Chapter 128: Chaos
"W-What should I do?"
Iino panicked when her head started to calm down, causing Tsubame to look at her helplessly.
Yet, Tsubame would be lying if also wasn't affected by this mood, but then again, their feelings were nothing compared to Kobachi, who had caused all of this problem.
"I should have stopped her, but..."
Kobachi held her head and wasn't sure what to do. Yes, she tried to stop Iino, but she accidentally sent that photo to Onodera. While she wanted to delete the photo as soon as possible, her reaction was far slower than that of Onodera, who had seen the photo first.
Everything had happened, and nothing could they do, but whether it was Iino or Kobachi, they felt too afraid to meet Onodera.
As for Ishagami, he was still in the middle of his student council job, but if they met each other, what should they say to him?
Apologize?
If everything ended with just an apology, then what was the use of court and prison?
"S-Senpai..."
Kobachi cried as she looked at Tsubame, hoping that her senior could find an answer.
"...."
However, Tsubame also wanted to cry!
After all, Tsubame was also in that photo, and even if she wasn't involved in the accident, she knew Onodera and Ishigami would think she was related to this accident.
Frankly, whether it was Iino or Tsubame, they weren't stupid and had bright heads, yet they didn't know what to do.
Still, what could they gain after doing this?
Could they really monopolize Ishigami?
"No."
Even if there were the three of them, and even if Ishigami broke up with Onodera, they weren't the only ones that he was close with.
Chika.
There was no doubt that this girl was a fearsome opponent, especially with her origin and, more importantly, docile nature, considering Chika didn't cause him trouble.
"..." Chika.
Yet, as they had caused him this big problem, they were afraid to imagine what Ishigami would do to them.
Ishigami might appear patient, gentle, and calm, but it was because they were well-behaved and only caused him a little mischief; but then again, if they caused him this much trouble, then...
"...should I tell Yuu about this?" Tsubame asked softly.
"No!" 2x
It was fine for Tsubame to say that since even though she was part of that photo, she wasn't involved in this accident, and it could be said that she was a victim.
Yet, what about Iino and Kobachi?
They were the perpetrators!
The criminals!
"Though, Miko-chan, you should be more mature, okay?" Tsubame also understood their fear, but then again, she hoped for Iino to be more mature next time.
Yes, they hoped for him to do something about his relationship with Onodera, yet they didn't want to hurt him. More importantly, they hoped he would make the move by himself, yet they messed up everything by sending the photo of their foursome to Onodera as if they wanted to show off who was better among them.
Yet, logically, between the three of them or Onodera, who would Ishigami choose?
"..." 3x
"...it's a hard choice."
"Yeah, I can imagine he will leave us."
"Don't say something so scary!"
Yes, Ishigami was responsible and cared about them, but then again, if their actions were really too much, then... then...
"But I think we should tell him since it is better to acknowledge our mistake than wait for him to know, right?" Tsubame showed her maturity as a senior, and she knew that it was better to admit their mistake than wait for him to understand everything.
"That's..." 2x
While Iino and Kobachi hesitated, they knew this was the only thing they could do.
"More importantly, while Miko-chan really wanted to send that photo, Kobachi wanted to stop it but sent the photo by accident, right?"
"Yeah." 2x
This was the fact.
While Iino wanted to send the photo, Kobachi stopped her, but then, unfortunately, Kobachi sent the photo by accident.
"Then, it will be okay."
It was all an accident, so there was nothing they could do, but unfortunately, the three of them weren't the only ones that had an accident.
Shirogane was looking around, wondering where the members of the student council were, but when he was about to pass the music room, he discovered one of the members.
"Shinomiya, what are you doing there?"
"Ah!" Kaguya was startled, then turned before she quickly asked, "Kaichou, what's wrong?"
"No, it's just that I wonder where everyone is." Shirogane looked at the music room curiously, but then Kaguya suddenly stood in front of him.
"They should probably still be busy with their class."
Kaguya took a deep breath and put her hand on her cheek. Under her routine, her face was so calm that no one could see the emotion from it. "By the way, Kaichou, how about we go back to the student council room? Let's finish our job as soon as possible."
"You are right."
Shirogane nodded without hesitation, ignoring all the strange noises that slightly escaped from the music room, but even if he heard it, he didn't care since he was happy to know that he could spend alone time with Kaguya, considering Ishigami and Chika weren't around.
Yet, he was happy since he thought that he could spend time together with Kaguya and that it might be a chance for him to invite her out casually. In the past, she had invited him out, so this time, he thought to invite her out. Still, he would be lying if he wasn't nervous, but even so, he asked after a long consideration, "Um, Shinomiya, are you free this weekend?"
"Ah, um, yes," Kaguya subconsciously answered.
"Then... do you want to go out like before?"
"I..." Kaguya looked at Shirogane, who looked at her with a confident expression yet with a nervousness that was impossible to hide, which made her stop the words within her lips as she sighed inwardly, then nodded. "Yes."
Clenching his fist tightly happily, Shirogane quickly asked, "Do you have a place that you want to visit?"
"How about you, Kaichou? Do you have a place that you want to visit?"
"Then, what about a planetarium?"
"That's a good place."
As they talked, Kaguya's mind definitely wasn't on this conversation, so her answer was lagging, and she needed a few seconds to answer Shirogane; yet how could she not be?
Kaguya happened to see Ishigami and Chika, who went to the music room and followed them subconsciously. However, as she arrived, she heard—
"Shinomiya?"
"Nothing."
Sighing, Kaguya showed an impeccable smile that showed nothing of her worry.
"I can't wait for it."
Yet, Hayasaka, who was tasked by Kaguya to stand in front of the music room, was trembling in fear.
What should she do?
While she often caused trouble for Ishigami, she didn't want him to move away from this country and leave her behind.
Still, everything was too late, and nothing could be done.
Yet, hearing the sweet melody that came out from Chika's lips, Hayasaka sighed, thinking that Ishigami was as great as ever, and it made her wonder whether he had time to help her later.
Nevertheless, everything was in chaos; everything that he had hidden was exposed, and no amount of excuses could save him from this situation.
