Isekai: The Eight Soul Fragments

It was now the weekends, there was a lot of tension in the Preeliance castle, though the other countries this time were not involved. But with the many things that had happened in the castle, two groups were now preparing their cases for a trial.

Keith was already awake, and when he heard about what the other Sentinels had planned, he tried to convince them to change their mind in regards to Josh's actions. He wanted to try and at the very least give him a chance as it was a moment where Josh was not composed.

However, knowing that they were trying to protect him from danger, he understood their perspectives. Thus, he decided to be on the side that will try to protect Josh for the case. Keith left the Hall of Sentinels for the time being and went towards the dungeon, where Josh is being held. There, he found Josh, who had been doing nothing but sleep for the past few days. Keith could only mutter as he watched his state. "Josh..." Keith knew that Josh was simply enraged, and had pretty much lost himself. He was still able to stop him with the help of Serkyrio giving him the [Tree of Timelines], but he knew that at that point, he would be unable to stop Josh due to his panic. "Could I have done better...?" Keith continued his train of thoughts, but he eventually stopped and thought about not giving in. "Yeah, we can still change him. I know, Draxus will consider it. He knows that the true problem is Gayle, and not Josh... Hopefully he could consider it..." Keith continued to think about what to say in the courtroom as he watches Josh simply hide away in the bed.

Draxus finally returned to the Preeliance castle, immediately arriving to the Hall of Sentinels as that's where his fiancés usually gather. Olivia was there to greet him immediately. "Drax~!" She immediately hugged him, happy with his return to Preeliance. He wasn't in any deadly mission but was simply told to take a breather.

Audrey arrived to the Sentinel Hall and immediately went towards Draxus. "Drax, I'm here to make a report." The fiancés knew what Audrey is trying to report. They tried to stop her but she immediately just spoke out everything. "Keith was nearly killed by Josh in a fit of rage." As Audrey simply spoke out what had happened, the temperature dropped in the entire Hall of Sentinels. His aura was absolutely terrifying, even Audrey, who had released a similar aura when she got the report of Keith nearly dying was shaken to her very core. His fiancés, who were not the target of the aura were also quite shaken, Olivia tugged Draxus' arm which snapped him back to reality. Draxus clenched his left hand, trying to remain composed as he gave his reponse to Audrey. "I assume that there is going to be a trial soon? Then I'll partake as judge." 

Since there was still a day before the trial, everyone returned to their respective rooms for the day. Draxus was left alone for the time being, with no one disturbing him for what he's doing. He opened his left hand and noticed that he had buried his fingers deep into his palm that it started bleeding. Then, he remembered that he has to take care of his fiancés. "Should I actually kill him?" Draxus had considered many things, not wanting to take any more chances with Josh, with his actions being absolutely unforgivable. Then Draxus remembered some words of the Sentinels, specifically Audrey and Keith. "He's always going to end up as a failure, not only after acting on an opportunity to hurt you, he was fooled by the snaking bitch's words. It's better if he disappears away or better yet, killed since he doesn't bring anything productive." Audrey's words to him about Josh were harsh, relentless, and merciless. She had extreme hatred to anyone that had dared to hurt her closest friends. In the meantime, he remembered what Keith had said. "I was hoping that at the very least I could mend what had happened between you two. I know that without Gayle as a factor, the two of you would turn into great friends. It's just terrible circumstances that led both of you into that..." Keith considers a lot in regards to the possibilities of mending everything. He wants to try and possibly fix things, even if nobody had asked him. He would do whatever he could to try and help multiple sides of his friends to try and get everyone to get along. Draxus was in awe with his determination, of wanting to try and get everyone to be happy together aside from those he could never see any possibility of trusting. While Audrey tries her best to protect her friends from any harm, Keith tries his best to get his friends who are in conflict to save them from ending one another. It was two perspectives that have their best answers, both are completely reasonable regardless of whether it is harsh or not.

Draxus' injury on his palm had already healed, he stayed awake for the night while thinking about what to do tomorrow for the trial.

Back on the highest balcony of the castle, Serkyrio was fiddling with the amethyst gem. He had his eyes closed, but he was completely focused on what is happening around the castle. "It should be about time..." The amethyst gem was starting to dim, as if the power in it was weakening. "At that point, Draxus should know what to do, I will undo his seal at his peak of rage, and this is where the developments within them will end. This way, Draxus should no longer concern himself on dealing with their group." Serkyrio looked bored as he had worked around on awakening the other members. However, with the recent development and noticing beforehand that Keith will likely face an end, he decided to intervene with them for the time being and forcefully end the problems in a way that forcefully develops Draxus' judgement. "Besides, it definitely needs a debut now that I have changed the cards." Serkyrio brought out a tarot card, which Draxus had lent the whole set for him to modify. "As the Prime Existence, he will still be the one that will judge the worlds once he fully reawakens." Serkyrio simply waited as the time finally arrives.

The next day, everyone had gathered towards the court room, Draxus had to do the opening spiel since there was nobody else that could do it.

Josh was brought to the defendant's stand, seeing Draxus sit at the judge's seat fueled him with anger, trying to blame him for everything that had happened. Gayle and Keith acted as his lawyers. The prosecution then made their statement, which was Audrey as she knew some bits of the court. "The defendant here has done something that can potentially ruin the livelihood of the castle, specifically the [Order of the Crystallized Sentinels]. Attempted murder against Keith Nagual, his death will completely affect not only the livelihood of various members, but also affect the future mission against Aquila." Draxus, once again angered by what Josh had done, was calmed down by Olivia who was tugging his sleeve. "Josh, how do you plead?" Josh clicked his tongue in frustration and simply stayed silent, planning to not follow anything. "Do you have no intention of pleading? Then I shall make your plea for you as [Not Guilt-]." "I plead for [Insanity]." "Hmph, there you go." Draxus didn't want to waste anymore time. Gayle tried to expound on Josh's plea. "Josh's insanity was caused by the constant feelings of anxiety present in him. He has been inhibiting signs of BPD, or Borderline personality disorder. The cause of his current loss of sanity was because of me leaving for a short bounty." "So you're the cause for his outburst? Which led to Keith nearly dying because of his stupidity." Josh continued to listen as he could hear Audrey constantly push them into a corner, having clear intent of getting Josh eliminated completely. At that point, he was wishing for it. The power that allowed him to nearly suffocate Keith, he wanted to use it against Audrey so she could just shut up. Since Gayle doesn't have her Mysteria, she wasn't able to take notice of it. Abigail however, who was next to Draxus was reading the minds of both parties, when she noticed Josh's thoughts, she immediately whispered to Draxus, but before Draxus could do something, they could sense a surge of power coming from Josh. 

Draxus noticed that the purple chains in his body was dispelled, but he didn't waste time and activated one of his souls without the assistance of his card. "[Wandering Abomination]! [Duplicate to Dimension Zero]!" Everyone in the room, the Sentinel's vice chiefs, Draxus' fiancés, Layla, Gayle, Josh, Pauleen, Juniper, Aaliyah, Tiffany, Lawrence, all of them were moved into Draxus' dimension along with the courtroom.
