I am the Emperor of Humanity across the Multiverse

Chapter 160: Chapter 160: The Three

"Three?"

Samuel Young continued waving and greeting the residents with a smile, but inwardly he began speculating about the identities of the three Descendants.

After all, in previous universes, either two Primarchs would appear together as brothers, or there would be only one, or none at all. But having three Descendants appear simultaneously was a first.

As for their identities, it could be anyone. However, at this moment, he had already sensed, through his psychic powers, the presence of his three sons far off in the northern polar region.

Three distinct souls.

Thus, Samuel could confidently determine that two of them were not the "one soul, two bodies" combination of Alpharius and Omegon.

After the proclamation and the coronation ceremony were completed, Samuel Young finished the simplified, yet still somewhat intricate, diplomatic engagements. He then led Dorn, Vulkan, and ten Thunder Warriors away from the central square, leaving Arthur, Krauser, and others to handle further discussions with the various tribal leaders and kings to plan for future cooperation.

Their group proceeded through the bustling, lively streets, arriving at the southern side of the Imperial Palace.

This area had already been developed by Atlas Engineering, which had built a large vertical takeoff and landing platform. Additionally, a company-sized emergency response unit (AECS) was stationed here.

Despite his status as Emperor bringing Samuel Young immense popularity both inside and outside the capital, with the empire's original armed forces pledging their loyalty, expressing their dedication, the true thoughts of these non-psychic generals were fully revealed to him.

Thus, having his own company's elite forces handle the defense of the capital was part of the "initial phase," designed to ease the implementation of a series of subsequent reforms.

At this point, Samuel wasn't ready to display the firm, or even bloody, side of himself to the lingering privileged classes of Tarela.

Their immediate goal was the Swift-Shadow assault ship, with its boarding hatch open for a routine inspection by the ground crew.

Passing through the large hatch, which also served as a ramp, they entered the spacious cargo hold.

The ten Thunder Warriors activated the magnetic boots on their power armor, securing themselves to the sides of the hold, standing by.

Samuel and his two sons, whose minds had nearly matured and who had begun shedding the innocence of youth, proceeded to the second deck. There, he gave orders to the waiting crew:

"Take us to the northern polar region of Tarela, coordinates 76°N, 57°W."

"Yes, sir."

Following his clear instructions, the crew adjusted their consoles, closing the cargo doors and pressurizing the cabin.

After communicating with the control tower, the crew first activated the maglev engines, then engaged the fusion engines, propelling the ship swiftly toward the polar region.

Meanwhile, the two Primarchs seated in the troop compartment gazed out the portholes, watching the capital city grow smaller and eventually disappear.

"Hey, little brother." Dorn withdrew his gaze from the porthole and asked, "What do you think Father is bringing us to the polar region for?"

"Father is right there," Vulkan replied, glancing toward the command cabin connected to the troop compartment, hinting that Dorn could simply ask him directly.

Dorn shook his head, either feeling lazy or reluctant to disturb Samuel. He continued, "Little brother, do you remember the email Horus sent us?"

"Of course. Wait..." Vulkan seemed to recall something.

"Exactly!" Dorn leaned closer to his brother, lowering his voice, "Horus warned us that whenever Father opens a new space gate, new brothers might be born.

Although I always thought that we were created through genetic engineering by Father and Dr. Ashford as super-Descendants, the truth is that, just as our brother said, you and I both descended from the sky."

"I've never paid much attention to that. From a biological standpoint, we are indeed Father's sons," Vulkan paused, then added, "Are you saying we're going to find new brothers who have descended onto Tarela?"

"That's right." Dorn didn't deny it, and a look of anticipation appeared on his face. "Then, we won't be the youngest anymore, hahaha, and I'll have more little brothers to boss around."

"..."

Vulkan smiled but didn't say anything further. However, the glimmer in his eyes showed that this Primarch, too, looked forward to the moment they would meet their brothers.

Samuel, hearing the conversation, entered the troop compartment and saw Dorn enthusiastically discussing with Vulkan how to "train" their yet-to-be-seen brothers.

He didn't offer any criticism, simply sitting across from his two sons with a gentle smile that only those close to him could detect. He then asked:

"Which of you is interested in taking over the company's division in Universe 07?"

"Take over the 07 Division? Father, are you talking about taking control of all of Tarela?" Dorn responded first.

"Yes, much like your older brothers, you would be responsible for handling emergency situations as well as overseeing construction and development," Samuel clarified.

"But Father, we're still so young..." Vulkan expressed concern that their youth might make it hard for others to accept their leadership.

"Age has never been an issue." Samuel's tone grew more serious as he continued, "Based on the current situation, I'll be here for another five or six months. By then, your physical appearance will mature into adulthood.

However, as I said earlier, your age is not the issue. During this time, you'll both learn to manage affairs under my guidance, and I believe that five or six months from now, you'll be fully capable of leading the division."

Hearing this, the two Primarchs fell silent for a moment.

After a few seconds, Dorn spoke on behalf of both himself and Vulkan, "We understand, Father."

But beneath his words was a hint of... melancholy.

Sensing their emotions, Samuel knew that Dorn and Vulkan were reluctant to leave his side too early. With the arrival of three new Descendants, it was inevitable that his sons would start wondering about certain things.

Smiling again, he reassured them in a heartfelt tone, "Dorn, Vulkan, I've never told either of you — actually, I've never told any of you — that in my heart, each of you is unique, without comparison.

Moreover, my children, it was you who brought me the Sword of Flames and the Lightning Claw, and I will always cherish our time together on Tarela."

"Boss." At that moment, the pilot's voice came through the intercom, "We'll arrive at the designated area in thirty seconds. Please prepare for landing."

Hearing the announcement, Samuel ended their conversation and headed toward the first deck cargo hold, saying:

"Let's go."

"Yes, sir!"

Having understood their father's true thoughts, Dorn and Vulkan stopped overthinking things and quickly followed him.

In the blink of an eye, thirty seconds passed, and the Swift-Shadow assault ship landed on the icy plains of the polar region.

Exiting the ship, Samuel led Dorn, Vulkan, and the ten Thunder Warriors into a cave.

"Hahaha!"

As soon as they entered, they were greeted by the sound of laughter.

As they ventured deeper, the cave grew darker, with no natural light to guide them. Only the powerful lights from the Thunder Warriors' power armor illuminated the increasingly dense darkness.

At the same time, they found the source of the laughter.

It was a young boy with wild golden hair and noticeable fangs, playfully roughhousing with two other "children."

One was strikingly handsome, almost as beautiful as the young Sanguinius, with light-colored hair similar to Dorn's.

The other seemed unremarkable, with short black hair and a kind smile, joining the fanged boy in their game.
