I Choose In The One Piece Class, Do I Have A Choice?

Chapter 306: You Really Are The Thickest-Skinned Person In The World!

"Shimura Danzō, are you out of your mind? Do you even realize how strong Finn is?"

Hyuga Hiashi's voice trembled with concern as he tried to stop Danzō, who was clearly on the verge of confrontation. He couldn't believe Danzō was even considering attacking Finn. The man had just saved the entire village, and now Danzō was foolish enough to challenge him?

Hyuga Hiashi had seen Finn's power firsthand—it was beyond what any normal shinobi could comprehend. He didn't want to see Danzō make a fatal mistake.

Danzō, however, scoffed and shot back, "Hyuga Hiashi, you're right about one thing—I don't know how strong he is. But you clearly have no idea how strong I am!"

Danzō's confidence stemmed from his collection of Sharingan, the power of Izanaki, and the dozens of lives he could potentially reset. He believed that, armed with such an advantage, he could defeat anyone—including Finn.

"Boy, have you made your choice?" Danzō's cold eyes locked onto Finn, his voice laced with arrogance.

To the others watching, it might have seemed like Danzō was offering Finn a choice, a chance to back down. But Finn wasn't fooled. Danzō's arrogance was palpable.

Finn's expression darkened, his disdain for Danzō growing. He didn't care about the man's power—he cared about his actions. Danzō's involvement in the Uchiha massacre, his cruel and underhanded schemes, left a sour taste in Finn's mouth. He wouldn't let it slide.

"Enough talk," Finn said, his voice cold. "If you think you can do something, then do it. But just know—this 'young master' saved your whole village, and you agreed to pay me. If anyone tries to take back that money, they'd better be prepared to deal with the consequences."

A mocking smile curled on Finn's lips as he locked eyes with Danzō, fully aware that Danzō's pride wouldn't let him back down.

Danzō's laughter rang through the air, a sharp, cold sound. He'd been waiting for this moment—waiting for Finn to show hostility, so that he could justify attacking.

"This is Konoha Village," Danzō said, sneering. "If you want to fight, we'll take it to the back mountain. No one here wants the village destroyed because of your temper."

Finn raised an eyebrow. "Why the back mountain? Can't we fight here?"

Danzō's expression hardened. "Hmph! Do you think it's so easy to stop once a battle starts? If you unleash your energy and destroy the village, can you afford to pay for the damage?"

Danzō's words rang with self-righteousness, but Finn could see through his thinly veiled attempt to hide his true motives. To Danzō, this wasn't about protecting the village—it was about covering up his own dirty secrets.

As the tension thickened, the onlookers seemed impressed by Danzō's resolve. They didn't know much about him, but they could sense his authority and experience. Many had heard rumors about Danzō being the "guardian" of Konoha's dark underbelly, someone who worked in the shadows to protect the village.

They saw him as a protector now, someone who was willing to risk his life for the village's safety. His concern about the village's potential destruction only added to his heroic image in their eyes.

But Finn wasn't buying it. He chuckled, his laughter full of scorn. He pointed at Danzō and shook his head, a mocking smile spreading across his face.

"Hahaha! Are you for real? You old dog, trying to act all high and mighty! Hiding your dirty little secrets while making a show of wanting to protect Konoha. You've got the thickest skin I've ever seen!"

Danzō's eyes narrowed. "Secrets? What secrets could I possibly have?" His voice remained calm, but there was a hint of suspicion creeping in.

Finn's expression turned cold as he leaned in slightly, his voice dripping with disdain. "Oh, you think you've kept it a secret? You've got dozens of Sharingan hidden away, right? Right in your eye and arm. You dug them up from the bodies of the Uchiha clan. You think no one knows?"

The atmosphere shifted instantly. The smug look on Danzō's face faltered for just a moment. The secret was out—his most prized possession, the very thing that gave him the power to challenge the strongest shinobi, was no longer hidden.

Finn's words hung in the air like a gauntlet thrown at Danzō's feet.
