Benji ignored the messages popping up in his screen as he continued to drain all the blood from the goblin until it was completely dried up.

Suddenly, more goblins appeared from the depths of the dungeon and when he noticed them, his eyes glowed with an eerie red light although it lasted merely for seconds before they returned to his normal ocean-blue eyes.

He wiped the trail of blood from the corner of his lips and got up, clenching tightly his dagger.

[Defeat all the D-rank Goblins]

The Goblins were about twenty and they rushed at once towards Benji, some went behind him for a sneak attack while others choose to attack him head on.

Benji cracked his neck, a cold, calculating glint in his ocean-blue eyes. He surveyed the horde of goblins charging towards him, their crude weapons at the ready. Twenty to one, the odds were stacked against him, but Benji didn't flinch.

With a loud cry, the goblins descended upon him, their shrill cackles and snarls filling the air. Benji stood firm, his dagger at the ready. He didn't think about being outnumbered; he didn't think about the odds. He simply reacted.

The first goblin to reach him swung a rusty sword, aiming for Benji's chest. Benji sidestepped the attack with ease, his dagger flashing in the dim light of the dungeon. He struck the goblin's exposed neck, the blade biting deep into its flesh.

The goblin's eyes widened in shock as it stumbled backward, clutching its neck. Benji didn't hesitate; he turned to face the next attacker.

A goblin lunged at him from the side, its spear aimed at Benji's ribs. Benji raised his arm, using his elbow to deflect the blow. The spearhead scraped against his skin, leaving a faint scratch on him.

Benji retaliated with a swift kick, sending the goblin crashing to the ground. He followed up with a series of swift, precise strikes, his dagger weaving a deadly pattern around him.

The goblins were relentless, but Benji was a having a good time dealing with them. He fought with a precision that belied his young age, his movements economical and deadly.

As the fight raged on, Benji sustained several injuries. A goblin's dagger sliced across his cheek, leaving a shallow gash. Another goblin's club struck him on the shoulder, sending a jolt of pain through his arm.

But Benji didn't falter. He didn't slow down. He kept fighting, his movements becoming more labored, but no less deadly.

The goblins began to fall, one by one, their bodies littering the dungeon floor. Benji fought on, his chest heaving with exertion, his dagger dripping with the goblins' blood.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the last goblin fell to the ground, its eyes glassy and lifeless. Benji stood panting, his chest rising and falling with each ragged breath.

He surveyed the carnage around him, his eyes taking in the bodies of the goblins. A cold, calculating glint still lingered in his eyes, a testament to the battle fury that had driven him to victory.

[You have defeated all the goblins]

[You have successfully levelled up]

[You have some rewards, do you want to accept it?]

As he stared at the messages popping up, Benji's injuries began to ache, his body screaming in protest. He gritted his teeth, ignoring the pain. He had won, and that was all that mattered.

[Healing skill has been activated]

[Your health will be restored by 20 percent]

A soft green light engulfed him and all the injuries began to close up. The feeling it gave him was the same one he felt whenever Lucy was using her healing ability on him.

Before he could realize what was happening, his health had already been restored and he was no longer feeling pains anywhere on him.

He smiled faintly and then stared at the messages that still hadn't left. Now, he had time for his system.

'So I got a level up, huh?' He mused. "I'm accepting everything," he mumbled.

A soft purple light engulfed Benji from his head, down to the sole of his feet. It lasted for some time and when it disappeared, Benji noticed that there was something different about him now.

'I feel lighter and stronger than before'. He mused. 'I can get stronger with the help of this system, soon, I'll no longer be an E-rank hunter.'

He felt satisfied with the new development, ever since he became a hunter, he had never boasted of defeating a D-rank monster but now, he could boast of defeating even a hundred of them. He truly felt happy about it.

"What about my gift box?"

A red small box wrapped like a gift appeared in his hand and then he went ahead to open it.

"What is this?" He asked, gazing at the rather normal-looking bangle.

[A magic item, it can protect you from D-rank attacks]

"Hmmm, I don't need it for now," he said and the bangle disappeared. Seeing that it was gone, Benji didn't feel worried because he didn't take the item as anything special.

