Jitsu -A different story-

Chapter 47: Don't do it again...

"Calm down, Shizune-chan. They will arrive safely." The reason why Kurono was saying that was because of the worried expression that was on Shizune's face.

"But nobody knows if something unforeseen could happen, it's been a long time since Rena called me." Shizune didn't want to worry Kurono either, but she wouldn't be calm until she saw Rena and Akio in perfect condition.

'But if she just called you…' Kurono could only think that to himself. He understood that Shizune was a little unsettled, but she should relax a bit too.

All that aside, the place where Shizune and Kurono were was the train station where Rena and Akio would arrive after their trip.

The day before she had already become a memory for them, in addition to taking care of fixing and cleaning everything. Needless to say, both Shizune and Kurono really enjoyed these days, as well as having fun in that special way with each other.

Right now, the sun was high in the sky indicating that it was the middle of the day, the morning had been quite normal for both of them, they enjoyed breakfast while chatting, and Shizune mentioned that the pain she felt before had reduced a lot.

It was then that Rena called Shizune again to tell her that they were on their way back, so she wanted to receive them and Kurono was not against that, so now they were in that exact situation.

Shizune kept looking at the waiting platform, many trains were arriving while others were leaving, but she hadn't been able to see the figures of Akio or Rena even once, which made her a bit anxious, but before that, something else caught her attention.

Seeing her like that, Kurono simply took Shizune's hand gently, it was a very simple action, but when Shizune turned to him, he gave her a calm smile to make her calm down a bit.

Shizune was aware of this, plus she understood what Kurono was trying to do, and because of that, a small smile also appeared on Shizune's face as she took Kurono's hand tighter.

The minutes went by after that, Shizune had managed to calm down and Kurono kept her busy bringing up any topic of conversation, but it was obvious that he had to mention something else.

"It seems that today is the end of our little adventure, Shizune-chan." Kurono expressed it differently, but it was quite obvious what he meant.

"I know… It's true that Rena still doesn't need my help too much, but that will change very soon, besides I don't think you will neglect your work, Kurono-kun…" Shizune knew that this was inevitable, but remembering these days she spent with Kurono made her, deep down, wish they wouldn't break up.

"Yes, we'll be a little busy, but don't worry about it, I'm sure we'll find enough free time to get together." Obviously, Kurono had also enjoyed these days a lot, but she knew that they would just go back to the routine they already knew quite well.

"By the way, Kurono-kun. I would really like to continue going to the gym, so I wanted to ask you if there is a way we could go together, but if it's something difficult for you, I think I can do it by myself." Shizune still didn't give up, it was true that she had experienced the effects side effects of working out, especially the negative ones, but she didn't want to give up so easily.

"I also wanted to talk to you about that, first of all, I needed to know if you wanted to keep trying, I can adjust my work schedule a bit and have more free time during the afternoon, so it would be perfect for both of us." It wasn't much of a problem for Kurono, actually he had also promised Kazumi to come back more often, so everything was perfect for him.

"That's wonderful, Kurono-kun!" Shizune was honestly happy about that, it was true that even if Kurono couldn't accompany her, she would try to do it herself, she also had the advantage of knowing Kazumi, but it would actually be a bit more difficult that way.

It seemed like that was already settled, and just at that moment, the sound of the train arriving at the station was heard as well as the doors of the carriage being opened after a few minutes. Shizune and Kurono approached it since that must be the train where Rena and Akio were coming.

People started pouring out quickly and it wasn't long before Shizune found the figures she was looking for.

Rena was being accompanied by Akio as he took care of the heavy luggage, the walk hadn't been too long, but it was enough to she had to stretch a bit as she got out of the train. Her eyes were sweeping the entire platform, but then a voice loud and clear reached her ears.

"Rena!" In the distance, Shizune's figure as she raised her hand to greet them came into Rena's view. She couldn't control herself too much, so she gave Akio everything she had with her and then ran off in Shizune's direction.

Rena's run didn't last long before she reached right where Shizune was, so she opened her arms to hug her tightly.

"I'm back, hehe!" Rena spoke as she let out a light laugh, Shizune wasn't too surprised by what she had done so she also hugged her tightly. "Ah, hello, Kurono-san. Mom didn't cause any trouble, right? Just tell me and I'll punish her."

It hadn't even been a minute since Rena had come back, but she was already starting to play little pranks on Shizune. Kurono was about to reply, but his sight managed to capture Akio's figure in the distance at the same time he saw his sad situation.

"I think I'll go help Akio-kun first." Kurono started to walk away leaving the mother and daughter duo to talk amongst themselves.

"You had fun?" It was the first thing Shizune asked, although perhaps it was something unnecessary considering Rena's attitude.

"You can bet it; you should convince Kurono-san to take you someday." Rena wasn't going to lie, she was sure that, in the future, she would force Akio to take her again since the relaxation and fun they had was enough memorable.

Shizune just laughed a little at that, she wasn't going to say that Kurono had already told her that, but she felt happy for Rena, as well as satisfied that she arrived healthy.

"It's true, say hello to grandma, honey." Rena was having fun, besides she stroked her belly a little making it quite clear what he meant by his words, possibly it would be something strange to hear from someone else, but Shizune felt a rather characteristic warmth in her chest upon seeing the image in front of her, as well as filling her head with many precious memories for her.

"Sigh... It's good to see that you're alright, mother." Akio had arrived while Kurono was helping him with some of the luggage, he seemed somewhat exhausted, but that didn't prevent him from showing his joy at being back.

"Same here, Akio. Looks like Rena left all the heavy lifting to you."

"That could be said, but Kurosawa-san is a great help, if you'll excuse me..." Akio didn't stay there long as he could see that Kurono had continued on his way, Kurono had told him that he would take the luggage to his car, so he didn't want to be left behind.

Both Shizune and Rena watched them walk away and couldn't help but laugh a little.

"I guess we're kind of lucky, don't you, mom?"

"Yeah, you're right about that, hehe." They also thought it was time to go back, but after they took a few steps, Rena caught Shizune's attention again.

"Mom…"

"Yes?" Shizune was a bit distracted at the time, but what she heard next, besides making her nervous, made her want to drop to the ground from the embarrassment she felt.

"The next time you and Kurono-san are busy doing "that"... Please don't answer my calls..."
