The week went so fast with the charity ball just few days ahead. Invitations has been sent out and every other things has been set... Cas has been returning home late and leaving very early... Even though myself have been busy as well but I kinda miss him sometimes. He returns when I have fallen asleep and leaves before I wake up. I heard him one night apologizing for his late nights but that he needed time to take care of something and ensure my safety. I didn't bother him since I have lots to do myself.

Dinnggg...

I checked my phone and it's the girls.

Ella: Shopping time guys...

Scar: I'm in.... It's been a while we last did something together.. I miss you all.

Grace: shopping it is then...

Me: Why are we shopping again?

Grace: Hello Ma'am... Have you gotten a dress for the charity ball?

Me: Do I have to. I have lots of clothes I haven't even won. I can pick something there... I'm really busy right now guys. Please....

Ella : Well we knew you would back out so we asked your PA to clear your schedule for the rest of the day... As a matter of fact I'm on my way to pick you up.

Me: What? Nooo... I need to...

Grace: To Recheck on the Hall, invitees and meet the hospitals for final checks... Your PA can do all that. She's happy and willing to do them so please get your ass down here or we come upstairs to drag you down.

I sigh knowing there's no way they are letting me out of this... This is going to be a long adventure... I'm already famished, I guess I will grab something on the way. I quickly texted Cas telling him I'm going out with the girls. Picking up my stuffs I went out of my office but couldn't find Ava, I texted her too. Informing her I'm leaving the office. I guess she thinks I would shout at her, for arranging with my friends, I saw a sticky note on the door telling me to enjoy my day.

I went downstairs and met Grace and Ella already waiting for me.

They crash hugged me... Typical of them.

Scar will join us there, Ella answered my unasked question.

I rode with them while Mario was following at a good distance. I'm not sure if I will ever get used to Mario following me everywhere, most of the times, he always keep a distance but on other times he's where I am.

We got to Emma's building, yea, Emma has practically turned all of us her models and trust Ella to be really obsessed with her fashion Sense.

I thought you guys wouldn't drag her here, Emma, who was standing by the door said Making it obvious that she has been waiting for us.

Emma offered us drinks and ordered pizza for everyone after I protested that I need to eat first. She was so happy to have us and have been waiting for us to wear her latest design and collection.

She asked the girls to go around and check what they would like while she go get my clothes as she has made two dresses specially for me.

Emma, two dresses? Why?

Common, Ivy. You're the center of attraction for this event... I made two dresses, one for the main event and the other for your after party.

What after party? I'm the one that planned the event and I know there's no extra party afterwards. What are you talking about? I asked confused.

I mean, you will definitely need a second cloth. Come on, you made the event and all white color theme and we would definitely want to chill out after a whole hard work. Relax and trust me. Emma said.

I could hear the giggles of the girls over the choice of their clothes...

Emma left to get my clothes and I am left in my own world.

Ian has been calling everyday before he goes to bed and I can't love him less. Cas has mentioned that we would be visiting Tony and his mom after the result comes out to talk to her and thank her personally and also discuss the adoption process. I can't believe he asked me to be Ian's guardian too. I mean I love the cute champ but this is a totally different game all together.

What has Cas been up to these days. He seems so busy and worried. I remember I heard him over the phone telling someone that he needs to seal everything and that way he could protect what's his. Makes me wondering if someone is seeking to take over the company. I know how hard he's working for the company. I hope he would let me in on what's going on but I would trust him for now. I brought out my phone and click on his pictures. Both the ones I took without him knowing and the ones we took together. He looks ravishing as always. How did I get myself a man like that. I stopped at the last picture I have taken with him on the bed. A picture taken after our make out. He had just finished eating me out and refused I do same for him since he doesn't want to wear me out with actual sex... I was pouting and he took a picture of me pouting... And that was how we started clicking more pictures of us.

Hrrmmgghhh Emma cleared her voice bringing me out to the present world.

I know you love my brother and all but could you not droll over his pictures here. You both literally live in the same house. You can meet him later in few hours.

I smiled and kept my phone aside and followed her to the dressing area.

She has a white dress and a red dress as well. She handed me the white dress first to change into. I went into the cubicle and changed.

Wow.... Emma really outdid herself here. It's a bodycon fish shaped dress with a longer tale at the back and a slit in the front. It has a tiny double straps that ran across my shoulders with flower embroider at the center. This is heavenly. I love it already. I quickly stepped out for them to see and I immediately got three wows.



Emma's eyes was glittering with happiness.

You really killed this dress Vy, Emma said. Why don't you consider modeling, I mean model for me in my up coming fashion show. You have the body and you're beautiful as fuck.

I giggled and replied that I would think about it...

Emma, this is so beautiful scar said.

Yes it is. Beautiful is an understatement... It's fabulous. Ella replied.

I mouthed a thank you to Emma and went back in to take the clothe off.

