Chapter 20: 20 Kamo clan's fate + author note
Jotaro's bloodied hands slid into his pockets as he walked toward the room where the vampire had been thrown. His steps were slow and his expression annoyed.
Suddenly, the sound of splintering wood echoed inside Jotaro's ear as the nearest sliding door shattered and a horde of zombies burst out, the distance between them and Jotaro no more than a few centimeters.
Time seemed to slow down as Jotaro's sharp eyes flicked toward them. A moment later, Star Platinum's figure moved in a blur, "ORA ORA ORA" delivering precise punches to every zombie in the horde.
The entire interaction lasted less than one seconds, leaving behind a pile of broken corpses. Jotaro continued walking as though nothing had happened, his calm steps unshaken.
"ho, Jojo seems angry" Yuki murmured from behind, a smirk tugging at her lips. She held the young Kamo clan heir, Noritoshi, by the collar, keeping him out of harm's way.
Jotaro stepped through the cracked wall and into the room. His gaze locked onto the vampire, who was wiping blood from his face with a sinister grin. "You fool!" With a swift motion, the vampire gathered the blood from his face into his hand and threw it towards Jotaro.
"Crimson Binding!" Masayasu yelled as the blood seemed to come alive.
The crimson lines of blood wrapped around Jotaro, binding him tightly. Gritting his teeth, Star platinum and Jotaro acted as one, the stand flexed his body, muscles rippling. With a powerful motion, he spread his arms, and the blood technique shattered into droplets. Star Platinum then left Jotaro and headed forward ready for action.
"What kind of bullshit?!" the vampire gasped, his voice tinged with panic. His glowing red eyes widened in desperation as he saw the fury burning in Jotaro's gaze. The vampire attempted to manipulate the scattered blood around Jojo again, but he was too slow.
Star Platinum's hand shot forward, grabbing the vampire by the neck and hoisting him into the air. In return the vampire grabbed the Stand's hand, his eyes started glowing purple charging for an attack.
At the same time a sudden chill spread through Jotaro's arm as Masayasu attempted to freeze jojo's stand, but the effort was futile. Star platinum's grip tightened, and the vampire's purple eyes flickered with fear.
"ORA!" Star Platinum's fist slammed into the vampire's head with devastating force. The glow in his eyes dimmed, his hands fell limp, and his body began to slump but Jotaro wasn't done.
He took a deep breath and then "ORA ORA ORA ORA!" Star Platinum unleashed a relentless barrage of punches, each blow shattering the vampire's body further until its headless corpse hit the ground with a sickening thud.
Jotaro watched the clan leader's corps for a moment before he turned to exit the room.
"That was fast," Yuki remarked with a grin as Jotaro approached.
Noritoshi, who had been silent until now, suddenly spoke. "Is my father…?" His voice wavered, and his expression was filled with sadness.
Jotaro sighed heavily, not knowing how to deal with the boy's question. The situation with the Kamo clan was a mess. They had been manipulated by Kenjaku far earlier than Jotaro had anticipated, and now the clan was...left in pieces.
Most of its members were turned into zombies witch were dealt with, and the clan head himself was gone leaving Noritoshi as the next head and probably the only member who had the blood manipulation cure technique.
"Your father failed as a clan leader," Jotaro stated bluntly, his calm gaze meeting Noritoshi's. "I expect you won't make the same mistake as him." He continued.
Hearing the words, the boy clenched his fists and to Jotaro's surprise, Noritoshi's eyes filled with determination rather than anger. "Thank you, mister sorcerer... My father was never a good person so I won't blame you... and I promise to change the clan's fate!" he declared, his voice steady despite his grief.
Jotaro raised an eyebrow, impressed by the boy's resolve. A faint smile tugged at his lips before he turned his attention to an object lying on the floor. Star Platinum picked it up and handed it to him.
Jotaro held it in his hand, It was the mask, the source of the vampire's power and the object he had been looking for until now.
"What are you going to do with it?" Yuki asked, her tone curious as she eyed the cursed tool.
Jotaro's said nothing and tossed the mask into the air.
"ORA!" Star Platinum's fist shot forward, delivering a devastating punch to the mask. "ORA ORA ORA ORA!" A barrage of punches followed, reducing the mask to nothing but dust and fragments that scattered across the ground.
Yuki grinned, clearly satisfied. "I didn't expect anything less from my brother," The abilities like freezing, regeneration, and laser vision were great and all. But in her eyes, it was only a desperate attempt to gain power at the cost of one's humanity, it was the same as becoming a curse for the sake of power and... 'not to mention its weakness to sunlight.'
"Honestly, the idea of never seeing the sun again is just depressing." she added with a shrug.
Jotaro sighed and turned to look at the old man, Shino, unconscious on the floor but alive. He crouched down and slapped the old man's face lightly. "Wake up."
Shino jolted awake, his eyes wide in shock and his face pale form the blood lose. "What?! What happened?!"
Seeing his attendant awake, Noritoshi let out a relieved sigh. A faint, shy smile appeared on his face. At least now, he wasn't entirely alone in the clan.

Some time later, Jojo stood outside, watching as Yuki adjusted her motorcycle. "This is where we part ways for now," Yuki said with a wide smile.
Jotaro nodded. "It seems so" he said, his tone low while he glanced away as if he did not care.
Yuki raised an eyebrow, noticing the corner of his lip curved upward in a faint smile 'Such a tsundere.' she thought with amusement as she started her bike.
"Don't thank me. We had a deal, remember?" Her grin widened. "Just make sure you're ready for my request when I make one!"
Jotaro looked at her one last time "Be safe, Yuki." With a final smirk, Yuki revved her motorcycle and left.
( A/N: Hello! I left some details for readers to deduce on their own, but it seems that it backfired on me so I'd like to clear things up.
Kenjaku is not a time traveler, nor is he different from his original version. The reason he knew about the mask is because in this universe the stone mask is a Kamo family heirloom like I mentioned before.
Another thing I want to mention is that the fanfic will slow down for a while, I have exams so I need to lock in, meaning I won't be able to write for a while.
Thank you for the support so far, you guys are great! ;3
