LIGHTNOVELWORLD Chapter 14: Suspicions?
Sylvester taught all the students as any other professional teacher would and answered all their questions so accurately that even Adonis doubted whether Sylvester was the guy he saw this morning. "So everyone, I'll be ending the class here today so you all should ensure you do your homework and submit it in class tomorrow" Sylvester said before he disappeared.
"How does he do that" Liam said in wonder as he got to Adonis's side "I don't want to know" Adonis said as he walked out of the class empty-handed "Hey aren't you going to take your notes to go do the homework Mr Sylvester gave us" Loam asked as he followed Adonis "I don't need to, I already did it in class" Adonos said and he stopped walking.
The hallway which was empty in the morning was currently filled with countless number of people. "Hey instead of trying to navigate through this crowd that finds us unwanted why don't you come back to the class so that we all can properly know each other" Gabriel said as he quickly dragged Adonis back in before he could even say anything "Hello everyone, guess who decided to come say hello to the whole class" Gbriel said as he brought Adonis to the front of the class as everyone shouted excitedly as they clapped for him
"Why are you guys so excited about seeing me?" Adonis suddenly asked and they all laughed "Who isn't excited here, we are in front of the first Aethonix hybrid who wasn't genetically engineered" a guy among the students said and Adonis furrowed his eyebrows "But we also want to hear what you think of human and also tell us how you have been treated by them" Mason said and Wanda stepped on his feet
"Actually you don't need to tell us that, Mason is just a little stupid" Wanda said glaring at Mason "What, We are not even Aliens and just half main family and yet they are treating us like shit, so I'm sure the treatment they gave him his worse" Mason said and Wanda stepped on his his foot again "He isn't wrong actually" Adonis said and they all turned to stare at him
"You know you don't have to tell us right" Wanda said as she stared at Adonis worriedly "I have no problem telling you guys how I was treated here" Adonis said with a smile that made him look dangerous
"Ever since I came to the Core city, I have been treated by a lab rat by the humans, they have no way to control me and yet they want me to fight for them" Adonis said mockingly "I find them funny and ridiculous, why would I even ever want to fight for them. They have done nothing but maltreated me since I've gotten here and I am really glad that I am not a member of this race that discriminates against anyone just for been slightly different" Adonis said angrily as he slammed his fist on a table and the table broke
"Calm down Adonis" Elara said as she quickly walked to Adonis said as she tried to calm him down "Adonis, you have kept in for a whole year I'm sure you van still keep it the more, you wouldn't want them to kill you here right, so relax" Liam said and Adonis body trembled "You don't understand, the limiter placed on my abilities is making it harder to control it, I can hardly supress it in my body" Adonis said as his eyes glowed brightly as blue flames jumped around in his eyes
"Follow me and use your abilities this time around" Sylvester said as he appeared out of no where shocking them all and the he disappeared as the classroom door opened and Adonis followed as flames and lightning surrounded his body and he disappeared leaving a trail of blue light behind him "We have to go after them" Liam said to Elara serious be he took moved after them and Elara disappeared into the Shadows, Gabriel too followed Liam as he was the only one fast enough to adapt quickly to what was happening as he was a member of the Velocistas family, a family whose power os speed
Adonis and Sylvester where at the top of a mountain. Adonis was surrounded by Lightning bolts each as thick as a human thigh, "Come at me with everything you have, don't hold back. Release all that lightning as a single lightning bolt" Sylvester said with a grin "I have been wanting to test your powers for a long time" Sylvester said and Adonis body shot into the sky as the whole sky went dark as blue lightning filled the sky as they all gathered in Adonis hand as it condensed.
The lightning bolt was so condensed that it looked like a blue lightning shaped crystal and Elara, Liam and Gabriel who where around was shocked especially Elara and Liam. They were surprised by the amount of power hidden in Adonis body. Adonis threw the bolt at Sylvester as the space shattered as it headed straight for Sylvester
"That's a Continental level strength" Gabriel thought to himself as his mind was blank from the strength of Adonis bolt. The bolt reached Sylvester front quickly before it exploded and Adonis who was following the bolt threw out a punch at Sylvester and they were all surprised when another explosion occurred "Impressive" Sylvester said as immerse pressure oozed out of his body and the surrounding dust was cleared off and they saw him standing on the same spot and Adonis fist was floating few inches to his face
"Is that all" Sylvester asked as he saw the flames and lightning around disappeared "The limiter limits my powers" Adonis said as he looked straight into Sylvester eyes with his blue eyes "But it does limit my strength and anger" Adonis said as he slammed his second fist at the invisible wall in front of Sylvester
Adonis fists attacked the wall relentlessly as the ground sinked in as the mountain began cracking "It going to break" the three spectators thought to themselves as they quickly moved far away from the mountain. So the whole mountain crumbled and everyone saw Sylvester defending all of Adonis attacks with his hands as he had a serious expression on his face
Suddenly Adonis held his hands together and threw it up at Sylvester's chin and just before the hammer like hand got to Sylvester chin he disappeared into thin air before he appeared again and he took Adonis by his neck raising him into the air "Listen Kid, your anger is justified. You are not to be maltreated just because of the sins of your race" Sylvester said as he sighed before his eyes turned sharp
"But in this dog eat dog world, the strongest rules and ants like you have no voice to speak. Let your anger be a tool that you can use in the future, there are a lot of humans who work for your race secretly and we can't do anything about it but you can and I'm sure you would love to help us take them out" Sylvester said with a nice smile
"I would love to help but I don't like it when people tell me something fun using the methods you use" Adonis said as he wrapped his legs around Sylvester hand and just as he was about to break Sylvester arm Sylvester disappeared "How does he do that" Liam thought to himself as Adonis fell to the floor and Sylvester appeared in the sky. "I am the Predator here" Adonis said as flames erupted from his body as he slammed his foot on the ground destroying the already destroyed ground more
Suddenly Sylvester sighed as he looked at Adonis. "I guess our suspicions has been confirmed, you can rest now boy" Sylvester said as he slammed his hands together and Adoniswho was airborne felt the space around him slam his body, his eyes turned white as his vision turned dark and he started free falling from the sky, before he could land on the floor Liam caught him.
Sylvester appeared beside Liam as he placed a inhibitor on Adonis before removing the limiter. "Old Man you better start explaining what that was for or it wouldn't end well for you" Liam said as red glowing flames inscriptions appeared on his skin as he stared straight at Sylvester's eyes.
