Chapter 41
In the Major Corporation Party, the main stars were Master Kim and Sweet.
Innate game sense. Understanding of job skills. Talent and effort.
Nothing was lacking, and this was proven during the Elder Lich Raid.
The Pagu who joined midway, while older, had skills that didn’t fall behind the two.
What about the lone flower of the Major Corporation Party, Suzuka?
Typically, when “supporters” and “female users” are mentioned together, a negative image tends to form.
Those who find joy in tearing others down swarm the community.
For them, Suzuka was good prey. However,
There had never been a time when a negative image was formed against Suzuka.
Slap—!
“I didn’t know Suzuka had such a preference.”
“This isn’t my preference; it’s a skill!”
I threw a carefree joke, but inside, I was burning up.
She surely hadn’t turned into a Cultist for long.
After trading a few moves with me,
Suzuka seemed to understand and skillfully whipped her whip.
‘How scary.’
A whip.
Commonly seen as a tool for handling beasts or slaves, it has that kind of image but,
In reality, the whip was a threatening weapon that could unleash a sonic boom with every swing.
‘Right now, her proficiency might be low, so her accuracy isn’t that high, but—’
With just a little approach, I could end up with broken bones from that whip.
Well, it was okay.
Injuries that could break my body?
I’ve always faced that in this Another World and Akare.
Besides, I was in a state of pain reduction.
Moreover, my job as a Priest allowed for quick recovery through healing.
Of course, Cultists could do the same, but.
I was a seasoned player while Suzuka had just shed her newbie label.
“If you get any closer, you’ll really get hurt!”
It was as if she didn’t want to fight, wildly swinging her whip.
My stamina was being drained with each whip lash, but I didn’t care.
Focus. Focus again.
I continued to observe the whip’s movements and stretched out my arm.
I shaped the cross into a Judgment Hammer and brought it down appropriately.
Bang—!
The Judgment Hammer crushed the very tip of the whip.
“Uh-oh.”
Seeing the wild whip get subdued in an instant left Suzuka momentarily stunned.
Seizing the opportunity, I yanked the whip as if pulling on a rope, instantly catching Suzuka.
“Kyaaaah!”
Screaming, Suzuka fell right into my arms.
I wrapped my hand around her waist to prevent her from escaping.
“Oh, hello?”
Hehe.
Seeing Suzuka’s smile softened my heart.
I can’t spit at a smiling face. For a moment, I hesitated.
But still, I could never forgive her for turning into a Cultist.
“Um, how about putting down that scary hammer for a moment and having a chat?”
“May you find salvation.”
To prevent Suzuka from being shocked, I blinded her with radiant light and brought down the hammer.

Since the revelation of Cultists, many Priests have turned traitor.
Half of them were existing Priest users, while the other half were newcomers.
Without official statistics, I couldn’t pin down the exact number, but.
The population of Priests versus Cultists felt noticeably lower for Priests.
How could the once-popular Priest class be outnumbered?
The decrease in the Priest population was due to various intertwining factors.
The advantage of the secret class. The inspiring story behind the job’s origin.
Worshipping the Director, an unprecedented job concept that no one had seen before.
To top it off, the Priest’s image was shattered due to Cultists.
As time went on, the structure only allowed for the increase of Cultists.
Indeed, it was the age of Cultists.
In a secret church only Cultists could enter, they gathered to pray towards the statue of Aurora, worshipping and gaining daily buffs.
If they encountered a Priest on the street, they would immediately engage in a holy war—that was a day in the life of a Cultist, befitting the prevailing trend.
However, there was one being who broke that trend.

[Title] Cultist) Someone catch this crazy girl
(An image of Pera beating up the writer)
Surely, my level is higher, and I received Aurora’s baptism, yet how could this girl who hasn’t even reached level 50 and hasn’t received baptism beat me up without mercy? Damn it.
It also ticks me off that she always says ‘May you find salvation’ before killing me.
Please, anyone, catch that crazy girl!

Avoiding a rabid dog is the best strategy.
N-what if that rabid dog chases me down?
N-it’s similar to meeting a bear in real life.
N-I felt my body being torn in half.
How on earth, despite the level difference and baptism difference, do I get toyed with?
N-this question always comes up.
N-the only one who knows the answer is that crazy girl.
N-her physical prowess is not human but beastly.
―――
Pera, who had been a name-recognized user since the time of the in-game gallery.
Rice-eating Saint, hacker, and so on. She had bizarre nicknames, but.
In the present time, Pera was referred to as “crazy girl.”
Crazy girl.
Still, it was better than Rice-eating Saint or hacker.
Pera was a lowly Priest who hadn’t even reached level 50 or participated in the teaching event, but.
To say she was just a lowly Priest seemed quite shocking given her trajectory.
Level difference? Baptism difference? What’s that even mean?
Cultists. With just that, anyone could get their heads smashed equally.
As the number of Cultists who were beaten by Pera grew,
Her mention in the community also increased gradually.