"Now, time to face the boss of this dungeon," he said, gazing at the darkest part of the dungeon. He grabbed his dagger firmly and made his way towards the place. With the help of perception, he could feel the dangerous aura emitting from there, that was undoubtedly the base of the dungeon boss.

As Benji stepped into the dark recesses of the dungeon, he was immediately struck by the eerie atmosphere. The air was thick with the stench of decay and rot, and the ground beneath his feet seemed to squelch with every step.

Suddenly, a faint rustling noise echoed through the place, growing louder with each passing moment. Benji's eyes scanned the darkness, his perception on high alert.

And then, he saw it.

[Defeat the C-rank Poison Spider]

A massive, poisonous spider emerged from the shadows, its body as large as a small house. The spider's eyes glowed with an eerie red light, and its legs seemed to be coated in a dark-greenish liquid substance.

"It's so huge."

Benji's heart skipped a beat as he realized that this was the dungeon boss. He gripped his dagger tightly, his mind racing with strategies.

The spider, sensing Benji's presence, began to move towards him. Its legs skittered across the ground with an unnerving speed, the poisonous liquid coating its legs leaving a trail of deadly venom in its wake.

Benji dodged to the side, avoiding the spider's initial attack. He countered with a swift strike, aiming for the spider's exposed underside.

But the spider was too quick, and it dodged Benji's attack with ease. It retaliated with a swift bite, its fangs snapping mere inches from Benji's face.

"Damn it!" He gasped as he leapt backward, his heart racing with fear. He knew that he couldn't afford to get bitten by the spider, or he would be doomed.

The fight continued with Benji dodging and weaving between the spider's attacks. He struck back whenever he could, aiming for the spider's vulnerable spots.

But the spider was a strong foe, and it seemed to be adapting to Benji's tactics. It began to use its poisonous legs to its advantage, striking Benji with its venom-coated tips.

Benji gritted his teeth, his body screaming in agony as the venom coursed through his veins.

[HP: -50]

Seeing the message, Benji gritted his teeth and moved further away from the spider.

He had been poisoned and it caused his HP to drastically reduce.

"I have to end this quick!" He said and used his healing ability immediately.

[HP: 75]

"It's not so good."

The spider rushed toward him once more and Benji's dagger sliced through the air, striking true time and again. But the spider's sheer size and strength seemed to make it almost invulnerable to Benji's attacks.

It struck again using its poisonous legs but Benji was fast to react and moved far away from it.

Just when it seemed like the battle would never end, Benji spotted an opening. The spider's eyes, those glowing red orbs, seemed to be its weak point.

"I see it now," he mumbled with his eyes glittering with malice.

With a loud cry, Benji launched himself at the spider, his dagger aimed straight for its eyes. The spider tried to defend itself, but Benji's attack was too swift, too precise because he had used the Dash skill.

The dagger bit deep into the spider's eye, and the creature let out a deafening screech. Its body began to convulse, its legs thrashing wildly as it stumbled backward.

Benji took advantage of the spider's momentary distraction, striking again and again. The spider's body began to weaken, its movements slowing as its life force ebbed away.

Finally, with one last, heavy blow, Benji struck the spider's heart, ending its reign of terror once and for all.

The spider's body collapsed to the ground, its legs twitching feebly as its life force faded away. Benji stood panting, his chest heaving with exhaustion, his dagger still trembling with the force of his final blow.

He bent down and picked up the mana crystal that came out of the C-rank monster, a smile pasted on his face as he examined it.

"This mana crystal costs a million or more, hehehe."

[Task completed]

[You have leveled up]

[Your rewards are...]

He ignored the system messages and looked around, his eyes scanning the cavern for any signs of treasure or loot. And then, he saw it - a chest, adorned with intricate carvings and symbols, sitting atop a pedestal in the center of the room.

Benji's eyes lit up with excitement as he stumbled towards the chest, his heart pounding with anticipation. As he got there, he tried to open the chest but noticed that it was locked.

His shoulders were about to drop in disappointment when he received another message from his system.

[You have received a random box]

The small red box fell into his palm and he opened it immediately, inside it was a key.

'Could it be the key to this box?' He thought and went ahead to try it.

The moment he inserted the key, the box opened and what he saw inside, left him gasping.
