I Have a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon System in a World with Pokemons

After that encounter with the Shiny Azumarill, Dante and Pikachu didn't have any more mishaps. Sweeping through the rest of the dungeon, they finally arrived at the end after climbing the stairs from the 8th floor. 

Looking around, the cave at the end of the dungeon was filled with crystals of different colors, their light reflecting on the surface of the water and making the scene mesmerizing. 

Among all the crystals present, the largest one was a purple crystal embedded on the wall in front of them. Its size has already exceeded the duo, and after walking in front of it, Dante and Pikachu can see their reflection from how shiny the crystal is.

"Wow! Now this is a treasure. It's even bigger than the stone from our first exploration!"

Pikachu can't stop himself from shaking in excitement. Although the Mega Stone they found is countless times more priceless than this crystal, the visual impact it brings beats the Mega Stone by more than one level of magnitude.

"Remember my warning! Don't touch the huge crystal. It's a trap by this dungeon."

"Alright, alright. Haaaa, I really wonder sometimes how you know these things."

"Intuition, my dear Pikachu. A true Explorer can see at a glance that this crystal, placed in the center and shining with a lustrous splendor, tempting those that come to take it, is clearly a trap."

Of course, Dante was just bull-shitting. Although he doesn't know if he has the Dimension Scream that allows him to see the future, playing the game in his previous world allowed him to know all the major plot points of the story.

Trying to take this huge crystal will trigger a massive rush of water to come. According to the game, it will wash them a long distance away into the air, and land in a Hot Spring with the Torkoal. However, Dante doesn't see the need to risk the both of them possibly falling elsewhere to their death.

Dante and Pikachu cautiously tried taking a crystal that was located near the entrance. Seeing that taking one didn't trigger any trap, the two of them continued taking small crystals until their Treasure Bag was full.

The amount they took didn't even put a dent to the massive amount of crystals present here. And with Dante's Copycat vision, he saw energy beginning to gather in the location of the crystals they took.

The biggest energy source that Dante can see is inside the largest crystal. It was filled to the brim with Water and Fire Elemental energy. Seeing the combination of energy reminded Dante of the only Water and Fire type Pokemon, Volcanion.

Volcanion is a Mythical Pokemon that is known as the Steam Pokemon. It's the only Pokemon that can learn the move Steam Eruption, which is the more powerful version of Scald.

With the Fire and Water energy combination, the Torkoal Hot Springs, and then Volcanion, Dante became uneasy at the thought of staying here any further. The two of them aren't ready to fight those strong Mythical and Legendary Pokemon, no matter how unlikely the possibility of Volcanion staying here is.

The two only rested for half an hour before Dante urged Pikachu to start their return journey. Although he was a little confused why Dante was rushing, Pikachu still followed him out of the dungeon.

The journey back just took an hour. The sun was only beginning to set when the two of them exited the dungeon.

"Hrnggh, we had a great harvest! Not only did we discover a new dungeon, we also took back so many treasures. How do you think the guild would reward us, Dante?"

"Heh, certainly not with Poke. I'm hoping Chatot gives us another Ginseng, we really need more of that."

"Hmm, so behind that waterfall is hidden a Mystery dungeon? And in the deepest part of the dungeon, there are crystals everywhere?"

"Yup! See, we took some with us!"

Looking at the colorful pile of crystal taken out by Pikachu, Chatot began laughing hysterically.

"Wonderful! How very wonderful! Great job the both of you!"

"This is a major discovery! A newly discovered Mystery Dungeon, why the Exploration Federation may even increase your rank by one or two levels! That is on top of the other generous rewards!"

"R-really?!"

"Undoubtedly! Every Mystery Dungeon is filled with opportunities, especially since this one possesses such energy-filled crystals."

"You hear that, Dante? We're gonna be rich!"

"Your waterfall discovery is just amazing! The Guildmaster must be told!"

'Uh oh!' Seeing Chatot heading towards the Guildmaster's chamber, Dante's joy turned into worry and anxiousness. 

If he remembered correctly, Wigglytuff already discovered the Waterfall Cave dungeon. But because of his carefree nature, he forgot about it and hadn't informed the Exploration Federation until now. Dante hoped Wigglytuff wouldn't be able to remember going into that dungeon.

Not long after, Wigglytuff came out of the room with Chatot following behind him.

"YOOM…TAH! Great job you two! I have heard you discovered a new dungeon. Therefore…"

"It's time for Celebration!!!"

Dante cheered loudly with Pikachu while secretly heaving a sigh of relief. It seems Wigglytuff didn't remember it. 

In the original work, the only reason he even recalled it was because the protagonist told Chatot about seeing Wigglytuff with his Dimensional Scream. It forced Wigglytuff to use his 'memory recall' spell to determine whether he did go there before or not. 

If the protagonist's team didn't go there, the dungeon would remain undiscovered for many more years. In the end, the likely result would be that other Exploration teams would discover the dungeon and become the first discoverer. Therefore, Dante felt completely guilt-free from taking credit for being the first discoverer with Pikachu.

At night, the dinner at the guild was very lively. After learning that the newest apprentice of the guild discovered and explored a new Mystery dungeon, everyone had various reactions. 

There was disbelief, surprise, envy and happiness for the two. Chatot on the side was constantly laughing, bragging about how he already saw the potential of team Omnipotent Travelers the moment he laid his eyes on them.

Bidoof was crying while congratulating the two. From the way he is acting, it's like a parent watching their child finally grow up. The others became more motivated from Pikachu and Dante's achievement, vowing to one day also discover a new dungeon.

And for Dante and Pikachu? Pikachu was in the middle of the crowd, boasting boisterously as he told them the story of their adventure. Dante on the side was laughing from time to time at Pikachu's exaggerated storytelling.

The next day, an even more happy event greeted the two.
