Chapter 116: Valley of the End

Hashirama, who had been playing with Tsunade, suddenly paused as he sensed an immense chakra outside the village.

"Madara," he muttered, eyes narrowing in the direction of the chakra.

Just then, an ANBU operative appeared, kneeling before him. "Hokage-sama, Uchiha Madara has arrived near the village with a tailed beast."

Hashirama frowned. "Ensure the villagers' safety. I'll handle Madara."

He disappeared in a flash, using Shunshin no Jutsu to reach the location. When he arrived, he saw Madara and Izuna surrounded by a few cautious ninjas.

"What are you doing, Madara?" Hashirama asked, his voice stern as his gaze sharpened.

"Your path to peace will only lead to an even larger war, Hashirama," Madara replied. "I want to stop this."

"I've told you, Madara. We can't force peace on people," Hashirama responded.

"The winner decides the future, Hashirama. Come with me—I don't want to destroy the village," Madara said, signaling his brother to move.

Suddenly, Tobirama intervened, his gaze fixed on Izuna. "Izuna, you're part of this too?"

Izuna sighed, his voice heavy with frustration. "Tobirama, peace won't last this way. After your brother dies, war will erupt. Trust me, a greater conflict is coming."

"But Izuna, do you really want to leave your daughter without a guardian? Nezuko's already gone," Tobirama pressed.

"Enough, Tobirama!" Izuna snapped. "I followed you guys before, and look what happened—my wife is dead!"

"But—" Tobirama began, only to be cut off once more.

"That was because of enemy ninjas, wasn't it?" Izuna glared. "My brother's right. Just uniting Senju and Uchiha won't bring peace. This is the final battle, Tobirama—the one that will decide everything."

With that, Izuna dashed toward the future site of the Valley of the End, ready to face whatever came next.

---Two VS One---

"Hashirama, this battle isn't about who's stronger. It's for the greater good—the winner will decide the future," said Madara.

"Madara, we can still stop this," Hashirama replied.

"You never listen to me, Hashirama. Just because you're stronger, does everyone need to follow your orders?" Madara countered. "Isn't my niece proof that war will break out after we're gone?"

"Madara, I won't cause unnecessary bloodshed. Besides, people may realize that peace is better than war. Even civilians are wealthier now than before," Hashirama explained.

"Hashirama, I'll give you one last chance. If you don't stop dreaming, I'll attack with my brother, Izuna," Madara warned.

But Hashirama rejected the warning.

"You leave me no choice, Hashirama," Madara shouted.

Both tailed beasts opened their mouths, preparing to fire tailed beast bombs. Sensing the imminent danger, Hashirama quickly formed seals and placed his hand on the ground.

"Summoning: Quintuple Rashōmon!"

Five giant gates descended from the sky, blocking the devastating attack sent by the Uchiha brothers.

---Meanwhile In Uzushiogakure---

"Sir, according to the report, Izuna and Madara are heading toward Konoha. Our satellite managed to capture their details," said Jarvis.

"Good, Jarvis. How long will it take for them to arrive in Konoha?" asked Setsuna.

"In 10 minutes. Wait—they're stopping," Jarvis replied.

"Why are they stopping?" Setsuna inquired.

"Judging by their movements, they seem to be waiting for someone. It might be Senju Hashirama," the Jarvis chimed in.

'It seems like Madara and Izuna still have a conscience and don't want to destroy the village,' Setsuna thought.

"The final battle is still happening. I'll go take a look," said Setsuna.

He didn't want Izuna to die and leave his daughter alone, especially since she had already lost her mother. Now her father was doing something reckless.

First, Setsuna visited Kazuha and brought her along. It wouldn't be good if the clone was suddenly destroyed, so Kazuha needed a companion.

"Kazuha, your father and I have something important to take care of, but we'll be back later," said Setsuna.

"Father, you said you wouldn't leave again," Kazuha said, her eyes filled with tears.

"Kazuha, your father will return tonight. But how about playing with Sister Karina for now?" Setsuna comforted her.

"Hmm, okay," Kazuha said, making a pinky promise with her father. "Come back tonight and bring some delicious food."

Izuna's clone, seeing this, also made a pinky promise with his daughter before they brought Kazuha to Setsuna's home. Setsuna created an additional clone to protect the house in case Black Zetsu decided to target Kazuha.

When they were 200 meters away from the house, Setsuna decided to send a message to Izuna.

"This message must reach Izuna. Are you an idiot, Izuna? Your daughter is alone, and you're rushing off to die? Go back now and stop being reckless by fighting Hashirama!" Setsuna ordered.

The clone nodded and vanished into smoke. The memory was transferred to the real Izuna, who was in the middle of the battle.

"Kazuha... Setsuna... Please take care of my daughter," Izuna muttered.

Despite this, it was clear Izuna was determined to see the fight through to the end.

Sensing Izuna's stubbornness, Setsuna used Kamui to teleport himself closer to the battle. If he couldn't convince Izuna to stop, he would at least save him before it was too late.

---Gundam Tailed Beast---

The battle was intense from the start, with only Hashirama capable of holding his ground against two tailed beasts at once. The sheer magnitude of the fight kept the other Senju clan members at a distance; they could only watch from afar as explosions and flashes of Susanoo's energy filled the battlefield.

Every now and then, the silence was broken by Madara's taunts or Hashirama's pleas. Izuna, riding Chōmei, the Seven-Tails, rained attacks from above while Madara, on the ground with Gyūki, the Eight-Tails, relentlessly pressed Hashirama. The two brothers worked seamlessly, piloting the tailed beasts as if they were mere extensions of their own bodies.

Hashirama struggled, using every ounce of his power to keep up. The battle, which could have dragged on for days, was shortened as Hashirama was forced to unleash his full strength or risk losing.

"Madara, please stop!" Hashirama called out between breaths.

"I've told you countless times, Hashirama. Your way will only lead to ruin. I will destroy this fake peace and rebuild a kingdom where all people are united!" Madara shouted back, his voice full of conviction.

"Madara, it's too dangerous! Do you really want to break the peace we've worked so hard for?" Hashirama pleaded again.

"This peace is an illusion," Madara retorted. "It's just the calm before the storm. Once you die, the other villages will strike. Konoha won't last without you but if I manage to destroy you here, other village will wary with the power of Uchiha."