Emma handed me the red dress to also try on too.

I went in and took the white dress off and changed into the red one.

It's a strap short dress that stopped just before my knees . It's simple but elegant. I love it but I keep wondering when I would actually wear it.



I stepped out and their expressions are ok. Giving a satisfactory nod. I went in to remove them.

I came back right out and they have already set out a table with pizza on it.

I sat down and grabbed mine. This is nice I moaned. We all talked about the clothes we have gotten. Grace said we would be going to get shoes and bags as well. Oh God, I thought we are done. I can't wait to head home.

We chatted and finished our food and we are ready to go. Emma is tagging along because according to her, she's my personal stylist in everything I'm going to wear. Did I mention that she made me swear that she will be my wedding stylist as well...

I mean why not. She's a badass in what she does...

We got to our first stop and started looking around with Emma dragging me around.

Emma aren't you supposed to be getting for yourself as well.

Mine has been taken care of. Don't worry. She replied.

We got two stunning clutches to go with the dresses and two heels

The white heels matching with the white dress and the black heels to go with the red dress.

Trust Ella to drag us to Victoria secrets. Not like I need them but I got few or rather they forced me to get few. With them actually making a choice for me.

By the time we are done it's already getting late... But few times I felt like someone has been watching me. I know Mario is there but it feels like an extra eyes are on me. I have looked around so many times but I couldn't see anyone. I checked the girls to know if they had the same feeling but it looks like they are having the fun of their life and I'm the only one over thinking.

We bid our goodbyes and everyone left while I joined Mario in the car.

After a while, I looked back and the feeling that someone is following us came back again.

Mario, is that car following us? I asked.

No ma'am, I don't think so. He answered. Even though he was avoiding looking at my eye through the mirror.

After a while, he cursed and dialed a number. He spoke in a foreign language and accent which I haven't noticed he had.

He asked me not to worry and grab a hold on the car handle as he needs to speed up a bit more.

What's going on Mario?

He refused to answer but I noticed he diverted to a different route. I checked and it seems I was right about a car tailing us.

My mind went on a search about who it could be that wants to harm us.

I dread that it could be that son of a gun. Fear griped me immediately but I immediately remember I have people by my side now.

Mario stepped on the car and it seems like we manage to loose them.

For the rest of the ride, I was quiet. What if he comes here. What if he comes for Caspian... What if he gets close to people I love just to get to me..

God, what exactly do I do.. my mind races through so many ifs. I hope Cas is home. I need him to be careful as well.

We're here Ma'am... Mario spoke up. Bringing me out from my thoughts.

I stepped out from the car and all guards are standing alert... Bowing briefly as I walk pass them with a greeting.

Mario help with the bags inside the house which I'm thankful.

I stepped into the house and it's peach black and quiet which means Cas is not home. Mario left and the security alert was activated automatically.

I tried calling him but he's not picking. I feel scared all of a sudden. I ran upstairs to Cas room lock the door and changed into one of his clothes. I have no appetite to eat or do anything else. I lay on the bed and covered myself up.

It took me awhile but I eventually slept off.

Waking up in the morning with headaches is one thing but not hearing from Cas is another different story.

I called him again but he's still not picking up.

"Call me when you get this, I'm worried about you" I dropped him a message.

Taking a shower, and getting ready for work. I'm still not feeling ok but I have got some stuffs to do.

I went down for some tea and snack even when I'm not feeling it to eat but I need to feed my system. I stepped out but Mario informed me that his Boss, Cas asked him not to allow me out of the house today.

Why? I asked. Where is he? Is he alright?

He kept mute and I understood that he's not going to say anything further.

The securities around the house has increased and there's no way I can pass by them.

I called him again and it went to voicemail.

I'm starting to feel helpless and I don't like it. Why can't I go out and why can't he pick my calls.

I went inside and started crying. The incident of last night kept disturbing me and Caspian is no where around. He's not even answering his calls.

God, I just hope he's fine and this bastard has not found me here, whom am I kidding? The last event exposed me to the whole world and even my parents has already known where I am so why wouldn't HE?

My mind ran into so many scenarios and I couldn't help but feel scared for myself and for people around me. For Cas, Ian And my friends. I know a lot has changed and given that I learnt taekwondo I have no much to worry but there's always a limit to what I han handle. I really need Cas at this particular moment.

Ding... Notification from Ava came in informing me that I don't need to come to work today as she has taking care of today's schedules. She said she has sent me some files and I can go over them later. The event is tomorrow. I have literally done everything needed to do and Ava is checking on the finishing touches. So glad I have her, she's really been so helpful.

I sent her a reply, thanked her and went back upstairs. Went into his room and changed into his cloth.

I started working immediately, trying to get my mind off things. I had few business calls and I was done.

Chatted with the girls for a little while before I went to lay on the bed.

I haven't really known how exhausted I am until I lay back down and slept off immediately.
