So they were back at work next day. Amidst a lot of tension. Kenny would scowl at Raj for no particular reason. Shai sulked and even avoided Solly's face. Parry tried in vain to get through Myra's rock solid defence. Kiara was too much of a professional for Maddy to succeed in his intentions. And life goes on....

Parry and Kenny worked on the political party selection.

" Lokayukt is probably in Kamini's pockets", said Kenny. " Such a clean record. I mean we are talking politics here".

"You could be right", said Parry. " Raj now what"?

" Shai get through the financial details of this party", said Raj.

" Files could be encrypted ", said Shai.

" Solly".

" On it Raj", he hurried to her. He wished to apologise.

" Shai I want to..", he started.

" Talk only about the files", she retorted.

He could not speak. He just sat with her and started removing the encryption. After that he handed the system back to her and walked back quietly to his place.

Ro and Grace were the only couple who were still amicable to each other.

" You were right Kenny. There is a huge deposit from an account here which links back to palace", said Shai.

Kiara and Solly hurried up to break another code.

" Great Mr. Bhanu", said Kiara with irritation.

Kenny was already fuming.

" He won't let me work in peace. I will teach him a proper lesson", she said.

She dialled a number. Someone picked up.

" Hello its me", she said. " I am cashing in that favour. I need to meet home minister now".

She listened to what was said.

" Meeting will be a secret. I have a friend who needs to meet him. Done deal."

She cut the call.

" What are you up to", asked Myra.

" They broke around 10 laws. Get them protected first", she said pointing to Solly and Kiara.

" On it", said Maddy as he was in action.

" I am ready to help", said Myra." With the paperwork."

" Okay join me", said Maddy. Myra did.

" Shoot Kenny", said Parry.

" He is joining the ruling party. I just had a call with secretary of HM. He owed us a favour. When they won the election some insider planned a sabotage. I informed them and it failed", she shrugged. " Be ready to meet him. We will have a member of their party to confirm your candidacy but no one should know until shareholders meeting".

" Savage", exclaimed Parry.

" If you can bring me a video of Bhanu's face when you do it", scoffed Kiara. " Such a mess!"

A day later Raj met HM in secret and within next two days his candidacy for elections was confirmed.

" After shareholders upcoming meeting you will perform a massive road show to launch you as next MP from here. On preparations now", she ordered.

" Yes Kenny", said the girls.

Even men were taking orders and suggestions from her now.

" She is your true mate", Ro said to Raj.

Raj sighed. Ony if she listens to her heart for once he thought.

Ro and Grace meanwhile worked in total harmony. The medicines, headache killers, painkillers, paracetamol injections, even syringes and spirits was prepared. They prepare bandages and pain relief creams and herbal massage oils too. Grace prepared a proper diet chart too.

She was rearranging a shelf when she stumbled upon those bottles.

" What are these Ro", she asked. She looked confused.

" Umm nothing just something unimportant. I will dispose them off", he said.

But Grace read the composition of the bottle.

" This is poison", she exclaimed. " Why do you carry poison with you Dr. Khurana?"

Her voice has risen. So everyone heard it. Grace was a soft spoken person. So when her voice rose everyone heard it.

Ro looked at his leader and Kenny observed a subtle shake of head from Raj.

By now everyone gathered around them.

" Grace baby its just something unimportant. Please let it go",said Ro.

" The hell I will Dr. Khurana", she retorted. Then she counted to ten in her mind to calm down. Softly she took his hands in hers.

" Ro please speak up. Tell me why its necessary. I will understand", she said.

Ro was in dilemma now.

He looked pleadingly at Raj.

Raj's eyes hardened. He shook his head clearly now.

" Sorry", said Ro shaking his head to Grace.

By now girls were on Grace's side looking pointedly at Ro.

" I believe we agreed to honesty", said Grace calmly again.

" Raj please I..", Ro tried.

" NO", his voice was loud and clear.

Kenny looked at Raj. She knew he won't budge. Grace remained silent for a few minutes.

" Very well then", she went to Kenny. " I don't think I can work with Dr. Khurana here Kenny."

Looking at Ro she said,

" I loved and trusted a wrong person. Its better for me to leave".

Suddenly Ro felt she was going to jump in a pyre.

" GRACE NO", he screamed. He looked scared. " DON'T KILL YOURSELF".

Even she staggered for a minute.

" Kill", she stared at him.

Ro was baffled. Grace has said the same statement to him before. But when? And she had died leaving him a broken man..when when when?

" Are you guys planning to kill someone with this poison", Kiara's voice was sharp.

" No dammit", said Maddy.

" Solly you", Shai looked scared. All she could think was Caleb. " You stoop to such low level".

" But then I was always a low life dear cousin", he said angrily. " Just good for fun in the sack".

" If you do anything to Caleb.." , she was saying.

" Oh I won't touch your dear fiance. Go get married , live in a white painted house, get a dog and have 2.5 kids".

" Raj at least let me explain", said.Ro.

" No means no", said Raj. " Last I know I give orders here". His face was hard like that of a ruler.

" F*CK YOU", said Ro as he left the room in search of a much needed smoke.

" Look its not what you thnk", Maddy said to Kiara. " We all just need to calm down".

Kiara threw him a dirty look.

Grace was most disturbed and Kenny knew it. She also knew none of the men will utter a word until Raj relents.

" At least we can give little warning", Parry whispered to Raj. " Or they will revolt".

Raj smirked.

" I of all people Parry know how to crush a revolution ". His tone was dangerous.

" Parry I need a minute with him", came Kenny's voice.

Parry immediately backed off.

" Clusterf*ck", he whispered to Maddy and Solly.

" Tell me the truth Raj", her voice was determined. She was a queen too.

" It was just for some research. He is a doctor. End of discussion". Raj's tone was no nonsense.

Kenny closed her eyes.

" Shiva", she prayed.

After a minute she opened her eyes.

" I want a minute with my team", she said to Raj.

Without waiting for an answer she said in a strong voice, " In the meeting room girls and entered it. The queens team followed her as the doors closed.

" Get ready to enforce the contract if they back off", Raj ordered Maddy.

" Damn", he left the room to join Ro for the smoke.
