Volume 1 Chapter 1
1. The Dragon Slayer Finally Succeeded
A petite girl lazily leaned on the throne that symbolized the pinnacle of dragon power, her over-the-knee boots wrapping around her slender legs crossed one over the other, the absolute territory under her black skirt brimming with allure.
Her silver hair was like snow, and her stunningly beautiful face carried a hint of youthfulness, her silver eyes boredly watching everything below. Every move she made exuded nobility and authority.
The Silver Dragon Queen, Xia Lulu · Christie.
The queen sat high above, while the dragon slayer was in a sorry state.
The injured Wright Schubert gripped his sword tightly without a word.
It would be more accurate to say that speaking was extremely difficult for him now. He had been seriously injured early in the battle, blood ceaselessly seeping from his armor. All he could do was gaze at Xia Lulu from afar through the slit of his helmet.
“Human, give up your resistance and embrace your death!”
A voice like a giant bronze bell exploded above Wright’s head, the air itself vibrating.
That was a giant dragon, and also Xia Lulu’s guardian.
“You can’t even break my scales, yet you dream of challenging Her Majesty the Queen? How delusional! Today, you will pay with your life for your foolishness!”
The dragon swung its massive claw down, stirring up a fierce wind, intending to tear Wright to shreds.
Boom!
Under the tremendous impact, Wright flew out like a kite with its string cut, crashing to the ground.
“Hmph, is this the strength of the Human Sword Saint? How laughable,” the dragon mocked.
Wright felt like his body no longer belonged to him, everything around him growing colder, as if he was about to fall into endless darkness.
The past flashed before his eyes like a kaleidoscope.
Wright, who had practiced swordsmanship since childhood, with a heart clear as a mirror, devoted everything to the way of the sword, defeating one genius after another, reaching the pinnacle of swordsmanship, and was hailed as the sword saint with the highest potential in history.
Perhaps it was to hone his swordsmanship, or perhaps it was for the human race, he took on the most difficult task—
Dragon slaying.
To kill the evil Silver Dragon Queen, Xia Lulu.
Only when he truly faced the dragons did he realize his insignificance. He thought he had reached the peak, but in reality, he was only halfway up the mountain, surrounded by clouds and mist.
The real dragons soared high in the sky, an existence Wright could not touch.
But he…
Refused to admit defeat just like that.
“Holy Sword! Gram!”
Wright roared, the sword in his hand bursting with dazzling light.
In the face of despair, his sword heart remained clear, and the sword saint who had been intoxicated with the way of the sword for ten years stepped into a new realm, as if he had become one with the Holy Sword.
He miraculously stood up, wielding the shining Holy Sword in his hand, like a shooting star tearing through the night, slashing at the dragon.
“What?!”
The giant dragon looked at its body being pierced by the flowing light in disbelief, its heart also destroyed, one of the few weaknesses of the dragon race. If the heart was destroyed, it would inevitably lead to its demise.
Wright won.
He fell to the ground in an unsightly manner, the Holy Sword falling to the ground, having reached its limit.
“Human, human!!” The dying dragon roared furiously, “I will bestow upon you endless curses, so that you will never find peace even in hell!!”
Scorching hot dragon blood poured down like a torrential rain, engulfing Wright, seeping into his body through the gaps in his armor.
This was the dragon’s cursed blood. Those cursed by it were doomed to die.
The dragon blood, like lava, almost vaporized Wright’s body. He felt like his internal organs were melting. How could a human body withstand the curse of the dragon race?
Wright’s consciousness began to blur.
Then the dragon died, and the scene became quiet.
“What a useless thing,” Xia Lulu yawned, “to be killed by a human. If the other dragons knew, wouldn’t they laugh their heads off?”
The other dragons beside her looked at each other.
For a human to be able to defeat a dragon, it was quite ridiculous.
“That’s enough for today, let’s go back—” Xia Lulu stood up, ready to leave.
