IN NARUTO AS KURAMA

Chapter 22: CHAPTER 22

Sasuke Uchiha sat on the ground, his body trembling slightly. His pale face betrayed the intense pressure he felt from Kakashi Hatake moments ago.

"I never expected Kakashi-sensei's chakra to be this overwhelming. This isn't something an ordinary Jonin could possess... He's on a whole different level," Sasuke muttered as he collapsed backward, staring up at the ceiling.

His dark eyes shifted toward Naruto Uzumaki, who was sitting casually nearby, a strange smile on his face.

"What are you grinning about?" Sasuke asked sharply. "Don't tell me you didn't feel any pressure at all!"

Naruto blinked, snapping out of his thoughts. "Oh! Uh, no! I totally felt it!" he said, his voice trembling slightly. "I just didn't expect Kakashi-sensei's chakra to feel so... thick! It's kind of making me nauseous now."

Sasuke sighed, getting to his feet. Seeing Naruto's pale face, he hesitated, then extended a hand to help him up. "Don't worry. That's just the weight of chakra pressure. You'll get used to it eventually."

Naruto nodded weakly. "Thanks."

The three of them exchanged glances, nodded silently, and each headed home to rest for the night.

---

Midnight, deep in the woods.

Echoes of frustration filled the forest as Naruto shouted at the night sky. "KAKASHI, YOU LIAR! You promised me FIVE bowls of ramen! Not a single one! How could you betray me?!"

Meanwhile, in Kakashi Hatake's house.

Kakashi lay in bed, flipping through the pages of his beloved Icha Icha Paradise. He sneezed suddenly, rubbing his nose.

"Who's talking about me now?" he mumbled to himself, shaking his head.

As he turned another page, his visible eye lit up in amusement. "Ah, Jiraiya really outdid himself with this one. What a masterpiece! Hmm, Naruto and the protagonist even share the same name... Tsk tsk, the irony."

Back at Naruto's house.

Naruto sat up abruptly in bed, fire blazing in his eyes. "That's it! Kakashi-sensei, you asked for this!"

Disappearing in a flash, Naruto dashed toward Kakashi's house.

Kakashi's house.

Kakashi stirred lightly in his sleep, his senses tingling. His sharp instincts told him something was off. He cracked an eye open.

Outside, a rustle in the bushes caught his attention. Kakashi stayed motionless, observing silently.

Hidden in the bushes, Naruto grinned mischievously. "You're going down, Kakashi-sensei!"

He leapt onto Kakashi's roof. Whispering the words, "Shadow Clone Jutsu!" he summoned multiple clones, all of them tiptoeing across the rooftop.

Meanwhile, in the nearby trees, a masked figure watched with a book in hand. "What an idiot," the figure muttered. "All that training in stealth, wasted. And here I thought the Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu I taught him would be put to better use."

Back inside, Kakashi smirked under his blanket. "Amateur," he murmured to himself, waiting for the inevitable.

Naruto and his clones swarmed Kakashi's bed, yanking the blanket back with triumphant cries. "Got you!"

But instead of Kakashi, they found a wooden log lying under the sheets. "Substitution Jutsu?" Naruto gasped, realizing too late what had happened.

Behind him, Kakashi appeared silently, his fingers already forming the dreaded Tiger Seal.

"Konoha's Secret Taijutsu Technique—Thousand Years of Death!" Kakashi declared.

With a single swift motion, Kakashi struck, sending Naruto flying into the air with an undignified poof.

Naruto landed on the ground, face-first, groaning. "Kakashi, you bastard..." he muttered weakly before passing out.

Kakashi dusted off his hands, shaking his head. "You're still a hundred years too young to get the drop on me, Naruto." He returned to his bed, falling asleep with a satisfied smile.

The next morning, at the training grounds.

Sasuke and Sakura waited impatiently for their teammates.

"Do you think Naruto got lost?" Sakura asked, breaking the awkward silence.

Sasuke frowned, arms crossed. "No way. He's an idiot, but he knows his way around. Let's just wait."

As the sun climbed higher, Kakashi and Naruto finally arrived. Both had dark circles under their eyes.

"Sorry we're late," Naruto said sheepishly. "We, uh, helped an old lady cross the road again. Totally unavoidable."

Neither Sasuke nor Sakura bought the excuse, but they let it slide.

Kakashi stepped forward, holding three small bells in his hand. "Alright, listen up. Today's exercise is simple: take these bells from me. If you can't, you'll be sent back to the academy."

Naruto's eyes gleamed with determination. "This time, I'll prove myself!"

Kakashi smirked. "Good. But just so you know, I'm not holding back. Treat this like a real battle. Aim to kill me, or you won't stand a chance."

The team tensed as Kakashi's demeanor shifted, his aura growing sharp and intimidating.

Naruto, however, was undeterred. Inside his mind, Kurama's voice rumbled.

"Don't hold back, Naruto. Show me how far you've come."

"Got it," Naruto replied internally.

Suddenly, Naruto's chakra flared, creating visible shockwaves that rippled through the training ground.

Kakashi's visible eye widened in surprise. "What is this...?!"

Before he could react, Naruto charged forward, summoning countless shadow clones. They swarmed Kakashi like a tidal wave.

From above, Naruto descended with a glowing blue sphere in his hand. "Rasengan!"

The attack tore through the air, aimed directly at Kakashi. For the first time, a bead of sweat rolled down Kakashi's temple.

"Impressive... but not enough," Kakashi thought as the Sharingan in his left eye spun into motion, ready to counter the attack.
