Chapter 34: Kokabiel - 6
Kokabiel slowly stood up again, his wings beating the air in frustration as his body seemed to flicker between shadow and form.
He had taken heavy damage from Raizel's relentless attacks, but the pride of a fallen angel was not so easily crushed.
He glared at Raizel, his voice dripping with venom. "You think you can defeat me? You're just an overpowered noble, nothing more!"
Raizel's red eyes glimmered coldly as he looked down at Kokabiel, his posture unchanged.
He had barely broken a sweat. With a swift motion, he raised his hand and muttered softly, "Arc of Embodiment."
The air around him warped, and in an instant, legendary weapons from countless universes materialized. The first was a sword, its gleaming silver blade a perfect replica of 'Tessaiga' from Inuyasha.
The massive sword crackled with spiritual energy as Raizel swung it through the air, sending shockwaves that rattled the ground beneath them.
Kokabiel hesitated for a moment before charging at him, his dark wings flaring. The two collided, trading vicious blows.
"You're strong," Kokabiel growled through gritted teeth as he backed off momentarily. "But it won't be enough to stop me!"
Raizel's merely responded. "We'll see about that."
With a fluid motion, he dispelled the Tessaiga and in its place, summoned 'Wado Ichimonji', the famous sword from One Piece. The blade gleamed in the darkness as Raizel grasped it firmly, preparing for the next exchange.
Once again, Kokabiel and Raizel clashed with blinding speed, sparks flying from the swords as each strike was countered with an equally devastating blow.
Kokabiel's dark aura surged as he retaliated, but Raizel's form was a blur, his precise strikes cutting through the air itself.
But Raizel's body was beginning to feel the toll of such powerful magic. He stumbled back, his breath growing heavier.
the excessive use of the powerful weapon created by 'Arc of Embodiment' take a lot of mana reserves, even then he wanted to fight with swords and without relying on his blood feild.
The legendary swords and weapons he summoned were taxing his body, and the weariness was starting to show.
Akeno, standing in the background with the rest of Rias's peerage, watched with concern as Raizel staggered slightly.
Her gaze laced with concern, as she immediately approached him, worry etched on her face. "Raizel, are you okay?" she asked, her voice gentle yet urgent.
Raizel smiled faintly, though his body swayed slightly as he steadied himself. "I'm fine, Akeno. Just a little tired. But I'll manage."
Raizel turned his attention back to Kokabiel, his expression hardening. "Now... let me show you the real power of Excalibur."
With a wave of his hand, a brilliant light erupted from the ground as Raizel summoned the legendary sword of saber from 'Fate' series.
The air shimmered with an otherworldly energy as Excalibur appeared in his grasp, the blade pulsing with holy light.
The moment it materialized, every devil present could feel the immense power emanating from the sword.
Goosebumps rose on their skin, as if they could sense the raw power of the holy artifact capable of destroying everything in its path.
Xenovia's eyes widened in shock as she looked at the sword. "That… that's Excalibur, a holy sword!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with awe. "But this one... it's more powerful than anything I've ever seen!"
Kokabiel's face contorted with shock and fear, his eyes widening in disbelief. "Impossible! That sword should not exist here!"
Raizel's cold, calculated gaze met Kokabiel's once again, his voice unwavering. "This is the end for you, Kokabiel."
Before Kokabiel could react, Raizel lunged forward, Excalibur held firmly in his hand. The two warriors collided once more, and this time, their blows moved at such speeds that the onlookers could barely track them.
All they saw were blinding flashes of light and the sound of clashing metal. Sparks flew with every contact, their swords creating shockwaves that rippled through the air.
Rias and her peerage members watched the battle with a mixture of awe and fear. The sheer scale of Raizel's power was beyond anything they could comprehend.
Even someone like rias, who had seen powerful figures before, could hardly keep up with the intensity of the fight.
"Raizel..." Rias whispered, a mix of admiration and concern in her voice. "He's... on a whole different level."
Akeno, who had been silent until now, nodded in agreement. "He's truly incredible. But I'm worried. The toll of that power... it's getting to him."
Kiba's sharp eyes narrowed. "If he keeps this up, he won't be able to maintain this pace for long. But if he can land a final blow..."
Xenovia clenched her fists, watching the battle with intense focus. "He's using everything he has. That Excalibur... it's the final move. If he succeeds..."
Raizel and Kokabiel moved like shadows, striking with blinding speed, but Raizel was beginning to pull ahead. His movements were more precise, his power more overwhelming.
With each blow, Kokabiel's dark aura flickered and began to dim. The battle was nearing its conclusion.
Raizel suddenly stopped in his tracks, his eyes narrowing. "I gather here the breath of the stars... a radiant stream of life. Be prepared, Kokabiel. This is the last thing you will see. EXCALIBUR!!"
With a roar, Raizel swung Excalibur, and a brilliant beam of holy energy shot from the sword's tip. It collided with Kokabiel's dark energy with a deafening explosion, sending shockwaves that tore through the battlefield.
The light was so intense that for a moment, the entire world seemed to fade away.
When the light finally died down, Kokabiel lay defeated, his form crumpled and broken, his once-immense power now extinguished.
The entire group of devils stood in stunned silence, the aftermath of the battle leaving them breathless.
Akeno stepped forward, her voice quiet but filled with worry. "Raizal?! Are you ok?"
Before Raizel could respond, a sudden gust of wind filled the air. A familiar presence appeared in the distance, and as the group turned, a powerful figure flew into view.
Vali Lucifer, the White Dragon Emperor, descended onto the battlefield with an aura of supreme confidence.
His eyes locked onto Raizel, and a slight smirk tugged at the corners of his lips.
"So, this is the one who defeated Kokabiel..." Vali's voice was calm but full of challenge. "You're stronger than I expected."
Raizel turned toward Vali, his red eyes meeting the White Dragon Emperor's. "And you're the one who still hasn't realized how much you have yet to see."
Vali's smile widened. "I look forward to seeing how far you can push me."
