I'll be with you, every moment

Tim and Theodore went to talk and Willy felt awkward being left alone with Elena. He didn't know how to start the conversation. Elena realized that he was having trouble speaking and was nervous.

Elena: "Tim is a very good boy, and I'm not saying that because he's my grandson. I'm glad you're with him. I haven't seen him this happy in a long time. Thank you for that."

Willy: "I'm grateful to him. He always takes care of me. He's a really good person. I haven't known him for very long, but I'm sure of that."

Elena: "That's true. Despite what he's been through, he's still a good person. If only someone else had been in his place…"

Elena couldn't finish her sentence. By her expression, Willy could tell that Tim had really been through a lot.

Willy: "Tim told me about his brother."

Elena's face showed surprise. It seemed like she hadn't expected this.

Elena: "His death was a great tragedy for us. My daughter couldn't believe it. Her condition was getting worse day by day. When they moved here, we wanted to take Tim with us, but our son-in-law refused. Soon after, Tim was sent to a private school and we rarely saw him. We still regret that we didn't do anything. We didn't think he would have to deal with everything alone. The whole family is to blame, it's our fault that he had to go through all this alone. Even now, he has to deal with everything alone."

She stopped talking. It was difficult for her to remember the past. She placed her hand on Will's arm.

Elena: "Can you promise me something?"

Willy nodded.

Elena: "No matter what anyone tells you, always be by Tim's side, listen to him and trust him. We couldn't do it, and because of that, our family fell apart. Now you are his family, and he has no one else but you. That's all I ask of you, nothing else."

What happened in the past? What secret is this family hiding? Willy wanted to find out the truth even more. Now he was sure that they were hiding something more than just Tim's brother's death.

Willy: "You can rest assured, I will always be by his side and take care of him."

Elena's eyes filled with tears.

Elena: "Thanks, I'll be calm now."

She wiped tears from her eyes and she smiled at Willy.

Willy: "Do you have any pictures of Tim as a child?"

Elena: "I have a whole album with his pictures. We didn't see him often, and my daughter would send us pictures. He was a very sweet and restless child. I'll bring the album right now."

Elena left the room and returned a moment later with the album in her hand. Tim was really cute as a child, with red and chubby cheeks. He had taken many pictures in a sailor's uniform. In almost every picture, he had a toy dolphin and penguin with him.

Willy: "Did he want to be a sailor when he was a kid?"

Elena: "Yes, he was obsessed with it. He always wore a sailor's uniform and had a closet full of it. He used to say that he was the captain and the toys were his crew members."

Willy: "I can imagine. He would be really cute."

At this time, Tim and Theodore returned.

Tim: "What are you talking about?"

Willy: "We're talking about the captain, the penguin, and the dolphin."

Tim realized they were talking about him.

Tim: "No, this is my album, right? Grandma!"

Elena: "What? I'm showing your boyfriend pictures of you from childhood."

Willy: "I asked her to show me your pictures. You were a cute little captain. Now I understand why you keep calling me captain."

Tim: "It's true, you won't find a captain as cute as me anywhere."

Elena and Theodore looked at them happily. After so many years, their grandson found happiness again.

Elena and Theodore went into the next room.

Elena: "We need to prepare a gift for Willy. Thanks to him, our grandson is happy again."

Theodore: "You're right. I talked to Tim. I think they'll never be apart. He loves Willy very much."

Elena: "I think so too after talking to Willy. Tim told him about Theo. He doesn't talk about him to anyone, which means Willy is special to him."

Theodore: "Then let's talk to Tim about the gift."

They went back to the room. They were waiting for the moment to talk to Tim about the gift.

Elena: "Do you want something, Willy?"

Willy: "Nothing, thank you."

Tim: "Why don't you ask me??"

Tim was sulking. He lost the title of favorite grandson. They always took care of him, but now everything has changed.

Elena: "You're not a guest, you know where everything is."

Tim got up with a sigh and went into the kitchen. Theodore followed behind.

Theodore: "Tim, we're thinking of getting something for Willy."

Tim: "He will refuse. When I give him something, he feels awkward. It has to be something special that he can't refuse."

Theodore: "I'm sure you've already given him everything he wants, so I have one special thing I've been saving for your wedding. In the end, it will be his gift, because you will marry no one else but him."

Tim: "You know your grandson well. You can already recognize him as your son-in-law."

Tim didn't tell his grandfather that they were already married because he promised Willy he wouldn't tell anyone about it.

Theodore went up to the second floor to bring the gift.

Tim took orange juice out of the refrigerator. He was looking for the glasses because he couldn't remember where they were. He took two glasses from the shelf and poured juice.

Elena: "I'll go and prepare some food."

