Fuck.

Fuck. Fuck. Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck. I am running down the street, dashing and sometimes bumping into people even though I am trying to avoid that and getting blasted with expletives. I still run. I am still running.

I am so late. And when I finally arrive, chest heaving, panting like an animal maybe because I am an- and wow- still panting, I am looking at a gorgeous man.... gorgeous... gorgeous...man....and he....lifts his gaze and looks at me and then I suddenly become self-conscious about how ridiculous I must be looking.

I quickly look away, feeling myself getting flushed.

"Oh." Says a woman from behind me, whom I turn to. "You two are here." She smiles.

What? Us two? I look around and there are no other people around and paying attention to her except for me and the handsome man I saw as soon as I arrived.

"I apologise for being late." She says, scratching her back.

"Oh." I say. "No no no no. It's alright." After all, I was late myself. Heheh. Phew. Saved by the bell. Or my legs, but let's not dwell on that.

I notice that the woman is eyeing both me and the guy, who is now standing beside me. Her eyeballs shift from me to him and back to me and so and so forth.

She smiles. Her smile is pretty not gonna lie. Beautiful light green hair and yellow eyes. Her cheeks are pink now. I wonder what species she is. And what species this guy is!

"I think you two have already guessed it that you two are going to team up." She beams. And I nod.

"Great." She continues. "Very well then! Please, help each other in finding an amazing mate! And for that, you have to live with each other and find out each other m's preferences and make plans." She gives a creepy smile to us. "So, we have prepared a mansion as per requested instead of an apartment!"

She turns around and motions at us to follow her while I watch her agape. Request? A mansion? Hell nah! I am not that rich and I didn't make such a request so.... it's this guy beside me! Damn, ok!

Handsome. Check.

I notice that they have walked quite far ahead and I run to catch up with with. Soon, we get inside the building a few steps away from where we were standing.

"Here." She hands out a pen and a paper to us as we sit down on a couch. "Please, sign the agreement." And we both takes turns to read it and finally we sign it without complains. No catch, yet.

"Ok. You may go now." And as soon as that woman says that, the guy stands up and starts leaving and I quickly follow him.

"Um- well, hello." I say, "When should we move in?" I ask.

"Since, the contract is effective as soon as we have signed it, it's better to move in today." He says, looking at me, for the first time ever since I arrived. "Move in, today."

"Can you give me the address?" I ask.

"Give me yours. My driver will go pick you up later on at night. Pack" He says. "As soon as your reach your place. Do not get me in trouble."

I frown. Why does he think I will get him in trouble? You know what? I will now! I will get you in trouble, hmph! And I leave, making my way back to the bus stop and back home.
