1..2...3...4..5...
Five whole minutes of silence. If he wasn't seated directly to me, I would have thought he left the room. I mean, he's sitting there with his mouth slightly open. I couldn't read his expression and for a little while I began to panic.
Baby... Did you hear what I said? I asked.
Baby? Cas?
I got up and went closer to him. I touched his face to be sure nothing is wrong with him and that's when a tear rolled down his eye.
Baby, what's wrong?...
He held me, hugging me to him. He made me sit on his lap being careful not to fall the tray of breakfast.
What's wrong Cas? I repeated.
He shook his head two sides signaling that it's nothing. He held me so that my breast made a pillow for his head. Good thing I have washed up and putting on his shirt now.
After awhile, He placed his hand on my stomach, looking straight to my face, he said. "Thank you"
I mean, this is unexpected but Ivy this is such a great gift. I am going to be a father... He said looking amazed.
What's the Drama all about, you scare me. I was thinking you don't want the baby or I did something wrong. I said.
No.. no... No please. I'm so happy, Ivy you make me complete and you've given me the greatest gift. And from today, you are prohibited from lifting anything, climbing the stairs, don't worry I will be lifting you. You don't have to start working again and....
Baby... Calm down... I cut him off. I'm not cripple. Why are you being so dramatic.
I got up and moved away from him, pacing around.
Why should I stop working? I mean, I'm not showing yet. Cas it's just a month old. It's not like this is your first child. We have Ian and he will be six in 6 months. Cas I....
Exactly, Ivy. I wasn't there for Ian when he was born. I don't even know what and how to be a proper father. I'm just trying to be the best I can for you and our kids. He cut in....
Ivy... he continued, This time he got up and held me in place. All these are new to me but with you by my side, I can do it. I have got more than enough for the entire family.
Cas, i understand, but what about the company that your aunt handed over to me. I have responsibilities over it. I can't let her down either....
Shhhh... Baby, you're not letting anyone down. You can work from home. Ava is more than capable to take care of things until you're back. Trust me baby and listen to me...
I rolled my eyes because I knew this is not going to end soon and we better get going or we totally miss the appointment, we're already super late...
I'm not accepting this but let's get going because it's way past the time. I told him.
He pecked me and moved to the bathroom while I go into the walk in closet to change. You're not working and that's final. He added.
We got to the hospital and met the doctor who was too happy to see us. She wasn't even mad that we were late by two hours. "Perks of being an Asher"
She introduced herself as Doctor Camelia Connor but we can call her Doctor Cam. She's a very cheerful person and always wears a smile. She complimented me and took us to a room filled with some equipments and a computer.
The excitement of impending parenthood had filled us, but nothing prepared us for the surprise that awaited.
As lay on the examination table, Caspian sat beside me, holding my hand. The room was quiet, filled only with the soft hum of the ultrasound machine as the doctor moved the wand over my belly. We both watched the screen, Caspian's grip tightening slightly, his protective nature surfacing in the quiet, focused attention he gave the process. I squeezed his hand, feeling both his support and his excitement.
Then, the doctor paused, a smile spreading across her face as she looked at us. "I have some wonderful news," she said, glancing back at the screen.
Caspian and I exchanged a look, our brows furrowing in curiosity.
"You're not just having one baby," the doctor continued, her eyes twinkling. "You're having twins."
The words hung in the air for a moment, a mix of astonishment and joy washing over us. My eyes widened, my free hand covering my mouth as a laugh bubbled up, full of both surprise and happiness. Caspian, usually so controlled and composed, blinked, his expression shifting from stunned disbelief to a rare, boyish grin.
"Twins?" he repeated, looking from me to the doctor, as if he needed confirmation again.
"Yes, twins," the doctor replied, smiling warmly. "Two heartbeats, strong and perfectly healthy."
I felt tears pricking at the corners of my eyes as I looked up at Caspian, my hand still tightly in his. "Can you believe it?" I whispered, her voice choked with emotion. "Two babies."
Caspian leaned down, pressing a tender kiss to my forehead. "It's perfect," he murmured, his voice filled with a wonder I had never heard before. "More than we could have imagined."
Doctor Cam continued with the ultrasound, showing us the images of our babies, pointing out the small, delicate heartbeats of each one. Caspian held my hand through it all, unable to take his eyes off the screen. The realization that he would be a father not just to one child, but to two, brought a new depth to his protective instincts, a fierce love that had already begun to take root in his heart.
The doctor printed some copies as requested by Cas. She wiped the gel off me and handed us the images.
She went and to dish out instructions and some prescriptions. Cas listen with utmost attentiveness as if he's the one carrying the pregnancy. I nearly burst out laughing.
I asked the doctor if all she said means I'm perfectly fit to work.
I can feel Cas drilling a hole on both mine and doctor's head, daring her to say something he doesn't want.
Well, doctor Cam started. Professionally, you are perfectly healthy and nothing stops you from working, however you must not over work yourself, you must eat well and take enough water as well as vitamins. Exercise too, sex is also a form of exercise for you. You should also keep coming for your checks up and you will be fine. The doctor finished.