Tim put the glasses on the table.

Willy: "We'll help you."

Elena: "No need. You can rest, I'll prepare everything."

Tim: "I miss the food you make. I'm tired of eating salty food."

Tim smirked. Willy gave his shoulder a nudge.

Tim: "Ouch, I'm kidding. I never get tired of eating the food you make."

It made Elena happy to watch this. They looked like a happy couple who enjoyed each other's company. She went into the kitchen and left them alone.

Tim tried to reconcile with Willy. He rested his head on his shoulder.

Willy: "What are you doing? We're at your grandparents' house."

Tim kissed him on the cheek.

Tim: "So what? They know we love each other, so it's normal to kiss and hug you. Trust me, they'll be happy if they see this."

Willy's ears turned red. He was embarrassed to think that Tim's grandparents would see this.

Willy: "I know, but I feel awkward. I'm not used to this."

Tim: "Okay, I won't kiss you when we're with them."

He rested his head on his shoulder again, he loved it because he could smell his scent that way. He soon fell asleep, thanks to Willy's scent and heartbeat. He always falls asleep quickly because the scent and the sound of his heartbeat calm him down, he feels that someone is next to him and that he is not alone.

Theodore entered the room. He was surprised to see Tim sleeping. He asked Willy in a low voice.

Theodore: "Is he sleeping?"

Willy: "Yes, when he's next to me, he always falls asleep quickly, I don't know why."

Theodore: "After Theo's death, he couldn't sleep. He only slept 2-3 hours a day and woke up screaming at night. He couldn't sleep without medication for years. And now he sleeps so peacefully?"

Willy: "He always sleeps peacefully next to me."

Theodore: "He made the right choice. You are truly special."

Am I special? Willy didn't understand what Theodore meant.

Elena called them to eat. Willy woke Tim up and they went to eat.

Theodore: "Are you leaving tomorrow?"

Tim: "Yes, we will go to the airport in the morning."

Elena: "Are you staying here today?"

Tim looked at Willy.

Tim: "We're leaving early tomorrow morning and we need to get ready. We'll come back at another time and stay longer."

Willy: "Definitely, because I want to hear more stories about Tim."

Elena: "I have interesting stories about him."

The time to leave was approaching. They had prepared a gift for Willy.

Theodore: "Willy, we have a little gift for you. We've been waiting for this day for a long time. It was very nice to meet you. Thank you for taking care of Tim for us."

Theodore handed Willy a box.

Willy: "Thank you, but I can't take this."

Theodore: "Tim told me the same thing."

Elena: "Willy, you are now part of our family. Please accept this gift from us."

He couldn't refuse them.

Willy: "Thank you very much. I am also glad to meet you and become part of your family."

Willy opened the box and found a key.

Theodore: "I was saving this gift for Tim's wedding. I'm sure you'll get married one day, and since we already recognize you as a member of our family, it's already yours."

Willy: "What is the key to?"

Elena: "We bought a house for Tim. We didn't think he would ever want to go back, but as soon as we found out he was leaving for college, we bought it. He loves the sea, so we thought he would be happy if he had a house near the beach. Now it's yours."

Willy couldn't believe it. He couldn't accept such an expensive gift.

Willy: "I really can't accept this gift."

Theodore: "It's already yours. There's no point in refusing."

Elena: "Willy, you're already our grandson. Love and care for each other, we want nothing else."

They hugged Willy and Tim. Willy felt that their feelings were sincere. He truly felt like part of their family. They said goodbye to each other and promised to come back to see them soon. Tim and Willy returned home.

Tim: "Are you tired?"

Willy: "No, I'm very happy. It was nice to be with them."

Tim: "I told you you were worried for nothing.I'll pack our luggage for tomorrow and then we'll go to the beach."

Willy: "It will be great."

Tim and Willy packed their bags. They prepared a basket to take to the beach.

The sky was full of stars. It was much colder than yesterday. Tim and Willy sat close together.

Willy: "We already have two houses near the beach. I didn't want to leave here because I like it so much, but now we have a second house that is closer to our university."

Tim: "Do you love the sea and the beach like I do?"

Willy: "Yes, the sea calms me."

Two sea lovers were sitting on the beach, looking at the horizon.

Tim: "Will you stay here 'til the sunrise?"

Willy: "Yes, I want to see the sunrise with you."

Tim: "I've prepared everything. We can stay here and wait for the sunrise."

Willy: "Do you know that I love you very much?"

Tim: "I know, I love you very much too."

It was a good end to the day. They're going back tomorrow and they have to get back to their normal lives.

They had a happy trip. Willy won the competition, they got married, and they met Tim's grandparents. Willy probably couldn't have imagined this before the trip.
