I, The Aeon of Trailblaze, Trailblazing the Multiverse

Chapter 20: Shizuka Marikawa: It’s Only Natural for a Miko to Serve Her God

The door to the room opened.

Elias looked at Shizuka Marikawa, who stood at the doorway with a naturally dazed expression.

Her long golden hair was slightly damp, clearly showing she had just taken a bath and hadn't fully dried it yet. Her hands rested shyly on her abdomen, and she twisted her body slightly in hesitation, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment.

This bashful demeanor, combined with her slightly wet hair and the almost-bursting sight of her ample chest straining against her nightwear, made her presence particularly striking.

Without even needing to guess, Elias could already surmise what Shizuka Marikawa had in mind.

"Oh, my Nameless, what brings you to knock on my door at this hour?" Elias teased, a smile forming on his face.

Truthfully, before he had crossed into this existence, he had merely been an ordinary man who had never experienced romantic intimacy.

If he were still human, encountering such a situation would surely have caused his heart to race uncontrollably, leaving him fumbling awkwardly, even stammering.

However, as a Aeon, such mortal emotions no longer swayed him. His heart remained steady, his emotions even, and his demeanor exhibited what mortals might perceive as "divine composure."

In truth, what mortals called "divinity" was merely their interpretation of a Aeon's incomprehensible state of being. If he revealed the facets of himself beyond their understanding, their perception would shift to what they labeled as "the true form of a Aeon."

Shizuka Marikawa, timidly gazing at the young man in front of her—who didn't even appear older than herself—fidgeted with her fingers while leaning forward slightly. Her well-endowed chest lightly pressed against Elias's chest as she whispered shyly.

"Lord Elias, aren't I your miko? A shrine maiden should devote both body and soul to serving her god. That's why... I came."

Elias, observing Shizuka's guileless and earnest expression, couldn't help but let a faint smile tug at the corners of his mouth. Her naivety didn't surprise him in the slightest.

The simplicity of her thinking—and her particular stubbornness—was precisely what defined her.

"Well, since you've come all this way, how could I refuse your sincerity?"

Elias, never one to shy away from opportunities, reached out and gently pulled Shizuka Marikawa into his room.

The interior of his room wasn't much larger than the other passengers' quarters, but it was meticulously designed. It featured a bedroom, a spacious bath, a game wall, a singing platform—everything one might expect to find in a Aeon's private space.

Shizuka Marikawa curiously glanced around, her eyes sparkling as she took in the futuristic and luxurious setup. She tilted her head slightly in thought before asking, "What should I do next?"

"Just enjoy yourself," Elias replied playfully, leaning in close to her ear.

With a single thought, the nightgown she wore dissolved into shimmering specks of light.

Her radiant-like skin practically glowed under the soft light of the room.

"Ah—!"

Shizuka Marikawa instinctively crossed her arms to cover herself, unaware that this action only accentuated her allure.

"I don't get it. You were a school nurse back on Earth. How can you still be so naïve in matters like these?" Elias remarked teasingly, a playful gleam in his eyes.

"I-I'm sorry, Lord Elias," Shizuka stammered, her face burning with embarrassment.

"But right now, I'm the doctor," he quipped with a mischievous grin.

"Eek—!"

...

As Shizuka Marikawa was pulled into Elias's room, Saeko Busujima happened to open her door at the exact moment, witnessing the scene.

"Marikawa-sensei, that fast?" Saeko sighed softly, a hint of disappointment in her tone.

As someone who had been "saved" by Lord Elias, she had long since decided to dedicate herself to him. Moreover, after a private conversation with Himeko about Lord Elias and the history of the Nameless, Saeko learned that there had been Nameless in the past who had fallen in love with Lord Elias.

Among them was a Navigator known as "Starry Cape Dancer" Dolly, who once shared deep conversations with him.

"Next time…" Saeko murmured to herself, placing a hand over her chest. A slight blush appeared on her cheeks as she gently closed her door.

...

The next morning.

Elias looked at the woman still sound asleep beside him and carefully pulled the blanket over her. Reflecting on the night's intense events, he let out a slight sigh of regret.

As a Aeon, his endurance was practically infinite, capable of stretching to the very edges of the cosmos. However, Shizuka Marikawa was merely a normal Pathstrider—far too delicate. He had been cautious, treating her like a fragile doll.

This restraint left him somewhat unsatisfied. It seemed that not even those at the level of Emanators could truly keep up with him. Only those who surpassed Emanators and reached a realm beyond could provide a semblance of fulfillment.

"Ah, such are the woes of being too powerful," Elias mused, channeling Imaginary Energy to soothe Shizuka Marikawa's body. Though he was the Aeon of Trailblaze and not Abundance, Imaginary Energy was versatile and capable of performing myriad tasks.

However, this versatility was not limitless. While it could heal and stabilize, it couldn't grant eternal life, terraform ecosystems, or rejuvenate planets.

Knock, knock, knock.

"Lord Elias, are you awake? Pom-Pom's made breakfast!" March 7th's voice called from outside, accompanied by light raps on the door.

Elias opened the door and stretched. "Oh, you all live such disciplined lives. That's not good at all."

Despite being Nameless, Himeko and Welt still adhered to strict schedules, sleeping and waking on time. To Elias, this rigidity wasn't ideal.

Trailblaze was about freedom. How could they let themselves be ruled by Order?

March 7th tilted her head. "But Himeko and Uncle Yang said we should develop good habits!"

"Oh, by the way, I knocked on Sister Shizuka's door several times, but she hasn't responded. Did she oversleep?"

Elias draped an arm over March 7th's shoulders, gently guiding her toward the Parlor Car. "Shizuka was exhausted last night. She's in a deep sleep now, so don't wake her."

March 7th blinked in confusion. "Exhausted last night? What was she doing?"

Elias smiled. "Kids shouldn't ask too many questions."

March 7th wriggled out from under his arm, her face slightly red. Though he was a Aeon, Elias was still a man—and a perfect one at that, which naturally made her flustered.

Puffing out her cheeks, she muttered, "Lord Elias, why do you always treat me like a kid…"

Elias teased, "Oh? So little March 7th isn't a kid?"

March 7th pouted, her cheeks puffing even more. "Fine, maybe my actual age is much older than it seems, but in your eyes, I'm probably still a child."

...

Entering the Parlor Car.

Everyone was already seated, enjoying breakfast. Just then, Pom-Pom's announcement rang through the car's speakers.

[Attention all passengers.]

[The train will arrive at the Blue's coordinates in five minutes.]

[Please find a seat and secure yourself. Turbulence may occur during warp.]

[To avoid spilling your breakfast, please remain seated.]

[This applies especially to Passenger March 7th.]

[If your breakfast ends up on the floor, tomorrow's breakfast will be the nastiest oak-roll cake.]