Cultists getting toyed by a Priest who hasn’t even received baptism ㅋ [59]
Isn’t it true that Aurora doesn’t even recognize her as a hacker? [12]
Cultist Must-Read) Here’s how to deal with that crazy girl [124]
Suzuka also lost to that crazy girl, so that says it all [35]

Akagallery kept rolling around the rumors related to Pera,
Until it returned to the fundamental question.
Does Pera seriously go crazy upon seeing only Cultists?
In reality, there aren’t many Priest users who strictly beat down Cultists.
Even if Akare is realistic, it’s still just a game.
Those who chose the Priest class generally do not believe in the doctrine.
To begin with, the doctrine wasn’t even a concern.
For Priests, holy power was merely a means to an end.
Thus, there was no particular reason to oppose Cultists.
Defeating a Cultist brought no gain whatsoever.
Of course, there were some who fought Cultists purely for the love of PVP.
However, among them, Pera was the only one who had never lost to a Cultist.
Was she really just a connoisseur of extreme concepts? Or did she have some backstory known only to herself?
The answer to that fundamental question could ironically be heard from her directly.

[Title] Cultist) I found out why that crazy girl torments Cultists
(A video of Pera talking just before dying)
“Forsaking the sacred doctrine and being possessed by false gods…”
“I can’t forgive those who have turned traitor.”
Not just her nickname as a crazy girl; she truly is a crazy girl.

“False gods?” This genuinely rubs me the wrong way.
N-Rubs?
N-Cultists can’t even take a hit when it comes to concepts.
N-Much better than a baseless church with no god to rely on.
I’d say this definitely crossed the line.
N-It’s like a monk calling Jesus a desert false god.
N-I completely understand.
N-Wow, that’s harsh.

If Aurora had seen the trending flow of rumors, she would have certainly expressed her grievance.
The original intent was to implant the image that Priests were better than Cultists.
However, by labeling herself as a false god, she managed to provoke the Cultists instead.
This became the catalyst for the long-dormant smear campaign against Priests to pick up steam.
Priests who had suffered during the one-sided beatdowns also rose up.
―――
Priest) Can we tone down the smear against Priests a bit? [24]
Cultist) Didn’t you guys declare war first? [29]
I cried while feeling the wall after catching the evil spirit… [5]
Priest) If we seriously have a religion war, it might go down really badly. [34]
Why does the hunter trap have a kinship coefficient? [2]
―――
Of course, the conflict between Priests and Cultists took place only in the gallery.
In reality, no one acted on the opinions expressed in the gallery.
Like barking dogs never biting, nothing actually happened.
Only Cultists continued to get their heads smashed by Pera.

[Title] Has the second half roadmap showcase dropped?

It has dropped, so I’m posting it lol.

Amidst this, a massive rumor was dropped into Akagallery.
***
One thing I felt while playing Akare as Pera was that.
Akare is an RPG game based in a vast open world.
So many contents had already been added, making it quite fun to discover them through adventures, but.
I thought this part might feel a bit unfriendly.
Thus, the idea of holding a roadmap showcase came to mind.
“There’s a lot to organize.”
Currently, the main story arc of Akare was simple.
To protect the world from the destruction god the Salvation Church would bring.
As of now, two objects of destruction had been revealed in Akare.
The Ancient Necromancer.
The Witch of Sorrow.
The Ancient Necromancer was the first, while the Witch of Sorrow was the fifth.
That meant a whopping nine more objects of destruction remained.
Of course, they wouldn’t reveal all of them during this roadmap showcase.
They would only introduce two objects of destruction related to the upcoming new area, the elves’ hometown, ‘Elderheim.’
One was the Twisted World Tree, and the other was the Fallen Spirit King.
Each one was objects of destruction number 2 and 3.
‘Just these alone…’
New area and two new raid bosses.
The problem doesn’t stop there.
Second Awakening. New job Spirit Master added. Character slot expansion.
Balance patch. Second half jumping event.
And various convenience patches too.
When I had to shoulder all of this work instead of Akachan, I had conceived and worked on the contents.
Thanks to that, the stress was immense, but.
Engaging in PVP with Cultists as Pera was so much fun that I could really release that pent-up stress.
“The theory of Goddess Aurora is also losing steam lately.”
Since I actively drew aggro while playing as Pera,
There was a moment I almost got into trouble for treating Aurora as a “false god.”
But I did manage to prevent the spread of that bizarre rumor about Goddess Aurora.
“Goddess.”
“….”
Ignoring Akachan, who had called me while making the roadmap by my side.
*Sigh. Master.”
“What did you call me for?”
Akachan looked at me with a look of disbelief.
“The second awakening cutscene for Cultists. We need your modeling for it.”
“Excuse me?”
What’s that all about… Ah, right.
A character who must appear in a Cultist’s second awakening cutscene has to be me, right?
I had anticipated it to be the latest to come out, so I thought this production would be quite significant.
“Goddess, let’s just give it up.”
“….”
Life really doesn’t go the way one desires.
I let out a deep internal sigh, truly feeling that harsh reality.