I smiled and turned to Cas who's already not too happy.
You're still not working, he said and went out to get our prescriptions. He came back almost immediately. We bid our farewell and we left the hospital.
As we left the appointment, I could barely contain my excitement, my mind racing with thoughts of how our lives would change, of the beautiful, chaotic future that awaited us. Caspian's arm was around me, steady and sure, as we walked to the car, and he looked down at me with a smile that held both joy and determination.
"Two babies, Ivy," he said softly, as if to confirm it once more. "Our family is going to be even bigger than we thought."
I beamed up at him, my heart full. "They're going to be so loved, Caspian. They're going to have the most wonderful father."
He pulled me close, his voice filled with a rare vulnerability. "And the best mother. Together, Ivy…we're going to give them everything."
We drove home in a quiet, joyful awe, already imagining what life would be like with two little ones, two beautiful souls we would cherish and protect. Ian would be very happy and I can't wait to share the new with everyone.
We got home and Cas' started with his instructions, telling Mather of what she's to start doing from now on. He asked her to cut some fruits for me while the food is getting done. I will employ another maid to help you in cleaning and all since our family is getting bigger. Ian would be arriving after we come back from our honeymoon.
I shake my head and mouthed " I'm sorry" to her. She nodded her head with lots of smiles on her face. She came to hug me beaming with happiness. "I understand" she had whispered.
You do? I asked. Not sure of what she's talking about.
She laughed and said. Dear, I am a mother myself and I know what all his instructions means. I'm happy for you. And don't worry, just let me Know of whatever you may want to eat and it will be prepared.
That night, as we lay together, our hands resting over my belly, we both knew that the journey we had started was more profound than we could have ever expected. And now, with the news of our twins, our love and joy had doubled, promising a future even more full than they had dared to dream.
We also decided to call everyone together for dinner tomorrow and announce the news. Cas excused himself to make few calls.
I slept off feeling so satisfied.
The next day. The sun has promised a sunny day and I feel more alive. I have checked my phone and it's filled with messages from the squad. I didn't reply because I knew I might spill the beans before they get here. I called Ava to see how things are going at the office. Mather made a French breakfast for me as my husband has left the house earlier for something important as he said.
Mather and I had already started on the preparation for the evening gathering, with Mather not allowing me to do almost nothing, even after all my pleas. We I still have my ways despite all.
Like Cas promised, he had gotten someone immediately whom Brandon sent over. Her name is Tyler. At first she's shy and reserved but after a few hours of work around the house, she came around. The only thing is that she couldn't stop calling me Mrs Asher.
Mather said, she would still come around and she trusts Brandon's pick.
As the evening draws near Caspian has returned, our families started coming and I once again became a little nervous.
Tony and Ian arrived and my happiness multiplied although Ian has been running around with my friends who are definitely spoiling him. We would be showing him his room later and I hope he likes it.
It seems someone has deleted me from her memory because she's now a mom, a sexy one I must say. Tony teased.
Commo, you know that's not true besides, we talk on phone too. We hugged and he took off to find something to snack on. Seriously, Ian, Tony and Brandon should really have a competition on who likes snack more because these three are like they came from the same Gene.
Caspian and I had planned the gathering at our estate, an intimate dinner with our loved ones. The evening was perfect, with warm candlelight casting a golden glow over the dining room and a gentle hum of conversation filling the air.
My parents and Cas' parents seems to be bonding more than you could imagine. They have started making plans on travelling together.
Everyone knew there was something special about this dinner, though no one quite knew why. Caspian and I exchanged quiet smiles throughout the meal, sharing the kind of look that only two people deeply in love could understand. Caspian, ever the master at holding his emotions close, seemed to have an unusual warmth in his eyes as he watched me, his hand often resting protectively on mine, he would stroke my inner thigh and tease me. God knows I'm getting hot. My cheeks glowed with a radiant joy, the kind of happiness that couldn't be hidden.
As dinner drew to a close, Caspian stood, lifting his glass. The room fell quiet, all eyes on him, sensing that something important was about to be shared.
"I want to thank all of you for being here with us tonight," he began, his voice steady but filled with emotion. He glanced down at me, giving me hand a gentle squeeze before continuing. "Ivy and I have been through so much together. And tonight, we wanted to share some special news with those closest to us."
I smiled, my eyes sparkling, and gave a small nod for him to go on.
Caspian took a deep breath, his voice softening as he looked back at their friends and family. "We're expecting a child. Ivy and I…we're going to be parents." "I mean Twins actually"
For a brief moment, there was stunned silence as the words sunk in. And then, the room erupted in a mix of laughter, cheers, and applause. My friends gathered around me, hugging me tightly, while Caspian's closest confidants Brandon clapped him on the back, congratulating him with genuine warmth. There was an air of joy and celebration that filled every corner of the room, a feeling of unity in their shared happiness.
Caspian's mother had tears in her eyes as she embraced her son, holding him tightly. "I am so proud of you, Cas," she whispered, her voice choked with emotion. "This child will be blessed to have you as a father."
