"Excuse me, but can I get a suit like the one used to collect honey from beehives?" Touta asked, staring at Buhara and Menchi.

"Hmm, why?" Menchi gazed at Touta with a smile, feeling that this teenager was going to surprise her somehow.

"He told us to use pork as the main ingredient, but he didn't specify what we should use to season it or how to cook it. So, I want to use honey in cooking, and that's why I need a suit to protect me from bee stings while collecting the honey," Touta explained. This was one of his reasons for wanting the suit, but the bigger reason was that he didn't want to touch the pigs.

"I see... what you want is inside," Menchi nodded in approval, seemingly pleased that someone had an interest in cooking, and not minding the teasing she had given them.

"Thank you," Touta nodded at both of them and walked toward the small storage they had indicated. "What do you think, Kuroumaru? Do you want one too?"

"Mm," Kuroumaru nodded. He had to admit that he felt disgusted by the pigs after hearing what Touta had said, and he swore to himself that he would never touch or eat pork again.

Under the curious gazes of Menchi and Buhara, the two got what they needed from the storage. There were many useful cooking items, and they didn't hesitate to take them, as they would need them for cooking.

Once they had what they needed, the two donned their protective suits and placed the other items by their assigned mini-kitchens. They then left the area.

"What do you think, Buhara?" Menchi asked, gazing at the backs of Touta and Kuroumaru with an interested smile.

"It seems we can expect something from this year's beginners," Buhara smiled knowingly, watching as the two walked away.

"That's true," Menchi agreed, nodding. She closed her eyes, awaiting the return of everyone, especially Touta, as it was clear that he wasn't fond of cooking.

"Touta-kun, look over there," Kuroumaru said, pointing to a nearby tree that clearly had a beehive. "Should I go get the honey?"

"I'll leave it to you, as I need to gather some herbs to season the food," Touta replied, collecting herbs from the ground. It was clear that this location had been carefully chosen, as there were many herbs and ingredients used for cooking.

There were many useful herbs, including ginger, lemon leaves, cilantro, garlic, and pepper, among others.

Touta strolled leisurely through the forest with Kuroumaru while collecting the herbs that would be useful for seasoning the meat. Although he had never eaten pork before, he had seen many people cook it, so he didn't have any trouble preparing it. He was skilled at mimicking others.

It didn't take long before Touta finished gathering enough herbs for ten people. He had gathered enough for himself, Kuroumaru, Gon, and the others. Despite Gon spending a lot of time with Killua and the others since the Hunter Exam started, Touta hadn't forgotten him, especially since they had been friends for two years without anyone else to befriend.

"I'm done gathering the honey," Kuroumaru said, appearing in front of Touta with two large jars filled with fresh honey. There were also many bees buzzing around him because he had stolen the honey from them.

"Great, now we just need to gather some fruits to decorate the dish and get the main ingredient," Touta said. He had also finished collecting the herbs and wasn't bothered by the bees surrounding them, as they couldn't get through their protective suits.

The two quickly walked and gathered vegetables and fruits. There were many apple trees, lemon trees, and others nearby.

"What's that sound...?" Touta murmured as he heard a noise, as if a giant were walking.

"Touta-kun!! Look over there," Kuroumaru said, pointing to where other applicants were searching for pigs.

"Pigs!! They're huge!" Touta shouted in astonishment, as this was the first time he had seen pigs of such size. They easily weighed between 200 and 300 kg due to their size.

"It looks like we've found the main ingredient, the final one," Kuroumaru said with a smile. A magical circle appeared near him, and a simple sword materialized from it.

"Then I'll leave the hunting of the pigs to you," Touta said, taking the honey jars from Kuroumaru.

"Leave it to me," Kuroumaru smiled, not hesitating to charge toward the pigs. With a simple movement of his sword, he severed the head of one of the pigs.

"I'll go ahead and prepare things. Catch up with me when you're done," Touta said as he left. Kuroumaru would need some time to cut up the pigs, remove the blood, tendons, and bones, etc.

"It seems he's back," Menchi commented, noticing how Touta had returned with many items in hand.

"But it doesn't look like he's carrying any pig with him," Buhara remarked, noticing that there was no pork with Touta despite him having many other ingredients.

"It must be his companion who is going to get the pork, while he'll take care of the seasoning and spices," Menchi guessed, seeing how Touta placed the herbs and other ingredients down, beginning to wash, grind, and mix them.
