I want to be noblesse in dxd

Chapter 45: Date - 4

As Raizel and Akeno exited the café, the warm sunlight enveloped them, casting a golden hue over the bustling street.

The lingering aroma of coffee and pastries faded behind them, but the memory of their delightful afternoon remained vivid. They walked side by side, their fingers brushing occasionally, sending sparks of electricity through the air.

The gazes of onlookers followed them, whispers of admiration and curiosity trailing in their wake.

"Can you believe how many people were staring at us?" Akeno said, a playful grin on her face as she glanced sideways at Raizel. "I feel like we're in a movie or something."

Raizel chuckled, his heart racing at the thought. "Maybe we are. The 'Noblesse and the priestess of Thunder'—sounds like a title for a blockbuster."

Akeno laughed, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "I like that! But I think we need a better plot. How about a romantic adventure where we save the world together?"

"Only if I get to be the one who saves you," Raizel replied, his tone teasing yet sincere. "I can't let anything happen to my partner in crime."

As they strolled through the vibrant streets, the world around them faded into a blur. They were so engrossed in their conversation that they didn't notice the familiar figures trailing behind them.

Issei, Rias, and a few others from the Occult Research Club had decided to follow the couple, intrigued by the budding romance.

"Look at them! They're so into each other," Issei whispered, trying to keep his frustration low as he nudged Rias. "I can't believe Raizel is actually dating Akeno!"

Rias smirked, her eyes glinting with amusement. "It's about time someone caught his attention. After hearing about his duties as a Noblesse, I thought that he'd never find someone."

Koneko, who had been quietly observing, chimed in, "They look happy. It's nice to see Raizel like this."

"Yeah, but we can't let them have all the fun," Issei said, determination in his voice. "We need to make sure they don't get too carried away. What if they forget about us?"

"Relax, Issei. We're just observing," Rias replied, suppressing a laugh. "But I wouldn't mind a little friendly intervention if things get too serious."

Meanwhile, Raizel and Akeno continued their playful banter, oblivious to the eyes watching them.

"So, what's next on our adventure?" Akeno asked, her tone light and teasing. "Shall we conquer the world of shopping or perhaps find a hidden treasure?"

Raizel pretended to ponder deeply. "Hmm, shopping sounds like a worthy quest. But I must warn you, I have a terrible experience with fashion. You might end up regretting this choice."

Akeno laughed, nudging him playfully. "Don't worry! I'll be your fashion consultant. Just trust me, and you'll look amazing, in everything."

[Oh, look at you! How charming~]

The system chimed in, its voice dripping with sarcasm.

Raizel rolled his eyes internally. 'can you not?i'm trying to enjoy my date here.'

[Enjoy? You mean endure! You're just a pawn in her game of style!]

The system teased, and Raizel couldn't help but chuckle at the absurdity of it all.

"Are you laughing at something?" Akeno asked, raising an eyebrow, her curiosity piqued.

"Just my inner voice being ridiculous," Raizel replied, a smile tugging at his lips. "You know how it is."

Akeno smirked, her eyes narrowing playfully. "I think I'd like to meet this inner voice of yours. It sounds like it has a lot to say."

As they wandered through the streets, they stumbled upon a small park, the vibrant colors of flowers blooming around them.

Raizel suggested they take a break on a nearby bench, and Akeno eagerly agreed.

"This place is beautiful," Akeno said, taking a deep breath of the fresh air. "It's nice to escape the chaos for a moment."

Raizel nodded, his gaze drifting to the flowers. "It really is. Sometimes, it's the little things that make the biggest impact."

"Oh, how poetic~! How romantic!" the system chimed in, and Raizel couldn't help but shake his head, a smile still on his face.

"Are you always this talkative and expressive?" Akeno asked, her tone teasing.

"Only when I'm around someone as charming as you," Raizel replied.

"I'm really glad we decided to do this," Akeno said, her eyes sparkling as she looked at Raizel. "It's nice to take a break from everything and just enjoy each other's company."

Raizel smiled, feeling a warmth spread through him. "I agree. It's refreshing to step away from our usual responsibilities. Plus, I get to spend time with someone who makes me laugh."

Akeno leaned closer, her playful demeanor shining through. "Oh? So, I'm just here for your entertainment, huh?"

"Not just that!" Raizel replied quickly, a hint of panic in his voice. "I mean, you're also incredibly interesting and fun to be around. It's not just about the laughs."

[Oh, how sweet~! Young love these days. How romaaantic~!]

The system chimed in, its voice dripping with mockery.

Raizel rolled his eyes internally. "could you please stop your bullshit? I'm trying to have a moment here."

[A moment~? More like a comedy show! You're practically a walking punchline!]

The system teased, and Raizel couldn't help but chuckle, despite the joke directed at him.

Akeno raised an eyebrow, noticing his slight smile. "What's so funny? Are you laughing at me?"

"Not at all! Just… my inner mind being ridiculous again," Raizel said, trying to keep a straight face.

"Your mind? Is that what you call it?" Akeno teased, leaning back with a smirk. "I'd love to hear what it has to say about me."

Raizel shook his head, a grin breaking through. "Trust me, you don't want to know. It's a bit of a troublemaker."

As they continued to chat, the atmosphere around them felt light and carefree. They discussed everything from their favorite foods to their dreams for the future, each topic drawing them closer together.

"Do you ever think about what it would be like to travel the world?" Akeno asked, her eyes shining with excitement. "I've always wanted to see new places, experience different cultures."

[Oh, look at you! The adventurous boy, dreaming of treasure hunts. How cliché!]

The system interjected, and Raizel sighed, trying to ignore it.

'Cliché or not, it sounds fun,' Raizel replied, a hint of defiance in his tone. "Sounds good to me, and I'd have a great partner by my side."

Akeno's cheeks flushed slightly at his words, and she smiled warmly. "You really know how to make a girl feel special, don't you?"
