Eva: "Ehmmmm..."

Eva: "Hah, it's already 6:30, I don't want to go to school..."

Even though she said that, Eva still got up and started getting ready to go to school. The cold and calm morning atmosphere enveloped her home.

The only sounds were the ticking of the wall clock and the gentle breeze coming through the window.

Eva took her bicycle out and set off for school. The streets were still quiet, with only a few vehicles passing by, while the sun began to rise, casting soft morning light along the road.

Hello, my name is Eva. I am currently 16 years old and in the second year of high school. I have been living alone for two years since my parents divorced due to infidelity.

Even though they send me money every month, they don't care about me at all.

I am a quiet girl at school, someone who finds it hard to speak and socialize, so I have no friends.

After arriving at school, I headed to the bike parking area and placed my bike there. With the sound of the bike clinking, the cool morning air enveloped me.

I then walked towards the classroom, passing through the empty field adorned only by a few shady trees swaying gently in the breeze.

I sat in my chair while reading a book.

The morning silence in the classroom made me feel comfortable, far from the hustle and bustle. The only sounds were the rustling of the wind outside and the occasional whispers of classmates speaking softly.

Driiiinggggg... (The school bell rings)

Teacher: "Alright, children, sit in your places!"

Students: "Yes, Ma'am!"

Teacher: "Now, take out the assignment I

asked you to do yesterday."

Student: "Oh no, I haven't done the assignment again..." (said someone sitting next to my desk)

Student 2: "Hah, you haven't done the homework? Come on, that assignment is easy..."

I took my book out of my bag. Suddenly, a light appeared from the ceiling of the classroom, causing everyone to fall silent for a moment.

KRRRRRIIIIIIKKK DRAAAASSSSS (The sound of light)

My vision blurred, and suddenly everything went dark. The classroom, which was once bright, turned pitch black in an instant, as if something had sucked all the light away.

Where am I? Why is it so dark? What happened in the classroom?

Suddenly, a light came from above, and then my vision went dark.

What was that light? And why am I here, in this darkness? Am I dead? The atmosphere around me felt so silent, as if I were trapped in a space that couldn't be reached by any sound.

I heard a cracking sound, getting closer. It seemed to come from a large object that was breaking. In the darkness, the air felt warm, yet suffocating.

??? : "Wow, dear, look, our child is about to hatch!"

??? : "Yes, dear."

An egg?

My vision slowly began to adjust to the darkness, though it still felt dim.

The cracking sound grew closer, and I could feel the tension in the air. The atmosphere around me now felt like being in a cramped, hot space, full of pressure.

As if something large and alive was waiting to come out.

The soft voice sounded again, this time clearer.

??? : "Be careful, don't let the egg crack too soon."

A heavier voice interjected.

??? : "Don't worry, dear. I've made sure everything is safe."

I tried to process what I had just heard. An egg? But what kind of egg? I'm not an egg. I... I felt confused, trying to remember what had happened before.

Suddenly, the memory came like a flash class. I was still in class earlier, then... everything went dark. And then everything disappeared.

The voice again, closer now.

??? : "Here it is, time."

The cracking sound was heard again, this time louder, followed by something that sounded like a large object breaking. Something began to move around me.

I felt pressure from all sides, as if I were trapped in something that was being opened.

With all my strength, I tried to move, pushing my body to get out. At that moment, a bright light appeared again, much stronger than before, blinding my eyes.

I opened my eyes and...

Inside, a creature I did not recognize was emerging, with scaly skin and a large body.

I was trapped in confusion and shock.

My new body, an unfamiliar body, felt heavy and unnatural. The hard scales covering my skin, hands shaped like lizard feet, and sharp claws protruding from the tips of my fingers.

I tried to touch my face, and felt grooves and rough lines that I had never known before. I was truly no longer human.

This is impossible... am I really reincarnated?

The atmosphere around me felt increasingly foreign. I looked around and saw two large figures, gazing at me with affection.

They did not appear to be evil creatures. They looked happy to see me emerge from the shell, like a mother and father welcoming their child into this world.

The air around felt warm, filled with tenderness and love.

??? : "Dear, how about we name this child Eva Scarlet?"

??? : "Eva Scarlet... a perfect name, dear."

I stared at them in confusion. The voice was gentle, yet there was a firmness in every word spoken.

They seemed to know I was about to appear, as if they had been waiting for this moment.
