair distance from the centre of the village.

Once he was away from the crowds, Harry decisively cancelled the Disillusionment Charm.

He had gone invisible in Hogsmeade because he was worried about being discovered by the professors. Now that he was outside Hogsmeade, Harry naturally wanted to carry out his plan.

He was going to lure Snape out!

'Come on, Snape! Don't be a coward,' Harry thought to himself.

Soon, Harry was outside the Shrieking Shack.

There was really nothing to see here.

The Shrieking Shack had no door and no windows, so there was no way to get in from the outside. If you just stood outside and looked at it, the Shrieking Shack was just an ordinary shack, even a bit dilapidated.

Harry walked around the Shrieking Shack.

"There's no danger at all!"

Harry seemed a little disappointed. "Does Snape not know I'm here? Or... is he just too scared to do anything?"

"You mean Snape?"

A voice suddenly sounded. "He does seem like a villain, which saves me a lot of trouble. As long as he's around, your attention will always be on him."

"Who?" Harry shouted.

Although Harry's 'plan' was to lure the person behind the scenes out, when the moment really came, Harry still felt a little panicked.

After all, he was only fourteen years old.

He was still a young boy.

But Harry quickly calmed down. He raised his wand and pointed it in the direction of the voice with full vigilance.

There was a figure there.

In the shadows of the Shrieking Shack, a short, fat figure took two slow steps forward. "Long time no see, Harry. I never thought we'd meet under this circumstance."

Seeing his face, Harry immediately gnashed his teeth with hatred, "Peter Pettigrew!!!"

Peter Pettigrew looked a little smug, as if he already had the upper hand. "You look just like James, but your eyes are more like your mother's."

"Shut up!"

Harry's eyes were red with anger as he shouted, "You have no right to mention their names!"

Peter Pettigrew took two more steps forward.

He was indeed feeling a little smug.

He had shared a dormitory with Harry for two years, so he knew Harry very well.

Likewise, he knew exactly how much Harry hated Snape.

So he came up with this plan.

By using Snape as bait, he could keep Harry's attention firmly fixed on him.

As for the method of luring Harry out, that was even simpler.

He didn't even need to make a plan for that.

He knew Harry, so he knew that if he was given the chance, Harry would come running out and jump right into his trap.

Just like he did now!

That's very much befitting of a Gryffindor, isn't it?

James was like that, Sirius was like that, so Harry was like that too.

Their character traits were so easy to target.

"Harry..."

Peter Pettigrew explained leisurely, "Dumbledore must not have expected that no matter how tight his precautions were if you were given the chance, you would come running out on your own."

"That's why I used the Imperius Curse to control George and Fred."

"You see..."

Having said this, Peter Pettigrew quickly raised his wand, "That Black fellow should have taught you, shouldn't he? When you encounter an enemy, don't waste any time talking to them; you have to seize the initiative as soon as possible."
