I Am Hades, Lord of the Underworld!

"Mephistopheles. Moirai. Oneiroi." Hades pondered deeply.

Moirai and Oneiroi are both composite gods, fusions of multiple entities, making them quite unique.

Because of this, as the fusion of the four Goddesses of Fate and the 3,000 Dream Gods, Moirai and Oneiroi possess powers that nearly rival those of Mephistopheles.

This is what Hypnos and Thanatos had mentioned: if the 3,000 Dream Gods had been born earlier, during the time when Hades's World Tree devoured the World Tree of Hyperion, then Oneiroi might have become the first Underworld God to ascend to the level of a God-King.

The reason is simple—Oneiroi is an exceptionally unique god.

In essence, Oneiroi is the son of Nyx, making him a sibling to Hypnos and Thanatos.

However, from another perspective, Oneiroi is also considered the son of Hypnos, as the 3,000 Dream Gods were born due to Hypnos, the God of Sleep. This duality highlights the complexity of Oneiroi's nature.

Because of this unique origin, Oneiroi has great potential, though it can also be seen as limited.

Oneiroi's potential is high, but just like Hades before he reclaimed his Underworld essence, any advancement would require all 3,000 Dream Gods to progress simultaneously—a nearly impossible feat.

To advance Oneiroi, all 3,000 Dream Gods would need to reach the level of a Chief God. This situation is reminiscent of Hades's earlier struggle, where despite mastering numerous laws, he needed each one to reach the level of a Titan Chief God before he could advance himself.

Is it difficult? It's like trying to climb to heaven!

As for Ker and the other Goddesses of Fate, their situation is similar, but not as severe. After all, there are only four of them. Additionally, they benefited from a fortunate opportunity during the last devouring, allowing them to experience significant growth and transformation.

But for Oneiroi, advancing is incredibly difficult.

Oneiroi's essence rivals Mephistopheles at the peak of the Titan Chief God level, with one foot even stepping into the realm of the God-King.

However, while Moirai can gradually improve by weaving fate and through rigorous cultivation, Mephistopheles requires the souls of seven hero-level sinners to serve as the core of his transformation.

As for Oneiroi, in theory, there is almost no possibility of advancement.

Oneiroi's transformation would require all 3,000 Dream Gods to reach the level of Chief Gods.

But the problem is that the power levels among the 3,000 Dream Gods vary greatly. Some have the potential to advance, while others do not. Some gods can easily progress, while others, no matter how hard they try, cannot move forward.

This is a natural limitation, one that can be attributed to innate talent or aptitude.

Therefore, while Oneiroi may appear powerful, in reality, he has little potential for further advancement.

However, for Hades, this isn't a problem. The World Tree can gradually nurture and enhance the entire Underworld and all its gods.

"Hmm..." Hades murmured softly as he contemplated, "The Age of Heroes is about to begin. With Mephistopheles's abilities, it will be easy to gradually cultivate and guide seven heroic souls into embodying the Seven Deadly Sins."

"Moirai's fate requires time to weave. Once the vast net representing fate is fully woven, everything will gradually fall into place."

"And finally," Hades continued, "Oneiroi can be nurtured through the divine power of the World Tree, gradually cultivating the Dream Realm and nurturing the 3,000 Dream Gods, though this will take time..."

Hades reflected on these matters.

Indeed, although the cultivation of the divine kingdom had reached a stalemate, Hades had found another approach—working backwards from the Underworld Gods.

Every strengthening of an Underworld God would, in turn, benefit the World Tree.

And among them, Mephistopheles, Moirai, and Oneiroi, all of whom stand at the peak of the Titan Chief God level and are on the verge of becoming God-Kings, present the greatest opportunity for significant changes.

The difference between a god below the God-King level and one above it is vast.