“Your Majesty, how should we handle this?” The other dragon guards asked.
“Bury what needs to be buried.”
“Your Majesty, I mean that human.”
“Hmm?”
Xia Lulu glanced over and found that the armor in the pool of blood had moved.
“I’ll deal with that human.” Her eyes showed a ripple of interest as she approached Wright.
After Xia Lulu got closer, Wright’s hand suddenly moved, grabbing onto Xia Lulu’s boot.
But Wright’s voice had already begun to change, sounding very delicate.
“I want to… challenge you… Silver Dragon Queen!”
Xia Lulu noticed that this human’s hair had grown longer, black hair spilling out from the helmet.
The terrifying energy of the dragon’s curse had not killed this human, but instead caused an abnormal change in him.
Interesting.
The corners of Xia Lulu’s mouth curled up, her dragon pupils flashing with an eerie light. She wanted to do an experiment.
A chilling aura spread from her, the huge dragons around the petite Dragon Queen bowed their heads, the air seemed to freeze, suffocating.
This was the Dragon King’s Pressure.
“Oh dear, you’ve been eroded by the dragon’s curse yet still retain your self. Such a brave sword saint, drink up, this is your reward.”
Xia Lulu bit her own tongue tip, blood spilling from her cherry lips, sliding down her fair face, drops of dragon blood carrying the Dragon King’s curse fell in front of Wright.
“I don’t need it… I want… to surpass the dragons! Holy Sword!”
Wright tried to grab the Holy Sword, but Xia Lulu simply lifted her foot and stomped down mercilessly.
His Holy Sword… shattered.
“Since you don’t want the reward, then I’ll give you punishment!”
Xia Lulu kicked off Wright’s helmet with one foot.
The originally sharp and distinct male face had softened, the tearful appearance was excessively delicate, it was a girl’s face.
“This is a more exciting curse than before. I want to see if you can still survive. Hehe—”
The Silver Dragon Queen wrapped Wright’s neck with her dragon tail, lifting him up, and then personally fed him the curse.
…
Six years later.
Dragon Palace.
In Xia Lulu’s room, the flames in the fireplace burned slowly, the dim light casting the shadows of two girls on the wall, snuggling together affectionately.
“The self-proclaimed dragon slayer, the Human Sword Saint, invaded the territory of the dragon race,” Xia Lulu held a book and read slowly, “He said he wanted to challenge the Dragon Queen.”
“What an arrogant human!” The girl beside Xia Lulu huffed.
Her appearance was as if she was carved from the same mold as Xia Lulu, her silver hair cascading like a waterfall… her childish face gradually revealing the beauty of a peerless beauty, wearing a pure white princess dress that made her look petite and cute, the large tail representing the dragon race trailing behind her, extremely eye-catching.
This was the little Dragon Princess, and also Xia Lulu’s only daughter, Xia Yi · Christie.
Listening to Xia Lulu’s story, Xia Yi puffed out her cheeks, her little feet wrapped in white silk stockings swinging back and forth, expressing her emotions.
“Just a mere human, how dare he be so arrogant! It’s best that I don’t encounter this so-called sword saint, otherwise… This princess will just slap him to death with one swipe of my tail!”
“When facing enemies, as a member of the dragon race, you must never show mercy. You must let the other party understand their own weakness and the greatness of the dragon race.”
“Okay, Mother, I know!”
Xia Yi showed a sweet smile.
This was the happiest time of her day, being able to stay with her most beloved mother.
As the princess of the dragons, she would need to take over her mother’s position in the future and always had to spend a lot of time studying…
But most of the time, she was just playing around.
“Mother, what happened to that dragon slayer afterwards?”
“Xia Yi, what do you think?” Xia Lulu looked at her daughter and smiled too.
Xia Yi thought for a moment and came to a conclusion, “Do I even need to say it? That dragon slayer must have failed miserably!”
