Chapter 41: Yuki's chaotic first day at school spirals into a whirlwind of awkward encounters, unexpected friendships, and a surprising encounter with the gyaru Kitsune
Scene: Kitsune and Taiyo Searching for Yuki
The hallways of Kamiyama High bustled with students finding their classrooms, chatting loudly, and navigating the chaos of the first day. Kitsune strode ahead of her group of gyaru friends, her sharp eyes scanning the crowd. She adjusted her bag slung over one shoulder, her long hair swishing behind her like a cape.
"Where is she?!" Kitsune muttered to herself, her voice tinged with both impatience and excitement. "I can't let that cute little bunny escape me. She's perfect!"
One of her friends giggled. "Kitsune, you're totally obsessing over her already!"
"Of course I am!" Kitsune shot back, grinning. "Did you see how flustered she was? That's premium-grade cuteness right there."
Trailing behind, Taiyo sighed heavily. "Kitsune, you're making it weird."
She turned and jabbed a finger in his direction. "Don't act like you're innocent! You're the one who laughed at her and made her run off in the first place."
"Yeah, but I wasn't planning to pounce on her," Taiyo said, exasperated. "You're acting like she's some kind of lost puppy."
"Lost?!" Kitsune's expression turned dreamy. "She's not lost—she's a rare gem waiting to be polished and treasured. Now, come on!" She waved for him to follow as she surged ahead.

Scene: Finding Yuki
Yuki stood frozen in the middle of the hallway, clutching a crumpled school map in one hand, her other hand trembling as it hovered over her heart. She was hopelessly lost, her dream seat in the classroom—back row, near the window—seeming like an unattainable goal.
"Why is this school so confusing?!" she muttered under her breath, glancing around nervously.
Just then, her eyes locked onto Taiyo, who was walking briskly toward her. Her face immediately turned crimson. Oh no, not him again!
Taiyo spotted her at the same moment and hesitated. He could see the panic in her wide eyes and raised a hand awkwardly, trying to seem non-threatening. "Hey! I just wanted to—"
Before he could finish, Yuki spun around, ready to bolt. But she didn't get far before she collided head-on with Kitsune, who had just rounded the corner at full speed.
"Found you!" Kitsune exclaimed triumphantly, her voice brimming with energy.
Yuki stumbled back, her brain short-circuiting at the sight of the gyaru's confident grin. "W-Who are you?! What do you want?!"
Kitsune's group caught up, snickering behind her, while Taiyo stood off to the side, looking both relieved and worried.
"Relax, bunny-chan," Kitsune cooed, placing a hand on Yuki's shoulder. "I just wanted to say hi. You're new here, right? I think you'd fit perfectly in our group."
"I-I don't even know you!" Yuki stammered, trying to inch away, but Kitsune's grip tightened.
"That's fine," Kitsune said with a wink. "We can get to know each other later. For now..." Her eyes drifted down, and before anyone could stop her, she reached out and grabbed Yuki's chest.

Scene: Yuri Ecchi Moment
"Whoa," Kitsune whispered, her fingers lightly pressing into the soft fabric of Yuki's uniform. "These are... wow. Are you secretly a model or something?"
"KITSUNE!" Taiyo shouted, his face redder than a tomato.
Yuki, meanwhile, was completely frozen, her mouth opening and closing like a fish out of water. Her entire body felt like it was about to combust.
"Let... go... of... me," Yuki finally managed to squeak, her voice barely audible over the pounding of her heart.
"Can't help it," Kitsune said playfully, giving an exaggerated sigh. "They're just so... mesmerizing. Seriously, what's your secret? Do you drink magic milk or something?"
"MAGIC MILK?!" Yuki shrieked, her panic levels skyrocketing.
Taiyo lunged forward and tried to intervene, but Kitsune waved him off. "Shh, bro. I'm bonding."
The absurdity of the situation overwhelmed Yuki, and in a desperate bid to escape, she enacted her ultimate survival tactic: playing dead.
Her body went completely limp, her head lolled to the side, and she let out the faintest, most pitiful groan.
"Y-Yuki?!" Kitsune's playful demeanor instantly evaporated as she caught the full weight of the "lifeless" girl in her arms. Her face paled. "Oh no, did I break her?!"
"Kitsune, what did you do?!" Taiyo exclaimed, rushing forward in alarm.
"I-I didn't mean to!" Kitsune stammered, gently shaking Yuki. "Come on, bunny-chan, wake up! I was just joking! You're okay, right?"
The moment Kitsune loosened her grip, Yuki's eyes snapped open, and she darted out of her arms like a startled deer.
"Catch me if you can, suckers!" Yuki yelled, bolting down the hall at lightning speed.
Kitsune blinked, stunned, before shouting, "Wait! Come back! I wasn't done admiring you!"
Taiyo groaned, burying his face in his hands. "This is a disaster."
Kitsune turned to her group, fire in her eyes. "We're not giving up, girls. That bunny is joining my group if it's the last thing I do!"
