Leader of Goblin Debauchery: I Can Infinitely Evolve my Artifacts

Chapter 7: Chapter 7 - Bloodline Nirvana

"Do you really need a map?" Thalrexia observed how Keith seemed entirely engrossed in his search around the room, seemingly oblivious to her presence.

His focus hinted that he was trying to find something important, which prompted her to call him out.

"Yes," Keith replied, his tone matter-of-fact. Although her words and the way she spoke resembled those of a machine rather than a human, he chalked it up to one of her personalities and didn't think much of it as he continued his search.

"...I see." Thalrexia nodded slowly, noticing that he remained occupied with the room, neglecting to inquire further about the map.

Gathering her resolve, she began to open her clothing, stuttering slightly as she tried to cover herself.

As the fabric of her upper clothing gradually slid down and fell to the ground, she turned away before sitting down. "Will this be enough?" she called out.

Keith's attention was abruptly piqued by her actions.

'!'

A moment of surprise washed over him when he heard the sound of her undressing, prompting him to turn and look her way.

There he saw the seated figure of her bare self. Her dark, smooth, reddish-flushed back absorbed the light, with a gentle dip along her spine.

Her shoulder blades shifted slightly, hinting at the light tendons beneath her flawless skin, which ended just where her fabric clung, wrapping around her thin, curvy, slender waist, leaving her mostly bare—a simple yet striking sight.

But even more astonishing than her slender back was something etched on her back—it was a map.

Map's lines and curves resembling the delicate shapes of a tattoo rather than a simple engraving.

The deep black of her skin, highlighted by a faint blush, accentuated the map's details, with white inscriptions of place names that he had been searching for.

At that moment, everything clicked for him—he finally understood why she had been hesitant to reveal that she possessed a map.

"How did you get this on you?" Without a moment's hesitation, he approached her, his gaze fixed on her back.

He examined the names of the various locations etched in stark contrast against her skin, each detail providing valuable insight into this world.

"This is done due to the tribe mother's order for children, given that they should not wander off due to the waves and could find their way back." Thalrexia explained, her voice faltering as she seated herself.

The words flowed from her, revealing that the engravings were not merely a design but a mandate from her tribe's leader.

It was a tradition for every member to have a map of the entire continent engraved on them, ensuring that should they get lost in the waves, they could always find their way home.

"!?"

However, her eyes widened, and her body flinched when she felt the cool touch of a sharp object pressing against her back.

Another cold surface soon followed, making her acutely aware that this goblin had placed his hand on her skin.

"Which one of them is your homeland?" he asked, still studying the map. Twelve land masses were shown, divided by various bodies of water.

Though they were labeled, the pressing concern was determining their present location to find a suitable direction.

"My homeland is the esteemed Blackspire Theocracy," Thalrexia responded, blinking in surprise. Exposed to the chill of his touch, she didn't feel much discomfort, but the sensation of his hand gliding over her skin sent a tingling feeling through her, despite her efforts to maintain composure.

"Where do human—goblins live?" Keith wanted to ask specifically where his own kind resided, although he nearly slipped and mistakenly asked about humans first. He quickly corrected himself, acknowledging that if he ventured into a human territory, his first encounter would likely end in his death due to being a member of another race.

"Um, they live in the ruined places of Shardholm Dominion," Thalrexia replied, her posture steady even as she felt a mix of confusion and bemusement at the naive perceptions she had gathered about goblins from books.

Those texts often described goblins as lacking intelligence, capable of growing to their full height in just three weeks, yet mentally feeble.

Now, seeing a goblin and hearing his words, she realized that he seemed smarter than anyone she had encountered so far, evident from his observation skills and how, without any artifacts, he was able to defeat those two people. However, even with all this, he wasn't aware of this world.

"What else do you know about them?" Keith continued, his fingers gliding over her skin. Noting her lack of reaction to his touch, he considered the possibilities—either his race wasn't physically compatible with her or she simply lacked the awareness to interpret the contact as intimate.

To connect with a woman—no matter the race—there were unspoken patterns to learn that dictated understanding their unique characteristics.

"I know many things. For instance, they mature to your height within just 2-3 weeks after birth, and through a process called bloodline nirvana, they become homo goblins. This transformation requires one of the parents to be homo goblins for nirvana. Generally, they inhabit barren, ruined lands left by the lost forbidden emperor known as Eros Voldemort—oh, wait? I remember now—wasn't Eros what you were asking about earlier?!" As Thalrexia recounted her knowledge of goblins with her eyes closed, she suddenly stopped when she mentioned the ancient emperor who had reigned 3,000 years ago. It dawned on her that this goblin had indeed inquired about Eros not long before, a detail she had momentarily overlooked.

'Three weeks?' Keith, who had merely assumed he might be a teenager given his height, was taken aback to learn he was only three weeks old. His gaze shifted to his hand, which radiated an unsettling, monstrous quality, far from anything human.

As he stood there, he glanced at a nearby liquid jar where he could see a figure with a long nose, long ears, and a green, hairless body—clearly ugly, unlike the green humans hanging near the wall.

Despite their green skin, they bore little resemblance to him; they looked more like humanoid beings with green tint.

"What is bloodline nirvana?" Keith asked as he timidly approached one of the green humanoids suspended in space, its headless body showing signs of utter destruction, evident from the dried green blood surrounding it.

It was clear this body was at least two or four weeks older than him; however, there was no sign of decomposition, making it evident that they were likely in a cold region, perhaps somewhere snowy.

"Huh? Isn't that when parents feed their blood to their younglings?" Thalrexia responded, her mind flashing back to her own experience from twenty years ago, when her mother had given her a bowl of water enhanced by a single drop of her own blood.

That was when her brown skin had transformed to pure black and she had awakened her dominion.

"Just that?" Keith was caught off guard. Initially, he had expected something more ritualistic from the term; however, he lifted a small knife lying on the table and made a cut on the arm of the deceased body.

As he suspected, the blood was dried, but beneath the surface, he uncovered some inner vines similar to those of a human, pulling out a small nerve that still carried a clot of green blood.

"Yes, but other races have different methods of feeding," Thalraxia started to explain. "What are you doing?!" she exclaimed in surprise as she noticed him.

Although she wanted to elaborate on the various approaches, like how her tribe traditionally infused blood into the holy water from the world tree—adding herbs to enhance physical strength before feeding it to their children—she was utterly shocked by his next move.

"Let's test it then," Keith declared with a resolute shrug. Having survived by consuming snakes and various other creatures during his training days, he didn't even flinch as he stuffed a sizeable portion of the dried nerve into his mouth, crunching down before swallowing.

His primary motivation for this drastic action was to forsake the weak physique he currently possessed.

He could feel a hunch in his back, and his movements were sluggish compared to what he was accustomed to in a human body.

Adapting to this new form was proving to be a challenge, especially given its inherently frail physique when compared to the muscular one hanging nearby.

He knew he had to prioritize obtaining a better body. Although uncertain whether this approach would work, he couldn't let the opportunity pass without at least confirming it.