Caspian's expression softened as he hugged her back, feeling a sense of pride and love he hadn't expected.
Meanwhile, Ivy's friends were already talking about baby names, nursery decor, and the tiny clothes they would shower her with. I laughed, feeling overwhelmed by their excitement, yet grateful to have such support and love around her. So Happy I have them. Yes they are crazy but I love them.
Emma has been screaming the entire night... She was so stunned that she had to hold Ian and told him that their dream is coming true. They would have a little sister or sisters as the case may be to spoil.
As the evening wore on, Caspian and I found a quiet moment by the fireplace, watching as our friends and family continued to celebrate. Caspian wrapped an arm around my shoulders, pulling me close, and kissed my forehead.
"Are you happy?" he asked softly, his voice filled with a quiet tenderness.
I looked up at him, my hand resting on her not so growing belly. "More than I ever thought possible. And it's because of you, Caspian. You've given me everything I never dared to dream of."
He smiled, a rare vulnerability showing in his gaze. "You've given me that, too, Ivy. And soon, we'll have even more to share."
We stood together, watching every of our loved ones, feeling the warmth of our new chapter unfold with every smile, every laugh.
Ian ran to us and we decided to show him his room as everyone were still busy with excitement.
Brandon, and the squad had put careful thought into creating a space for Ian, wanting it to feel like a true sanctuary for him. As we opened the door to reveal his new room, Ian's eyes widened with excitement and wonder.
The room was spacious and painted in a soft blue that felt calming yet bright. On one wall, a beautiful mural depicted a gentle woodland scene, with trees, birds, and animals peeking out from behind leaves. There was even a small squirrel on a tree branch, just waiting to be discovered, adding an element of playful adventure. Brandon had thought Ian would enjoy imagining himself exploring his own mini-forest.
Against another wall was a sturdy bed, dressed in a cozy comforter adorned with little airplanes and clouds— a nod to Ian's fascination with flying. Soft pillows and a fluffy blanket made it inviting, and at the foot of the bed was a small stuffed bear, a new friend for Ian to cuddle.
Across from the bed stood a child-sized wooden desk with drawers, stocked with crayons, colored pencils, and paper. There were a few books stacked on a shelf nearby, each one filled with stories of adventure and imagination. Ella had even placed a small globe on the desk, encouraging Ian's curiosity about the world.
A large toy chest sat in one corner, overflowing with soft toys, cars, and even a model airplane. Nearby, a small, comfortable armchair sat beneath a floor lamp, creating a cozy nook perfect for bedtime stories.
The finishing touches were framed photos on the wall, taken on little outings with the girls, Brandon, Tony and myself. There's one with Caspian from the day he met Ian the first time. Tony had taken the pictures that day.
They hoped these photos would help Ian feel secure, reminding him he was surrounded by love.
As Ian took it all in, his face broke into a huge grin. He ran to the bed, leapt onto it, and gave the bear a hug, his eyes sparkling with joy. Caspian and I watched with smiles, feeling a deep satisfaction in knowing they had given him a place he could call his own, a place he could truly feel at home. We couldn't be more prouder as parents.
We left him to feel his space alone and enjoy his new room.
We had shopped for him too. Clothes, shoes and everything we think he would like. Caspian is doing everything to cover the Gap and space he had lost in his life and I will be here to support him.
We went down to meet everyone. They all wished us a sweet honeymoon as we will leave tomorrow...
The girls took me to a room a started their own crazy ideas...
I had laughed with all the crazy suggestions. Grace told me to go on a day naked lady day. Whatever that's means, Ella and Scar had said they have packed enough lingerie and two clothes for sight seeing.
Did you guys forgot I'm pregnant already. I asked.
Yes, that's why we are doing this. You would be double horny now. Grace replied...
You guyssssss.... I covered my blushing face and ran away.
Everyone finally gone, Mather and Tyler had retired too.
Looking for Caspian and he's in his study. I went close to his desks discarded the last piece of cloth on me. He looked up but couldn't say anything. His eyes has gone a darker shade of blue. He made to stand up but I pushed him back down on his chair. I attacked his lips and he wasted no time in responding. It's as if we have both been hungry for each other.
You're becoming more fierce Wife, he spoke.
And you're becoming more soft Husband. I want your fucking dick inside of my pussy now.
He yanked his belt off as I help him discard his pants. I sat on him, sliding myself in with a satisfactory moan. He attacked my breasts that are directly to his face as I began to move. Balancing myself I found a pace...
Our moans and groans fills the space as we both fuck each other. After a while he stood up with me in his arms. Placing me on the desk, he spread my legs apart and began pounding into me. It was the hard I needed even though he's trying to be careful with me.
Ahhhhh Cas.. yes yes yes yes.... I creamed.
Arhhhh arhh arhhh arhhh. I keep moaning until we both came.
I can't get enough of this pussy he whispered... I smiled
We are not done Wife... he took me to our room and it was a night of dick and pussy joining till we fell asleep.
